- Karin A.July 2023Positive tingCleanliness friendliness Surroundings Pool / sea combination for kids to learn to swim Excursion possibilities Location / panorama from the campsitesNegative ting-Ingenious campsite with some box pitches for tent campersWe were traveling with a 6x4m tent and had been given a fantastically beautiful spot with a mega sea view. It really pays off to lug the camping stuff up there and it's not too far to carry. We had shade in the morning and evening and during the day we were in the great pool (low and deep) - our two... kids learned to swim thanks to the pool. In the afternoon we usually went down to the Tellaro house beach, which to our delight is made of stone slabs and is very small and intimate. Tellaro is wonderful if you don't need a lot of hustle and bustle, love nature and the water and don't need sound (with the exception of Zickaden) in the evening. What's great about the campsite is that there is no constant driving in and out, especially by campers, etc., as they are usually "allowed" to camp in the lower rows and cars are parked "below". We went on excursions to Portovenere, which was wonderful. We went to Lerici twice by bus and also visited the leaning tower in Pisa. The staff at the campsite are top-notch and very friendly, especially the bar is great, the chef cooks mega well, we loved it - THANK YOU to everyone for the wonderful time with you. - Olaf M.June 2019Positive ting- Quiet place - Good food - PoolNegative ting- Narrow approach and tight space - Sanitary building could be optimized - Bathing opportunities by the sea far awayInteresting approachThe approach with larger vehicles during the day is very challenging, as the already narrow road (which stretches for ages) is sometimes blocked by scooters and the like. Sea access rather non-existent. Campsite itself also very narrow. However, the site itself has charm and the food in the restaurant is unexpectedly very good. Very nice village center within easy walking distance. A one-night stopover is not recommended.Automatisk oversatt.
- Sergio M.July 2017Expensive and badFor a horrible camper, run away. Value for money one of the worst in EuropeAutomatisk oversatt.
- Benjamin B.July 2017Positive tingNice and helpful team Very clean sanitary facilities Great pool Beautiful location of the campsite Super excursion possibilitiesNegative tingPlay area for older children Otherwise everything was really great!!!Fantastic summer vacationOur summer vacation on this site was indescribably beautiful! Admittedly, the journey was quite a challenge, but we made it even with our large caravan and were rewarded with an incredibly beautiful pitch with a sea view, which we enjoyed every moment of our vacation! On departure, we were immediately... helped to maneuver the caravan out of our alcove. We have never seen such a clean pool on a campsite before and really enjoyed relaxing and swimming there. The site itself is very clean and well-kept, the restaurant is very tasty at moderate prices. We also always found the sanitary facilities to be clean. The quiet times were strictly adhered to, so it was never noisy, even at night. It's easy to walk from here through the narrow streets of Tellaro down to the harbor. The village is really very picturesque and invites you to linger. Excursions to the surrounding area (Cinque Terre, Lerici, La Spezia, Genoa.....) are also easily possible from here (the bus stops in the village), so you certainly won't get bored. Only the children's playground, which is nicely shaded, could offer a little more for older children. But for our two children (5 and 7 years old) everything was fine! We enjoyed our vacation very much and will definitely come back again! It's worth the trip! Thank you for the super nice vacation time!Automatisk oversatt.
- Martin M.June 2017Positive tingLocation close to town. Clean.Negative tingNo sea view from the lower seats, very crowded.Great place, full of camping!Very picturesque place with good restaurants, camping quite narrow and already packed in June. The approach is stressful due to the crowds of cars and people on the narrow road. The path to the "beach" via steps is also very crowded and there is little space. The campsite was clean and tidy, but not cheap, and the path to the sanitary blocks had to be climbed. Swimming pool looked nice, bar also ok.Automatisk oversatt.
- Dennis K.September 2014Approach with Womo difficult, not helpfulDear camping friends, just as I have already described at one of the other campsites, it is not easy to get here in a motorhome, but it is definitely doable. First of all, there is room to turn around at the entrance and the entrance area looks really well maintained. However, when we arrived at the... top of the slope, they made no effort to come out of their shells and start a conversation with us. When we found the groundsman in charge, he was not very friendly and helpful and told us that the pitch was full. He also immediately sent us to another full pitch through the slope. So, if you want to go up there, it's better to call in advance and here's a tip for the operator: "Signs for all camping fans indicating whether the site is full or not, placed at the start of the narrow access road, would be a great idea".Automatisk oversatt.
- Heleen w.August 2014Positive tingTellaro, Lerici, Cinque TerreNegative ting- Very small pitches (40 m²) - Sanitery: Turkish toilets, only 3 European toilets, cleaned with a pressure washer, so not cleanNever againNot friendly, not helpfull with the placing of the caravan (difficult because it's steep and the pitches are so small) Pitches: only 40 m² (if they could, they would place the caravans on top of eachother). Just place for caravan + table or caravan + tent (otherwise the neighbors can't pass). You have... to park your car outside, but they ask 6.50 euros a day for parking the car. Pool: only 10 seats for hundreds of people. No shop on the camping, not near either.... The sea and beach: steep and far away, like fishes in a bowl (handkerchief big). Very expensive for what it is: we paid 70 euros a day for 2 adults, 3 children between 3 and 6, a caravan and a car (that never was there anyway, but discussion was impossible).Automatisk oversatt.
- Florian D.May 2013We were there for one night in the low season at the end of May 2013. The site was very clean, attractively laid out and well maintained. Prices were reasonable for the low season and also in the high season well within the range of what you are used to in Italy. Word should have gotten around by now... that Italy is one of the most expensive camping countries in Europe. Pitches for tents neatly gravelled in terraces under olive trees, space a little tight, car parking nearby was available, but because the site is on a steep slope and partly terraced, pitches are scarce. I prefer that to having a car next to every tent. Sanitary facilities excellent, pizzeria good and reasonably priced, but there is no store, basic necessities available in the bar. In the low season it may be possible to arrive without a reservation, but in the high season it is hopelessly booked out due to its beautiful location and careful management (the Swiss...).Automatisk oversatt.
- Zelter X.July 2012The campsite is situated on a hill above a pretty village. The site is very strictly managed. The tent pitch is determined by the groundsman, as is the parking lot. The pool is only open at certain times and even washing up is prohibited at certain times. The tent areas are scattered in terraces between... many permanent camping facilities. They are mostly dry, dusty and bone-hard small areas where the tents are close together. We camped about 1/2 meter next to our neighbor's tent, 1/2 meter next to a permanent camper and in front of an unsightly privacy fence over the roofs of the next permanent campers and not far from a stinking drain. How nice! We were only there for one night, so we don't know if our impression is representative: Disco music from the pool in the afternoon, piano music for the restaurant in the evening, loud pool party with DJ at night ... Rest was out of the question. But the place is also very noisy anyway, lots of children shouting, ... and the prices are really steep! The big plus point is for the exemplary sanitary facilities. They are a bit luxurious, very clean and spacious.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jürgen W.June 2012Stayed for 2 days at Whitsun 2010 and 5 days in 2012. Very nice, clean pool, terraced pitches. Simple but clean sanitary facilities. The restaurant right by the pool is great. Sit outside in the evening and eat fine Italian dishes. The sea is about 10 minutes away on foot. Approx. 15 min walk to the village of Tellaro with beautiful old streets, restaurants, ice cream parlor. We would love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.
- Eve T.June 2010The site is on a terraced slope so the pitch was not easy to get to. We had a tent and had to carry everything and then couldn't find a place to park. Some of the sanitary facilities were closed. Very scenic spot but we wouldn't return.
