Sanitary facilities absolutely outdated, cobwebs between the washbasins, the whole place and building where the sanitary facilities are located could be tidied up and cleaned, lots of garbage and very unkempt.

The grass should have been mowed, long way to the sanitary facilities which urgently need to be overhauled, cobwebs between the washbasins, showers with hot water cost extra, very unkempt the area where the former restaurant was located, this is decaying....
Landlady was nice and friendly, but Corona was her top priority and we were repeatedly advised to get tested at the test center.

Positive ting
Nothing to do, no fuss nothing is required everything is allowed. Back to nature.
Negative ting
There are windmills a short distance away; in certain winds, they are sometimes audible at night.
Rest.
Want a campground to recover or for peace and quiet look no further. We have been coming there for 36 years, since 1982. In all those years nothing has changed. Yes the plumbing is old but clean that's enough for us. We come here mainly because there is nothing to do, so no fuss, just do your own thing.... In the morning go to the bakery, walk 1 km, get sandwiches and a Bildzeitung and start the day quietly. Cycling, walking, reading a book and doing nothing, lovely. Want to be active you can. The Bird Park is nearby, a day trip to Bremen, day trip to Hanover, swimming in Dushorn. Groceries you do at the bakery or in Walsrode at REWE. For us this is the example campsite, campsites that are busier are always disappointing.

Sanitary facilities are in need of renovation.
Perhaps suitable for low demands
The sanitary facilities urgently need to be renovated. It is poorly signposted. Maybe recommendable for one or two nights but not for a longer stay.

After many traffic jams on the A7, we finally ended up at this small campsite in a very rural location. Free choice of pitch, friendly operator, small pond and lots of peace and quiet were our first impressions. Harvesting machines until dark, "beach party" in the neighboring village from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m., older sanitary facilities in an outbuilding and only one water point at the house are the lasting impressions.

A really beautiful, green and quiet nature campsite. If you are looking for peace and quiet in the middle of nature, we can only recommend this site. The sanitary facilities are older, but well maintained and clean.

An absolute NATURE campsite. Sanitary facilities very outdated (only 1 shower each) Much too expensive! You also have to pay for hot water (showers and sinks). If you are only looking for peace and quiet, this is the right place. Not at all suitable for children! We packed up again shortly after arrival and went somewhere else.

We have been there several times. Very nice for cycling tours e.g. Walsrode, Fallingbostel or to the Aller. Very nice quiet pitch. Free choice of pitches, friendly operators. Sanitary facilities a little older but always clean. We always like to come back there.
