Great place to stay overnight
The site is very suitable for overnight stays on the A75, as it is practically right next to the exit. Nevertheless, the highway can hardly be heard, mainly thanks to the lush vegetation with dense high hedges. "Gentle rustling" is the best way to describe it and the crickets chirped much louder. The... welcome was very friendly and also works in German. The small pitch is divided into 2 levels. On the upper level near the entrance the pitches are rather sloping, on the lower level they are level. In general, the pitches are rather small. The wash house is fairly clean, but in need of renovation and completely undersized. Bread rolls can be ordered in advance, otherwise there are no other catering options. The village is not within walking distance. Incidentally, very nicely laid out rental cabins in the upper part of the site with a beautiful view.

Great location directly on the highway. Perfect for travelers passing through. The gentle highway noise didn't bother me. Like being by the sea :) Price very reasonable. Contrary to other reviews, I found the sanitary facilities not so great. But sufficient.

Right next to highway (hikers) campground
We visited this campground as an overnight stay heading south. Campsite is ideally located on the highway, the highway noise is perceptible but for one night certainly not bothersome. Our arrival was around 16.00, reception was closed, but we were pointed out that we could look for a spot. The campground... is located on the slope of a hill, so the streets are terraced. Our street (especially spots 115 to 109 have excellent shade from the tall Conifers. There are also several spots where the planting is quite limited. The power connections and water taps are well distributed and have partly a French connection, partly CEE. Toilet building dates from late 70s/early 80s (I estimate) and brightened up with lilac colors and smells and looks clean. Our visit was in the middle of summer (100 kilometers before the campsite the car thermometer still indicated an outside temperature of 35 degrees), the night was wonderfully cool due to the high altitude (about 900 meters). As a hiker's campsite ideally located, quiet and a clean toilet block. As a short overnight campground worth three stars!

Guter Stop für die Durchreise
Eins vorweg, der Platz liegt direkt an der A75. Ist also nicht sehr ruhig. Vom Eingang erst rechts dann links liegen ein paar ruhige Stellplätze. Ansonsten sehr sauber mit wenig Optionen.

The campsite as such and the sanitary facilities are fine, but the location is very unfavorable: close to the freeway (noise day and night), approx. 3 km outside the town without any infrastructure, such as cafés, restaurants, shopping facilities nearby - absolutely nothing! Bread service on order in the morning. Price per night: EUR 9.75 for one person with tent and bicycle.
