Unfortunately, it was not such a nice vacation at the campsite Kautenbach, unfriendly welcome, a lot of noise, many dogs running around freely despite the leash requirement, operators do not care, not again Camping Kautenbach.

Geweldige camping waar alles van moeder natuur te zien en doen is. Geweldige mtb trails die tevens ook te belolpen zijn. Of je nu 1 uurtje wil gaan lopen of een volle dag geen enkel probleem. Vanuit de camping stap je zo op de trijn geheel gratis openbaar vervoer door geheel luxemburg heen we komen hier al enige tijd een zijn nog steeds niet uit gekeken. Camping kautenbach en zijn personeel zijn top

Great circular hiking trails directly from the campsite, beautifully situated in the valley and directly on the river, very nice hosts.

Beautiful campsite
We felt very comfortable here and had a great and relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back in the summer to swim in the Clerf :)

Large pitches, spacious, bread roll service, scenic location, friendly welcome
Negative ting
Partly long distances and relatively steep to sanitary facilities. No disinfectant available in the sanitary facilities during Corona times
Pure nature
Large, spacious campsite in the middle of nature, in good weather especially the pitches directly on the stream are a dream, the standard pitches lack separation by hedges etc., little privacy. in bad weather there could be a lack of activities due to the abgel Lae. A restaurant on site, otherwise no... food options in the area without a vehicle. Good hiking opportunities, normal standard sanitary facilities, some long, somewhat steep paths. Store with essentials and bread available to order in advance. During our visit there were several larger groups present, so it was sometimes a bit noisy.
Friendly reception. Price/performance ok.
Conclusion, we will plan to use the site again on occasion, but only on the water pitches
