High price. WIFI reception very uneven on the pitch. Not all toilet blocks of the same standard, in one very strong canal smell.Automatisk oversatt. - Reiner K.September 2023Positive tingClose to the city center and the beach. All pitches with electricity, water and drainage. Good value for long-term stays. Cleanliness mostly guaranteed. Simple reservation formalities.Negative tingMostly quite small pitches. Despite recent refurbishment of the sanitary blocks, these were equipped with inferior technology. Strong septic tank smell in the sanitary building was not removed. Chemical toilet sink without light.Good facilities, mostly quiet, close to the beach and townIdeal place for beach vacation and long-term stay. Well equipped, has everything you need. Familiar atmosphere. Less suitable for camping vehicles of 8 m and longer.Automatisk oversatt.
- Maria und Heribert S.January 2022Positive tingThe great location on the beach - the nearest town (Oliva) is easy to reach by bike or on foot - very friendly and helpful staff -Negative tingnoneOnce KIKO always KIKOWe have been going to the campsite for almost 20 years - we always feel well looked after and have always been supported by the friendly and helpful staffAutomatisk oversatt.
- Jürgen W.December 2020Positive tingGood location, Lidl nearbyNegative tingDog excrement wherever you look, lots of Dutch cats (they are free)Arrival 2.12.20-disappointed early departure on 16.01.21.We have known the site for around 30 years and were standing on the new site on the left-hand side of the reception for the first time. One of the 3 sanitary buildings was open. Distance rules impossible to keep. The building is catastrophically outdated, full of mold, broken floor tiles in the showers,... it stank terribly from the floor drains. Toilet brushes probably saw the light of day several years ago and are now shimmering green. Yuck. The hot water control in the disabled shower required force and dry hands. The dirty water ran into the passageway instead of the shower drain due to the wrong tile gradient. The doors were constantly open as there were no handles. Showering in the cold with a draught was the order of the day.
A cat jumped out of the engine compartment when we started the engine of the rental car. (The fan must have shaved it) Cat poop on the way to the sanitary building. I stepped all over it.
Complaints have been told for years: next year new sani buildings will be built. An excuse to make good money.
I was also told this by other people who spend the winter here and fall for the trick every year.
Paths to the beach were often covered in dog excrement, the dunes were entered despite barriers for walking.
We wanted to spend the winter for 4 months, we are self-sufficient, we don't go to a campsite to shower in the WOMO.
There are plenty of free pitches.
We were charged €1030.50 for the 45 days. Never again.
We are now in Gandia, very, very clean everything, with a large heated swimming pool for €11 per day for 45 nights.
The 3rd generation Kiko operators should be ashamed of themselves.
The price-performance ratio is no longer right.
Sandra the receptionist allegedly passed on all complaints to the owners. A shower head was replaced once.....Automatisk oversatt. - Pascal H.May 2019Positive tingClose to the sandy beach and seaNegative tinga little too fullA campsite for beach staysThe campsite is located directly by the sea on the outskirts of Oliva. Only a dune separates the site from the beautiful sandy beach. This leads very gently into the sea. It is therefore also suitable for children. But strangely enough, it gets windy on the beach from around 2 pm. Unfortunately, the... town of Oliva is not particularly pretty. Many dark canyons of houses and lots of traffic. A path leads from the campsite to the harbor and a small promenade. Nice for an evening stroll. The campsite is well equipped. There is a shop with baguettes and croissants for breakfast, a snack bar with special offers at weekends and a restaurant with a camper menu on weekdays. In addition to the beach, you can also go on bike tours or hikes. Unfortunately, the side street directly past the campsite was a bit noisy at night (garbage collection). Overall, the place was quite full (low season). Unfortunately, the free WLAN did not work. The fecal toilet was unfortunately very close to the pitch. The sanitary facilities are ok. However, the washbasins in the washroom smelled a bit from the drain. All in all, the special location by the sea and good facilities are outstanding. In the morning you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise on the beach!Automatisk oversatt.
- Gertrud I.August 2017Vacation 2017Unfortunately, it's getting fuller here every year, despite the new sanitary facilities :-( ! The years before we always went to the beach in the evening to play with the dogs away from the sea and people and with a lead. The first time this year was pointed out by the police that you are not allowed... on the beach with a dog on the request he should but the others with dog directly on the sea are also white he has only pointed us from place 😟Whether it is because we are German 🤔the other at least 5 dogs on the beach were from Spaniards were tolerated! Even if there is frustration with the Germans this year, you can't lump them all together! We behave calmly and tidily and always clear up the dogs' poo, although I don't think many people know and practice this here! We have a dog from here we support an animal shelter from here leave our money here give good Tringeldeld and are no longer desired so it seems to me 😟 Today, for example, we were in the Kikoport our favorite restaurant (been), we have sat in front of empty glasses we have reordered drinks we have reordered sauces and waited in vain until the end not get! We also asked for an ashtray and after asking several times (remember the table next to us asked much later and got one) got the answer they unfortunately don't have any more 😟Slowly I think it's because we are German - at least I don't feel as comfortable here as the years before! I don't think we've ever tipped so little in our entire lives 😟! We are still enjoying the last few days here and will keep a close eye on things.Automatisk oversatt.
- KLINKNER D.May 2017Positive tingbeautiful facilityNegative tingCleanliness of the sanitary facilities leaves a lot to be desired, too many dogs.Beautiful campsite with a long sandy beachPitches are nice. The sanitary facilities are not so clean and are only cleaned once a day, which is not enough. The proportion of dogs on the beach and on the pitch is too high. At the weekends the free pitches are occupied by Spaniards who are very loud and show no consideration.Automatisk oversatt.
- Edwin G.December 2016Positive tingbeautiful large pitches with water and electricity, not far from the sea, long beach, you can quickly reach the city by bike, pleasant quiet placeNegative tingon the dunes i.in our opinion the dog toilet, should definitely be prohibited, signs or dog bags are missing, playgrounds for childrenFeel-good placeWe were there over Christmas. Pleasant climate. Very nice large pitches with electricity and water connection, enough distance to the neighbors, sanitary facilities are ultra-modern on the right of the pitch, not quite as modern on the left, but ok, by bike you are quickly in Oliva, there are many discounters... and other shopping facilities, Internet was a pure disaster, there were many nerves bare, even if it was free, on the square there is kl. Kiosk and Pizzaria, the restaurant only opens at the beginning of January, we were able to eat there once, can be highly recommended (must be reserved), few places when it is cooler, on the beach you can walk endlessly and find peace, reception is always busy and there are very friendly staff, Friday big market in Oliva until noon, we liked it. We have booked again for 2017.Automatisk oversatt.
- Susanne H.July 2016Positive tingBeach and seaNegative tingI can't think of any!20 years of experienceWe've been coming here again and again for 20 years, which should be proof enough that it's wonderful here.Automatisk oversatt.
- Harald S.October 2015Positive tingLocated directly on the beach, small store with baguettes available, very nice, German-speaking staffNegative tingVery narrow on the left, outdated sanitary facilities - will certainly look different in 2016.Top right, well left - will now changeI can fully agree with the previous speaker. We were there at the same time and only got a pitch on the left-hand side because it was very busy. Our 7m camper looked 1m out of the pitch (sorry to the neighbors, but they were all really nice!). Ratings are to be seen as an average, e.g. sanitary facilities... on the right 5 stars, on the left 1 star, average 3 stars. The renovation that is now taking place is understandable. Overall, however, 4 stars, because the positive impressions clearly outweigh the negative, it was a really nice vacation!Automatisk oversatt.
- Reinhold G.October 2014Positive tingDirectly on the beach, large and very clean beach, close to town, quiet place, very friendly staffNegative tingleft side increased Acsi price 18€ ?, mostly small pitches, sanitary in need of renovation, no water points right. side only full payerMy impression of the campsite and the surrounding areaI liked the quiet place right by the sea, the beach is long and wide and very clean and well-kept. The reception staff are very friendly and speak several languages, including German. Shopping facilities and weekly market are available in the neighboring town (1km). There is nothing else worth mentioning... in the town itself. Also only a few inviting restaurants. Unfortunately, from 2014 the Acsi price was increased to 18€ without improvements (left side of the pitch). The sanitary facilities are completely outdated and look correspondingly disgusting. There are also no water taps on the pitches. Only on the right side of the site are there enough large pitches with water/waste water, the sanitary facilities are adequate. But not for Acsi, only for full payers.Automatisk oversatt.
- Michael W.June 2014Positive tingPeace and relaxation, great beach and very friendly staff.Negative tingNo places of interest.Super placeHave already been there twice in May/June, if you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place in the low season. Also highly recommended with a dog. The restaurant Kiki-Port is very good but also expensive. The cafe and pizzeria Kiko at the reception is also recommended. Cheaper and very nice service.Automatisk oversatt.
- peter l.March 2014Positive tingfor senior citizens who are not looking for an active lifeNegative tingadvertised infrastructure not in operationDo not drive under 70.... We were tempted by the positive reviews to stay for four days at the beginning of March. Short verdict: Only for the seemingly dead. In detail: Site approx. 1.5 km outside the town (not worth seeing), stylish reception and spa building, mini bistro/pizzeria (good and freshly... made) and small store, otherwise (apart from the crumbling 70s charm of the sanitary facilities, whose cracking joints even the daily cleaning can't harm the smell) no infrastructure. Characterized by permanent campers nestled on narrow plots. Very quiet - practically no living creatures to be seen after 4 pm. Lots of surrogate children and their moms. Advertised pool not usable, but beach completely empty and clean (users stay in WW/mobile). Sheltered from the wind behind the dune, therefore climatically pleasant. Even after days it was not clear what is supposed to be so great here - unless you are over 70, have at least an 8m mobile and indulge in satellite TV from 5pm....Automatisk oversatt.
- Ralf L.March 2014Hello, we are currently staying at KIKO Park. Everything is very modern and clean. Are on the "cheap" pitch on the left side with adac and acsi only 18 euros a night. But you need a long cable up to 40 meters if you use the western pitches. The right side of the CP are super big pitches with water and... waste water and expensive of course. Great time here with friendly staff. The beach is just great. Very fine sand. Ideal with a dog, as it is very spacious to the north. There is a marina to the south. Food is very good and reasonably priced to a little expensive for Spanish standards. Conditions. In Oliva about 2-3km very easy to reach by bike incl Aldi and consum market. Everything is very clean and pleasant. We have also been to Playa Tropicana and La Marina. KIKO is just as nice but not quite as big. Wifi is available on the entire site 1 week for 15 euro 1 month for 30euro good connection. Wifi in the restaurant is free. Greetings Ralli and Mel with Yorki LotteAutomatisk oversatt.
- Holmer L.February 2014Positive tingGreat location directly behind the dune - beautiful sandy beach.Negative tingShopping on foot difficult as supermarket is a few km away.Great location!!!Great location right by the sea. Beautiful sandy beach. Oliva also within walking distance. Great restaurant at the marina. Golf in Oliva not easy but nice course (lots of water). We were also here in 2013. A round with cart (compulsory in January!) not quite cheap (95 euros - Jan. 2015). A boules court would be nice.Automatisk oversatt.
- Achim S.June 2012Baltic Sea feeling in Spain, a campsite right by the sea, but behind a small dune, which you can easily climb over with wooden steps. Unfortunately, there is no sea view from the campsite. The beach is wonderful, huge and wide, fine sand. The campsite is located on a small bay by the harbor, very suitable... for children. The grounds of the campsite are quite modern in style, we liked it. Nice pool by the spa. The large pitches with shade mats are only for "full payers", cheap travelers with ADAC CampCard (16€!) have to stay on the mostly shadeless left part of the pitch, but this is absolutely ok, although some of the pitches are quite small. The sanitary facilities seem to have been renovated, everything is very nice and complete, with toilet seats, toilet paper, washbasins with soap and hand dryers = exemplary! The dishwater is also wonderfully hot, which is not the case everywhere. In the ultra-modern reception you are welcomed in German and in a very friendly manner. Drawback: WLAN 8€ for 1 day or 12€ for 2 days is very expensive, so we left it. But we will certainly stay here again for 2 nights in 2013. Incidentally, very nice cycling area, everything is flat, the town of Oliva is nearby, Thursday was a big market day, highly recommended.Automatisk oversatt.
- Eggenberger J.February 2012Excellent place to spend the winter. Conditionally suitable as a transit site. Reception is currently being rebuilt and is in a provisional state. The on-site grocery store has a good selection. Unfortunately foam rubber bread wrapped in plastic foil.Automatisk oversatt.
- Hartmut B.April 2011Great place, but the facilities for children under 12 are very limited. But this is partly compensated for by the close proximity to the beach. Staff speak fluent German. The sanitary blocks need to be renovated soon.Automatisk oversatt.
- Friedrich B.February 2011
- Peter N.September 2010Was here in the off-season, can only recommend the place, staff very friendly. The pitches are gravelled, the sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day and the dune to the beach provided good protection from the wind.Automatisk oversatt.
