- Marlies G.juli 2024Positive tingDigoin is a great starting point for touring the Loire cycle path. The campsite is within walking distance of the pretty little town where there are several restaurants and shops.Negative tingNoneCycling along the LoireWe received a very friendly welcome from Sarah and had a great stay. The campsite has rental tents and a clean pool, and the sanitary facilities are cleaned regularly and are clean. The reception offers a bread roll service and drinks and snacks are also available.
When we had a technical problem with our car, Sarah was extremely helpful and we would like to thank her again.
We would come back at any time!
Marlies & UlliAutomatisk oversatt. - Rüdiger K.august 2019Positive tingConveniently locatedNegative tingUnkempt pitches and sanitary facilities. I wouldn't even recommend it for an overnight stay. The town of Digoin matches the campsite.Run-down campsiteWe chose the site as a stopover, but it is in a terrible state, whether it's the unkempt pitches or the completely inadequate, outdated sanitary facilities. I recommend the campsite "Le Mambre in Para-le-Monial". Not the very best site either, but at least 1-2 stars better than the one here in Digoin.Automatisk oversatt.
- Angelika S.april 2018Positive tingLocation, friendlinessGood ambienceA great welcome, very friendly owners, sufficient and clean sanitary facilities, clean pitches with few pitches. Beautifully situated for visiting the Haute Loire, Canal du Centre with bridge over the Loire. 1 km to the town center. Also much used as a transit site, everything fits here!Automatisk oversatt.
- Thomas M.juli 2017Positive tingShady place. Close to the townA good stopover for cyclists and canoeistsRamp for boats right next to the campsite. The pitch is paved and shady. The sanitary facilities are in need of renovation but well maintained. The staff are very friendly. It is a 5-minute walk to the town.Automatisk oversatt.
- Rainer A.august 2016Positive tingQuiet, clean, dogs welcomeNegative tingThe transport facilities are getting on in years. Small older sanitary facilitiesGood transit pointVery friendly French-speaking staff. Baguette service. Campsite directly on the Loire. Dogs welcome. Behind the campsite is a large unused outdoor area for dogs with access to water.Automatisk oversatt.
- Anita Z.august 2016Positive ting- good price/performance ratio - good location for those passing through - free WLANNegative tingnoneGreat place for a stopover on the way throughWe stayed here on the way home from vacation. Great location not far from the main road. The place is within walking distance e.g. for dinner etc., small pool - only usable for refreshment. Very friendly tenant couple. Bread for breakfast must be ordered in advance. Sanitary facilities old - but super clean.Automatisk oversatt.
- Gaby B.mai 2016nice transit campsite, you can also stay here a few days longerDigoin is located on the Loire and there are also several canals. Very nice starting point for cycling tours. We were happy with the campsite, the owners are very friendly. We were very satisfied with the sanitary facilities, apparently something has been done to them in the meantime.Automatisk oversatt.
- Günter K.juni 2015Positive tingConvenient location when passing through.Negative tingNo parcelling. Pitches only accessible via kerbs.Overnight stop on the way westTypical place for an overnight stay. Small private swimming pool next to the municipal swimming pool. No parceled out pitches. - Hans Martin F.juni 2015Positive tingLocation by the riverNegative tingUnkempt. The toilet is dark at night.Unfortunately unkempt.Beautifully situated, but very unkempt. Weeds everywhere, the grass was high. Nothing is invested. Small pitches. 3 small sanitary buildings, very narrow. It was dark inside at 10:30 pm. Who needs to go there???? The town is close by.Automatisk oversatt.
- Christian H.september 2014Positive tingLocation, friendlinessNegative tingsome renovations are necessaryGetting on in yearsClose to the interesting little town of Digoin, very friendly welcome. You can choose your pitch, some with fresh and waste water, pitches mostly accessible via a curb, movers have to work! Showers at reception OK, toilets in need of renovation. Everything looks a bit run-down. Too bad. Great location, very friendly tenants. Give good tips on where to go with the dogsAutomatisk oversatt.
- Marian K.juli 2013Small, very friendly campsite. Very nice welcome, small "cute" swimming pool for camping guests only. Bread service in the morning if ordered in advance. Several small sanitary blocks, very clean. Digoin is a town worth seeing, more than worth a stopover.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jacqueline S.juni 2013Beautifully situated campsite. Ideal for cycling tours along the Loire Canal.Automatisk oversatt.
- Andreas B.juni 2010We chose the site for an overnight stopover because it was listed in the ADAC's pitch guide. With a long camper van, at that time it was our MB Viano and a Knaus 500 FU, the entrance and round trip on the campsite is quite narrow. The site itself is simple and modest. It is hardly possible to spend the... night coupled up because of the small space, but we still found a place at the entrance/exit. I can't say anything about activities in and around Digoin, as we only had this one overnight stop. Caravans of a similar size should therefore pay attention to the conditions on site. Otherwise, we were able to sleep well and set off again early in the morning.Automatisk oversatt.
