- Marcel R.July 2020Positive tingIdeal location on the banks of the Family campsite Close to nature Beautiful pitches You choose your pitch. Camping spiritNegative tingAreas for improvement : - more water points - expand the grocery offerSuperb real campsiteWe've rediscovered the spirit of a real campsite, with 530 tent and caravan pitches rather than vacation camps with a majority of mobile homes. The pitches are spacious, some with direct access to the lake, including our own. Very clean sanitary facilities, cleaned twice a day by a team of conscientious youngsters. Fast food in the evenings (good pizzas), a bar with terrace and good atmosphere in the evenings. Friendly managers. A real pleasure.Automatisk oversatt.
- Daniel K.July 2019Positive ting+ Beautiful, large pitches + Friendliness + Direct location on the lake + SurroundingsNegative ting- Sanitary facilitiesBeautiful location, campsite with potentialWe were welcomed in a very friendly and helpful manner, we were able to choose our own pitch and despite the approaching vacation season, there were still pitches available with direct access to the lake. Many of the pitches have a steep incline, so the rear wheel often has to be "dug in" to straighten... the caravan. The pitches vary in size, some are really very large, the sanitary facilities have passed their prime and are no longer up to date. Showers are small, water temperature and pressure cannot be regulated and there is not enough space to wash dishes. We were also not convinced by the cleanliness, although it is cleaned daily, but mainly just sprayed out with the water hose, which is not enough, lots of cobwebs, some bird droppings on the shower heads, etc. The area offers a lot of nature, great for hikers, less suitable for cycling, cycle paths are poorly signposted or simply don't exist. The private beach has a relatively steep slope and is less suitable for small children, but the public, communal beach is directly adjacent to the campsite and is shallower.Automatisk oversatt.
- Hans P.May 2018Positive tingSimple and effectiveNegative tingIt's over and out.Never camp at 'La Grisière' againWe were often at "Camping La Grisière" from 1971 to 2018. Although the campground grew larger in that half century, the atmosphere remained largely authentic. The prices also remained reasonable. This was in contrast to the noisy campsite a little further away.
Now, however, it is over with La Grisière.... Only mobile homes are available for rent as of 2022. Passers-by with tents, touring caravans or motor homes are no longer welcome.
The adjacent "Camping Le Grand Lac" is too small to accommodate this. The lake has become virtually inaccessible to the camping passerby.
For many, a period of decades of simple and relaxed camping in Clairvaux-les-Lacs comes to an end.
Mobile home enthusiasts have a place to stay.Automatisk oversatt. - Erwin N.August 2016Positive tingDirect access to the lake; relaxed and uncrowdedNegative ting--Relaxed campsite right on the lakeVery relaxed campsite (even at the beginning of August, no more than every second pitch was occupied). When choosing a pitch, you can choose between a beautiful view and direct access to the lake. Sanitary facilities well thought out and kept clean. (Some washing machines were faulty, however.) Perfectly... catered for with a snack bar, small pub and small store including fresh pastries every day. Town center within easy walking distance. Very pleasant operators, consistently friendly staff. You can also tell here that the French Jura seems to be very popular in the Netherlands. The loud entertainment from the neighboring campsite (disco, karaoke, concerts, ...) always stopped reliably at 11 pm, so it wasn't very annoying for us. We will certainly go there again at some point.Automatisk oversatt.
- Uwe B.June 2015Positive tingLake, location, tranquillity, friendlinessNegative tingsomewhat older sanitary facilitiesBeautiful and quiet CP with a great location right on the lakeNice and quiet CP with great location directly on the lake, operators very friendly, sanitary facilities are older but were well cleaned, unfortunately the campers do not always keep it that way, small store, bread service and snack bar with the essentials, but shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity... (about 2 km). The lake is a dream, for swimming or with the dinghy, good that no motorboats are allowed. You can hear the road opposite, but it didn't bother us. Arrival also possible outside reception hours, just choose a pitch, park and check in later, great as we never book in the low season. As everything is just right here, we stay at "La Grisiere" at least once a yearAutomatisk oversatt.
- klaus d.August 2014Positive tingBeautiful pitches by the lake, the site was very quiet Good starting point for hikes.Negative tingthe neighboring square is very loud due to its animation program ( until 23:00Nice place with price pastWe were on this site at the end of August. At this time the site was no longer very busy, but there was still a kiosk for shopping and a snack bar. The staff were very friendly. Sanitary cleanAutomatisk oversatt.
- Ulla S.July 2012A beautifully situated site, run by nice people, visited by many Dutch people, some of the pitches are steeply sloping. Wonderful swimming lake. Unfortunately, the animation program of the neighbouring campsite can be clearly heard in the evening (until 11pm). Close to the village, accessible via a path along the lake.Automatisk oversatt.
