The food is very good, plentiful and reasonably priced.

On the main road after the bridge there are other shops (bakery, groceries)
You can buy bread early in the restaurant on site (no other baked goods).
There were mainly vacationers from Germany, Holland and Austria.
From the square you can also drive to a good winery (Kantina Mani/Mani Winery). There you can drink a good wine and also get snacks. There are also simple motorhome pitches at the winery as an alternative to the campsite.

The restaurant serves bread rolls in the morning and is well frequented by campsite guests in the evening due to its quality. In addition to bikers and 4WD drivers, a large number of motorhome owners gather... here. Individual families and guests with dogs are also welcome.
Mountain bikers can enjoy some gravel tours towards the mountains. Otherwise you are less than 10 km from Shkodra for a sightseeing tour
. The distance is doubled if you want to visit the old bridge and stay off the SH1 if possible.
The old town is surprisingly beautifully renovated with a variety of restaurants. Worthwhile!

Sanitary facilities and the whole site very clean, even in the peak season (mid-August). Access to the lake via a long jetty. Free parasols, sun loungers and hammocks are available on the shore. The restaurant serves various local and international dishes at reasonable prices... (by Western European standards). You can buy home-baked bread in the morning, but breakfast is also available (including omelettes etc.). The staff are very friendly, especially towards children. Small playground with swings, slide and table tennis table available. Good starting point for day trips to the Albanian Alps. Various organized excursions are also offered at the campsite, including to Theth. However, the mini market advertised on the website does not offer much (water, milk, potato chips etc.). Shopping outside or in Shkodra. It is also possible to pay in euros at the campsite, although this is somewhat more expensive than in Lek. Check in was easy, we also had free choice of pitch. Electricity was fine. But there was no sign of Albania in the area. Huge motorhomes with all kinds of accessories were carted there. So that the flair of... the country is completely lost. One night was enough for us. Swimming in the lake was quite nice The food in the restaurant was good and certainly good value for us but far too expensive by Albanian standards. As the owner of course realizes that his resort is well received, he is getting bigger and bigger and growing in 5000m2 steps, but would have to adapt the sanitary facilities accordingly. When we left the high-security resort the next morning at around 8 a.m., we felt better again and had the feeling that we were back in the real Albania.
