- Cornelia S.July 2024Positive ting- pool - beautiful lake - Evening programNegative ting- Pitches too narrow - Water tap next to our pitch was used by other campers for brushing teeth, water playground, washing clothes etc. - Noisy (road, midday rest is not observed)More for families with small childrenWe stayed at Mario Village for a week in July and basically had a wonderful week. The region is great for cycling.
Our son was almost too old for the campsite at 10 - there were hardly any children his age there. Our daughter (7) was very happy with the children's entertainment, the pool and the mini... disco.
For our taste, the campsite was too narrow and far too crowded. The lake is very beautiful, but there is little space to spread out your towel - and the lake is public and very popular on hot days.
We were on pitch 155, the path to the wash house is the furthest distance on the site from here. At our pitch there was a water tap for the campers all around - unfortunately it quickly became a "village fountain" and so people brushed their teeth, washed up, washed clothes and used it as a playground for kids from the whole street. The annoying thing was that our entrance area was regularly flooded at lunchtime.
We found it amusing that a fruit vendor drove his cart across the square every evening selling delicious cherries etc. We wouldn't go there again.
We wouldn't go there again, but it's a good place for families with toddlers and kindergarten children - who would like to be involved in the kids' club and spend the rest of their time at the pool. For this family, the "relax and put your feet up" concept works very well here.
The place is obviously very popular with the Dutch, most of the guests came from this region - we were very pleased about that.Automatisk oversatt. - Kevin K.July 2024Positive tingUncomplicated registration, very good for bikers, mini market, sanitary facilities quickly accessible, cheap, pool area, restaurant great, nearby lake, quiet, clean, friendly service staff.Negative tingNoneExcellent for bikersUncomplicated registration, very good for bikers, mini market, sanitary facilities quickly accessible, cheap, pool area, restaurant great, nearby lake, quiet, clean, friendly service staff.Automatisk oversatt.
- Erik L.June 2024Positive tingVery nice and well-kept campsite. + beautiful pool + Pitch category C very large + children's entertainment + close to the lake + close to restaurants + dog costs 2€ per dayNegative ting- If you stick to all the rules, quite long distances. - Personally, I don't like the wristbands bracelets to indicate that you belong to this campsite. - Departure by 10:00 am too early for campers if you still have to dismantle everything - No poop bag dispensers or general garbage cans to be found on the siteTOP CampsiteSome of the paths are quite long. We had two category C pitches next to the villa, adjacent to category B+ and the sports field. You are not allowed to walk across the sports field with a dog, although this is only indicated from one direction by prohibition signs. As there are only the official paths,... you have to walk very awkwardly along the roads and we experienced more dog walkers than on any other campsite, which was a shame. Even the staff happily walked across our two pitches to take a shortcut.
That was annoying in the crowd. Often no distance was maintained and people walked 20 cm past the breakfast table or the open caravan door.
It would make sense to create small intermediate paths here. The pitches could also be separated by small hedges.Automatisk oversatt. - Sven A.July 2023Positive tingGreat pool with 25 degree warm water, the proximity to the lake, great animation program for children, mini disco and great showsNegative tingNot for usGreat place for familiesGreat family campsite. A really great pool with a children's slide.
Great entertainment program and always cheerful entertainers. Every evening there was a show program on the campsite's own stage. The sanitary facilities were also ok and there is also a children's pool. The lake is about 200 meters away where you can also swim for free...Automatisk oversatt. - Elke L.September 2022Positive tingHeated poolNegative tingOpen sanitary facilities very cold for showering in September. 25€ reservation feeBeautiful campsite with heated poolThe sanitary facilities are open and not heated so it was very cold to shower in September.
25€ reservation fee is overpricedAutomatisk oversatt. - Gerhard M.August 2022Positive tingLocationNegative tingStore too expensive and no selectionGreat place, great locationA very nice place unfortunately without a private beach. However, there was always enough space in the public area. Restaurant was not so good, but there are many very good alternatives along the promenade.Automatisk oversatt.
- Silvester B.July 2022Positive tingVery well-kept complex, clean sanitary facilities, friendly staff, very short walk to the lake, pool (for those who need it)Negative tingSeats very close together, sometimes very tight depending on the size booked.Well-kept place, with a lot of +++ but also -The site is very well maintained and all the sanitary facilities are adequate and well looked after. We were there in the high season and the site was fully booked, so it was sometimes very crowded. Unfortunately, we also have to criticize the price/performance ratio. If you don't need a pool and no entertainment, you have to ask yourself whether €79 per night is still reasonable.Automatisk oversatt.
- Heiko P.June 2022Positive tingThe site is very tidy and the sanitary facilities are always clean and in great condition. The location on the lake is very niceNegative tingnothingStopover June 2022The campsite was recommended to us and we used it as a stopover on the Adriatic. We can only pass on the recommendation, the site is very nice and pleasant due to its manageable size.Automatisk oversatt.
- Betty B.August 2021Positive tingFamily campsite, pool, staff friendly and helpful, surroundingsNegative tingnothingSuper placeSuper facility with a great pool and water slide in a beautiful setting. The sanitary facilities are modern and always very clean! The staff were always friendly and helpful. You can buy fresh bread on site. The lake is very beautiful and also suitable for children. You can rent pedal boats. Simply a great family campsite!Automatisk oversatt.
- Gerd J.August 2021Positive ting- Proximity to the lake - Few dogs - Nice pool with strange opening hours and much too warm water - good TT plates - "proper" and good restaurants nearbyNegative ting- Noise well into the night outside the pitch, especially at weekends: loud mopeds, vespa racing, music, roaring, partying - Pitches small, narrow, close together, claustrophobic conditions - Lots of constant car traffic on site, no curfew at night - Main sanitary building is closed and cleaned in the morning during rush hour - Beach area in poor condition, coarse surface, no sand - "Restaurant" and bar are not recommendable, for **** category an absolute no go - Too expensive overallFour **** ... well, rather not!We were only able to spend the two weeks on site in relative peace and quiet thanks to a last-minute, chargeable upgrade to pitch category C in a cul-de-sac with no through traffic.
Otherwise, the pitches are very small and tightly packed.
You also have to get used to the sound of the children's disco every evening, but then the children are cleared awayAutomatisk oversatt. - Severin H.July 2021Positive tingChild-friendly, beautiful pool, large pitches (category B+)Negative tingNoneBeautiful place with & for childrenNice place with & for children, we found the restaurant a little out of step with the rest.Automatisk oversatt.
- Reiner G.September 2020Positive tingVery quiet, clean CP in a very beautiful areaNegative tingNone at allVery well managed campsiteThis place deserves every star. The location is great (but so are the neighboring pitches) but the friendliness at reception and departure is excellent. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is excellent and the site is generally very well maintained. Fresh bread rolls in the store for breakfast.... The lake is only a few meters away, the water in autumn is of course super warm and crystal clear. If you like cycling, the apple orchards and vineyards are the place to be. We will definitely be back.Automatisk oversatt.

- Mario S.September 2019Positive tingCleanlinessRecommendableVery nicely laid out campsite on the beautiful Lake Caldonazzo! I have never seen such beautiful and well-kept sanitary facilities, absolutely world class! Heated swimming pool and lifeguard available, pitches laid out on grass, some shady, some without shade. Electricity included in the price. Small store with fresh bread without pre-ordering. Hiking and cycling route information available. Great place, nice staff and we would love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.
- Gerd F.September 2019Positive tingFriendly staff, Nice pool, Well-kept grounds, clean sanitary facilitiesNegative tingWLAN could be betterGreat comfortable CP on Lake CaldonazzoWe have been to 2 other campsites on Lake Caldonazzo in previous years, but Camping Mario Village was the most comfortable and we liked it best. With the ACSI card in the low season we had a Bplus pitch. We will be back.....Automatisk oversatt.
- Margit B.August 2019Positive tingCleanliness of the sanitary facilities, friendliness of the staff, top location on the lakeVery nice campsiteCamping Mario Village We were there for a week at the end of August with the AcsI Card and were lucky enough to get a B pitch even without a reservation. At that time, the site was almost exclusively occupied by families with children and dogs, so it was sometimes very lively. Great location on the lake,... very friendly staff at reception, sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day, mini-market on site. There are also two supermarkets in Caldonazzo within easy cycling distance. Pitch guarded by security in the evening/at night. The paths are unfortunately covered with a thick layer of gravel, making cycling or walking with open shoes difficult. You can go for a nice walk along the lake, many restaurants/ice cream parlors within walking distance.Automatisk oversatt.
- Dirk L.August 2019Positive tingSize, tranquillity and above all the locationNegative tingNoneBeautiful placeMario Village is a beautiful little place in Trentino. Nothing is missing here. The site is very clean and well-kept. The location on Lake Caldonazzo is priceless.Automatisk oversatt.
- Cina L.August 2019Positive tingCleanlinessSimply great!Fast and friendly registration. Good large shady pitches. Drinking water and electricity (10Amp) available on the pitch. We were on a Bplus pitch. Modern sanitary building with children's bathroom. Great location for hiking and cycling tours. Restaurant with a good selection. Soccer pitch, new table tennis and great pool area. The pool is great! We will definitely be back.Automatisk oversatt.
- Claus P.July 2019StopoverWe were there again in July 2019, everything was great as usual, but we didn't like the fact that the paths were filled centimeter-high with grit, you could neither cycle nor walk sensibly with open shoes. We were only here for 2 nights, but had a great impression of the place, which has everything you need. Well suited for excursions in the surrounding area, e.g. Levico. Will definitely stop here again.Automatisk oversatt.
