- Bruno B.April 2024Positive ting- good location - easy check in - quietNegative ting- rather pitch characterSuper locationGreat location to visit the historic city of Bruges. 3 km to the market square. Bicycles recommended.
Beautiful location, next to a forest. Ideal for walks with dogs. Dog friendly. Nice sanitary facilities. Super easy online check-in. Paved pitches a little small.
Very quiet site!Automatisk oversatt. - peter k.July 2023Positive tingSee commentNegative tingNothingGreat placeReally great place with self-checking, new and clean facilities, the whole place is newly designed, recommended in the HS reservation because it is usually full from about 2 pm, very quiet location.Automatisk oversatt.
- Miroslav M.May 2023Positive tinggood social services a short walk from public transport calmNegative tingI don't know, everything okPohodaA little further away from the city centre but commutable by public transport or walk.
Camping simple, clean.Automatisk oversatt. - Frank B.April 2023Positive ting-) location -) sanitary facilities -) friendlinessNegative ting-Small and fineThe small and very well-kept campsite is of course first and foremost impressive due to its proximity to Bruges: the city can be easily reached by bike, bus or even on foot.
The site has everything you need: a modern wash house (no more than 2-3 years old) with a perhaps somewhat limited but sufficient... number of showers without shower tokens, a playground, a wheelchair-accessible bathroom, a family bathroom, a recreation room with cooking facilities (and piano!) for campers with tents, free WLAN, a waste water / service station, ... The only thing missing is a small store and a bread roll service, but the proximity to the nearest supermarket makes this perfectly acceptable.
For what is on offer and the all-round very good and well-kept condition, the price is also completely fine. We will definitely be back again.Automatisk oversatt. - Andrea H.October 2022Positive tingQuiet at night, WLAN very good, sanitary building new and clean, hot water via solar thermal energy;Negative tingnone! :)well-kept campsite close to the townLevel pitches, good transport links to the city center (bus) and good shopping facilities within walking distance (no on-site store);
uncomplicated check-in, friendly operators;Automatisk oversatt. - Steffi und Christian L.November 2019Positive tingGood connection by bus or bicycle to the city center. Peace and quietNegative tingA little too expensive. But what is cheap in Bruges?Ideal for a trip to BrugesIt is more of a motorhome site with a camping character. Booking and check-in went smoothly. Sufficiently large pitches. Sanitary facilities are as clean as the guests leave them. Campsite is relatively quiet. Bus stop for line 11 to the center in about 8 minutes on foot. On foot to the center about 20 to 25 minutes. Lidl in about 1500 meters.Automatisk oversatt.
- Barbara M.April 2019Positive tingClose to the city, clean, quiet. Online booking very quick and clear. Check in portal.Negative tingNo possibility to buy bread/food on site.Square close to the cityBeautiful and quiet site 2 km from Bruges city center. Cycle paths well signposted.Automatisk oversatt.
- Brigitte M.September 2018Positive tingShort way to BrugesNegative tingnoneQuiet and centralThe pitch fully corresponds to the description. The sanitary building with 6 showers, toilets and wash cubicles was adequate even when fully occupied. We took the bus to the old town, line 11 is to the right of the square and takes you to the sights of Bruges in 10 minutes. It is advisable to get a 10-ticket... for 16€ (magazines or TABAK LADEN) and the bus driver charges 3€ for a single journey. The check-in is only possible via a machine, reservation recommended, the place is very busy. Wifi is free, also at the machine. It also works perfectly. There is also a drinks machine at the entrance, I don't know about bread rolls, we didn't need any. Lidl and Aldi are very close by, as is a large supermarket. Our stay lasted 4 days, we felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend the place even if it is a bit more expensiveAutomatisk oversatt.
- Ursula R.July 2018Positive tingProximity to Bruges, everything else in the commentaryNegative tingPrice/performance ratioHighly recommended, good for sightseeingWe stayed there for four nights and can only recommend the campsite. We had booked online just one day before. The price in July was €32 per night (2 people, incl. caravan). This is a bit overpriced, but apparently there is no alternative because of the location. The booking (you receive a reservation... number) and check-in went smoothly. The entire amount is debited immediately upon booking. If a pitch is free, you can still make a subsequent booking. There was electricity at every pitch. The sanitary facilities are mostly clean, although they could be cleaned more often as there is a lot of pitch turnover on this campsite. Showers are included in the price and are not limited in time. Lots of international tourists. You can get some information material at reception. W-Lan is available free of charge throughout the site; the PIN can be obtained from a machine at reception. You get a ticket to drive in and also to drive out. We hardly ever used the car during the four days. Bus number 11, which is within walking distance, runs every 20 minutes to the city center of Bruges. Bus tickets are available in advance at the petrol station (e.g. 10 trips for €16). We also took the train from Bruges to Zeebrugge (€6.50 per senior for a return trip)! From Knokke on the coast, a streetcar runs all along the coast. We traveled from Zeebrugge to Ostend and back. You can get on and off anywhere. We also took the train to Ghent, which took about 30 minutes. Cost: €6.50 per senior citizen there and back! All in all, a very nice and interesting, albeit exhausting, stay. The campsite is highly recommended.Automatisk oversatt.
- Chris A.May 2018Positive tingGreat location, quiet and yet close to the centerGladly againThe site is located approx. 10-12 minutes by bike from the old town in a very quiet location next to a wooded area. There is a swimming pool and a wooded area with a fitness trail nearby. There are no bread rolls or supermarkets on site, but there is a vending machine in the common room with hot drinks.... Lidl, Aldi can be reached by bike in 5 minutes as well as another supermarket which is probably a similar distance away, but we didn't go there. There is a bus stop near the campsite from which a bus runs regularly to the old town, but we didn't use it as we had bikes with us. We went to Bruges spontaneously on the Wednesday before a long weekend and were accommodated for the 1st night on a pitch without electricity and rebooked the next day on a part of the tent meadow with electricity. The self-check-in worked without any problems and the reception was always friendly. The sanitary facilities were clean, but could be tight when fully occupied, as could the washing-up area.Automatisk oversatt.
- Dagmar J.September 2016Positive tingThe proximity to BrugesNegative tingnoneIdeal for a visit to BrugesIt is essential to reserve a pitch and this campsite is well maintained. Bruges is easy to reach by car or bicycle and shopping facilities are easily and quickly accessible outside the campsite. However, you should know that the registration is fully automated (no staff).Automatisk oversatt.
- Damo B.August 2016Positive tingGood facilities and locatioinExcellent wash facilitiesGreat location WCs and wash facilities. Self check in etc was good yet not personal.
- heinz dieter moll m.December 2015ideal for visiting the city by bikefriendly, beautifully situated international campsite.a few minutes by bike to the city center.very clean sanitary facilities.must be remembered.Automatisk oversatt.
- Walter C.September 2015Positive tingLocation for visiting Bruges.Negative tingPrice, sanitary too scarce.Good for city visitsNot a large site in the town in the middle of a quiet residential area, approx. 3 km from the old town center. Pitches of varying sizes, paved pitches for motorhomes very small for a campsite, but still the same price. Unpaved paths, therefore many large puddles when it rains. Sanitary facilities too... small and - although fairly new - relatively basic. If several people are showering, hot water is a matter of luck. V+E for motorhomes o.k. Few water taps. No bread roll or other service. The price of just under € 29 for 2 people in the off-season is expensive for this site, but is probably due to the lack of alternatives. You have to pay in advance, and the full amount is due immediately upon reservation.Automatisk oversatt.
- Andreas und Petra S.June 2015ExpedientThe level grass pitches are occupied early. We arrived shortly after 1 pm on a Saturday and just managed to get the last camper van pitch. Very friendly reception and good sanitary facilities. It is too far to walk to visit Bruges, but there are good roadside parking spaces wide enough for motorhomes at the following coordinates = 51°12.274'N , 3°14.256'E.Automatisk oversatt.
- Josef N.June 2015Short trip to BrugesNice campsite Everything clean, pitches large enough with 8x10 meters. Bruges is 10 minutes away by bike. I can't understand some of the comments.Automatisk oversatt.
- wolfgang s.September 2014ARRIVE EARLY !!!!!!Ideal place for the Bruges visitor ..... The place is not particularly large (but the individual pitches are) therefore my recommendation !!! Arrive at the latest in the early afternoon (we were there around 11am and there were only a few places available) To the place: There is nothing to complain about !!!Automatisk oversatt.
- Antonio F.July 2014Positive tingQuiet and convenient for visits to Brugge.Negative tingNone.Nice little campsite not far from BruggeThe campsite is very simple but well maintained. For visits to Brugge convenient bus. Toilets in good order. Wi-fi for a fee.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Camping Memling January 18, 20162015: Wi-fi is free.
Wi-fi is free.Automatisk oversatt. - Steffen H.June 2014Positive tingVery good location for sightseeing, clean sanitary facilities, washing machine + tumble dryer.Negative tingOdor in the sanitary building.Good starting point for sightseeing in Bruges/BruggeThe reception at the site was simple but nice. The pitch was good: meadow. The size is ideal. You meet campers from all over the world here. The sanitary facilities were clean. But unfortunately there is a strong odor in the air inside the sanitary building. There are plenty of toilets, showers and cabins... with washbasins. We never had to wait. A washing machine (8x0.50€) and a tumble dryer (?€) are available and can be used for a fee. The location of the campsite is central and ideal for excursions into the city of Bruges. It is also the only campsite in Bruges. There is a bus stop approx. 300m from the campsite. The bus takes you to the city center in a short time. Shopping facilities can be found approx. 600m away. There is also a restaurant of a well-known fast food chain.Automatisk oversatt.
- Оксана Р.May 2014Positive tingClose to Bruges. Clean.Excellent combination of price and qualityNegative tingwe didn't have time to notice, we were only there for two days.Very much enjoyed. Close to BrugesIf you are vacationing in a chalet, then don't forget to bring your own bedding. Children must be supervised at all times, as only a barrier separates you from the road.Automatisk oversatt.
