- Christian R.September 2017Positive tingViewNegative tingSanitary facilities are clean, but very basic.sooo beautifulwho doesn't feel comfortable and relaxed here, but at the same time eager to explore nature... A cappuchi here in the morning, a piece of cheese, some bread, a view of the dramatic scenery. Dreamlike.Automatisk oversatt.
- Paolo F.August 2016Positive tingIn the extraordinary beauty of the Veny Valley. Site beauty and atmosphere.Negative tingOld-fashioned facilities and conception, little comfort. Some rigidities. Difficult access with caravans if there is traffic.Old-fashioned alpine campingA typically alpine campsite, also with charm with many typical and old-fashioned elements, on a beautiful meadow dotted with large granite blocks, all in an extraordinarily beautiful setting. The grilling area, the climbing wall, the bungalow made out of an old alpine bivouac, and many other things combine... to form a beautiful atmosphere. However, in terms of cold quality, the infrastructure and sanitation are inferior to what can be found at other campgrounds, even remaining on the 2-star level in the Aosta Valley. Compared to the more advanced and refined alpine campgrounds, the difference is abysmal. The helpfulness and kindness are good as far as the staff employees and younger guys are concerned. We did find some unnecessary rigidity and complication with some things, from the assigned location, to the system for showers, to the system for reserving take-out meals. The charm and beauty of this place is priceless, but a place of this beauty would deserve a facility of a higher standard.Automatisk oversatt.
- Nina S.August 2013Positive tingQuiet, clean, very friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, sociableNegative tingFrench. Standing toilets predominateBeautifully situated with a view of Monte Bianco, a little out of the wayVery nicely located CP under nice management. We were there in August with our tent. We hadn't made a reservation and just managed to get a pitch. August is the main tourist season for Italians, so be sure to book in advance. There is a small store where you can get the essentials, including fresh fruit... and vegetables. The prices are ok. There is also a lounge where drinks and snacks are available. There is also a computer with internet access and free WiFi for your own devices. The operators are patient in providing information about leisure activities in the surrounding area and help with tour planning. There are many hiking opportunities from the campsite. The nearest supermarket is about 10 minutes away by car. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean. There are several sanitary blocks on the site which vary somewhat in quality. Unfortunately, French toilets still predominate. There are also normal toilets, but not as many. There is a small pool (more like a large paddling pool) for the children and as far as we have seen there are also leisure activities for children. There are covered barbecue facilities all over the site, which everyone can use, as well as a large barbecue hut with several barbecues and a kitchen and tables and benches, where it is very sociable in the evenings. Some people even bring their own instruments. The site is very quiet, but a bit remote.Automatisk oversatt.
