- Elisabeth K.august 2016Positive tingvery friendly and German-speaking reception, nice children's playground in the middle of the campsiteNegative tingDust and sand everywhere because of the extreme windOvernight stay in the direction of SpainWe only used this place for a stopover after Spain. We made a reservation in advance and were greeted in a very friendly and German-speaking manner. The pitch was the size we wanted and close to the sanitary facilities. They were clean and tidy. However, there was no toilet paper or soap. As it was very... windy and very dusty during our stay, we couldn't open any windows on the caravan. There was a snack bar on site, but we didn't visit it. Conclusion: Sufficient for an overnight stay.Automatisk oversatt.
- Achim S.mai 2014Positive tingQuiet and inexpensive near the sea, beautifully laid out, sanitary facilities better than usual in France, WiFi free of charge (limited range)Negative tingBranches are quite low here and there, with a camper van you have to be careful on the road and on the parking spacesVery nice little place, but the sea is far away (without a car or scooter)."Camping Le Domaine de Louvarel" A very nicely laid out, relatively small campsite (100 pitches) owned by the municipality. Lots of flowers. The receptionist speaks German and is very friendly. With an ACSI card, the site is very reasonably priced, which is why there are many long-term vacationers here... (of course, many Dutch people). Two toilet blocks with seated toilets, separate for D+H, only single wash cubicles. WiFi free of charge, but not very extensive. Lots of cycle tourists, a long-distance cycle path runs right past the campsite. There is a small restaurant, nicely laid out. The pitches are the size of caravans, i.e. the site is not suitable for large vessels, partly due to low branches, taller motorhomes need to be careful. Electricity is 16A! The small village of Loupian is also very nice and within walking distance, with small cafés. Unfortunately, the old church was not open. We stayed there as an overnight stop, but it was an excellent choice.Automatisk oversatt.
- maurizio m.august 2013Very nice and quiet campsite, surrounded by vineyards. With small restaurant attached and possibility to buy mussels and oysters at very good prices. The nearby village is tiny but quaint. Not far from Sète and Adge. Highly recommended also for the price.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jörgjuni 2011Place is 200 m from the village with pizzeria, Maison de la Presse (tobacco), restaurant, bar, 2 bakeries and small store. The supermarket in Meze is 2 km away. Directly at the soccer field (Pentecost always 3 days youth soccer tournament with corresponding noise until late at night). Cycle path on former... railroad line from Sete to Meze (8 km long) leads past the site. The road to Loupian runs past the campsite, but is only really disturbing on the pitches directly on the road, otherwise quiet. Bar with restaurant and boules court on the campsite. Plots approx. 100 m² separated by high lilac hedges and trees. Charcoal barbecue only allowed at the barbecue area (next to the garbage dump).Automatisk oversatt.
- Heidi R.september 2010This wonderfully quiet site was a discovery for us, as we are big oyster fans and could get to the huts around the Bassin de Thau in a flash. The site was functional and immaculately clean, the pitches spacious and separated by bushes and trees. Basic supplies are available on foot in the neighboring... Loupian. If you want to enjoy a few days of peace and quiet in beautiful natural surroundings and are not fixated on beach life, this is the place for you - even with bicycles. And all this for two people, a motorhome and Acsi-Card for 11 euros per day in September!Automatisk oversatt.
