Great campground for sports and relaxation
I stayed in August for an international kayaking meeting and appreciated the organization and tidiness of the campground. Comfortable pitches and facilities kept well cleaned. Excellent store that provides fresh food of the day. Ideal for a vacation of relaxation and sports.

The site consists of a parceled-out section with shady old trees and a larger, largely unshaded section. The latter tends to get dusty in dry summers. There is a row of parceled-out pitches right next to the bathing lake, for which a top surcharge is charged. The facilities are fine. The catering on... the site does not go beyond the level of better chip shops. The small store stocks everything you need at the usual prices and is supplied fresh every morning with really good quality bread, croissants and cookies from a local baker. The bathing lake with pedal boat hire has two child-friendly shallow beaches, but is quite cool depending on the weather, as it is partly fed by the River Durance (NOT a bathing river!) next to the site. Because of its favorable location, the site is used by many whitewater paddlers, especially in summer. After five stays there so far, I always like to stay there.
