- david u.July 2020Positive tingPlenty of space, nice arrangement of seats, pleasant staff, good foodNegative tingThe store doesn't stock enough basic foodstuffs.Beautiful campingBeautifully situated campsite, ideal for families with children up to the age of 10 or for couples. The caravans and tents are arranged in a semi-circle, creating space in the middle for playing, relaxing or becoming a meeting zone. The food in the restaurant in the evening is very good, the chef knows... his trade. There are a lot of Dutch people on the site, the site itself is run by a Dutch couple. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. You can go hiking in the surrounding area or visit the small towns. We had stocked up on enough food before we arrived, but we would have liked the range to have been larger.
We will certainly be back, especially in the high season the campsite can really come into its own. The sports fields are well maintained and there are two pools.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Camping Naturiste Domaine de la Gagere November 14, 2024Dear David, thank you for your very positif review! It's great to hear you appreciate our fantastic campsite! Hope to see you back! Best wishes, Floor - Steffi und Christian L.September 2014Pure tranquillityWe can wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviewers. We found the food in the restaurant a little too expensive. But that's just the way it is in France. We also "only" used the place as a stopover and were delighted. We are considering booking rental accommodation there next year to explore the area on our motorcycles. It's a great area for moor bikers with great roads and bends and almost car-free roads.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Camping Naturiste Domaine de la Gagere November 14, 2024Dear Steffi and Christian, Ia m sorry to hear you found the restaurant a little expensive. Please note that we cook everything ourselves and use fresh and local products. We hope to see you again to appreciate our great campsite! Best wishes, Floor
- Wolfgang R.May 2013We only stay here twice a year when passing through on our way to the south of France (near Biarritz), but we are simply fascinated by the place. The journey is a bit adventurous, but once you arrive you are fully compensated. The welcome alone is always very warm; you feel like you're part of the family.... And this friendliness runs like a red thread through everything. A small restaurant invites you to a nice meal, a small store offers the essentials and even the pool is always an experience. For longer stays, the nearest "little town" is not far away. There is also a supermarket at the entrance to the village. A beautiful view of the expansive valley invites you to daydream, especially at sunset. However, in our opinion, this place is not for people looking for action; it's more for relaxing. All in all: a place for us to feel good, relax and enjoy. Elke and Wolfgang from GermanyAutomatisk oversatt.
