"Decent place for a few days of sightseeing; not really suitable for a beach vacation - I reserved the space in advance via the Internet. The communication worked very well and everything went smoothly. We also received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose the best pitch for us from a number of pitches. The staff were very helpful and one employee even helped us maneuver without being asked. Unfortunately, we have experienced this very differently at other campsites. The pitches: these are flat, quite large and quite shady thanks to the mat roofs. There are water points all over the site. Sanitary facilities: the site was quite empty and yet there were always waiting times. For me, the reason: the layout is anything but ideal. Toilets are combined with washbasins. There is no separate building with washbasins. This means that people blow-drying their hair in the "bathroom" block other guests who want to go to the toilet and vice versa. Doesn't seem very well thought out to me. The facilities are clean, but some of them are very old. Infrastructure: small swimming pool (swimming cap compulsory!) is available and well used. There is a small market for the essentials. Restaurant? Not available. Shopping facilities nearby? Also not available. So you have to use your car to go shopping and drive to Monopoli. The beach: you can climb between a few ruins and go into the water there. It's not really suitable for a relaxing beach vacation. The campsite advertises that there is a sandy beach just a few meters away. On the one hand, it is very small and is therefore likely to be more than full in high season. And: it doesn't currently exist. It is cracked because there has obviously been a rockfall. The remains of a half-destroyed restaurant can still be seen. Conclusion: the site is absolutely okay for visiting a few places worth seeing nearby. It is not ideal. But: it is really quite reasonably priced by Italian standards!

"nearby rocky beach - Large site with many permanent campers and rental bungalows; mostly sufficiently large, semi-shaded pitches; separated from the rocky beach by a road; sanitary facilities ok and clean - hot showers with token, hot water also for washing up; 6 A electrics; in the low season the site restaurant is closed - a restaurant can be found approx. 1 km away;

"this campsite does not have 4 stars - Camping Atlandtide is not directly by the sea, you have to cross a road to get to the cliffs. Very picturesque, but it takes some getting used to for swimming. The very simple sanitary facilities are relatively clean, at least the showers which are operated with Gettoni. The place has nice shady and quite large pitches, on the "parking lot" where the cars are usually parked in summer, it looks more like a scrap yard. There is no restaurant in the low season. You can order bread rolls at the campsite and most of the time you can order in advance. The mini market is only open to a limited extent. When there are noisy campers on the pitch, unfortunately, there is very little peace and quiet, so you still have to put up with loud music at 0:30. There is hardly any opportunity for dogs to do their business. The access to the camping area is also somewhat difficult, but there is a second gate that is opened if necessary (large motorhomes).

"Simple campsite that convinces over its entire length - At first glance, the campsite doesn't necessarily look that good, but: If you value well-kept and spacious sanitary facilities with normal toilets (and not squat toilets), this site is highly recommended! The paved pitches are also impressive (of course there are also pitches in the countryside)! You don't have that Mediterranean feeling, but you do have clean shoes and a clean motorhome when it rains!

"Beautifully situated site for caravans, good base for exploring Puglia - The pitch is cozy and with enough space for the caravan with its own washbasin and simple toilets/shower. (but of course without toilet seats or toilet paper! just Italian). A very good starting point for getting to know Puglia. But unfortunately due to a hell of a noise by an idiotic entertainment troupe (suitable for 4-6 year old children) which is organized from about 22:00 to about 1 am daily. Even attempts to turn down the volume or even limit the noise were met with a pitying smile from the owner. "It's a show and you're on vacation!"

Profil

The Residence Camping Atlantide is a modern structure on the see, 5 kilometers away from the big city of Monopoli (Ba). It founds in the heart of Apulia near Alberobello with his Trulli, Castellana Grotte with beautiful graves, Zoosafari in …Fasano, the white cities Ostuni, Cisternino and Locorotondo, Martina Franca with baroque churches, Polignano with houses on the sea. So the environment is ideal for tourist who are looking for a sea holiday, but it also constitutes good point of departure to visit the whole region. The Residence Atlantide has bungalows with all comforts, patio for outdoor living, garden and private parking. The camp offers wide pitches nicely shaded, equipped with private sink and electrical connections (some of them also have a private bathroom). There are two beautiful swimming-pools, one for children, with a bar, as well as an area with baby park, mini club with entertainment, playgrounds, garden, market and laundry facilities. The animal friends can come on holiday with you, they are allowed with vaccination. Also, the staff at reception will be happy to provide lots of useful information to customers to spend an unforgettable holiday.
