"Beautiful place near the sea - As already mentioned several times, the pitches under the pine trees are difficult to access. Without a "mover", five people were needed. Otherwise, the pitches are spacious and shady. The beach can be reached via a paved path. It is next to a freshwater lagoon, which sometimes gave off an unpleasant smell. Sea with lots of seaweed in some areas. Otherwise very beautiful. Restaurant with delicious pasta dishes and good pizza. Store was still well stocked at the beginning of September. Sanitary facilities were clean. What we noticed negatively in the spacious showers: The shower water does not drain and runs through all the showers, as the drainage channel is too high. We found this unpleasant...

"bad camping - The pine forest is not secured, large pine cones fall from the very tall pines and are quite dangerous. During our stay with the camper in one of the pitches two pine cones falling destroyed the rear porthole of the caper and a cabinet. Most seriously, not only were we not compensated for the incident, despite the fact that it was not a fortuitous event, since securing the trees is their responsibility, but we were taken for a ride since the manager who initially said he would take care of the compensation did not contact his insurance company and never answered emails and phone calls. In addition to this mishap, the bathrooms are small and dirty, the entertainment is absent, and it is particularly boring to stay in the evenings especially with children; we also found the pool always dirty with foliage and hair. A final negative observation is the price which is too high for the services the campground offers.

"Pleasant place on a beautiful beach - After arriving in Golfo Aranci on the night ferry from Livorno, we had actually had our eye on another campsite close to Selema. Unfortunately, this was located directly on a busy country road and we spontaneously decided on the Selema, which was our second choice, as it was also recommended to us in a Sardinia Facebook group. The reception was very friendly. We were able to choose between three pitches, all three of which were a little tiny even for a VW California. The location under the dense pine trees proved to be quite pleasant in the heat, but it was also a little dark. What we did find a little unpleasant was that the site was very noisy. We also didn't like the many flies that attacked us during the day, which were then replaced by mosquitoes in the evening. On a positive note, the sanitary facilities were very nice. Not a luxury model, but everything necessary was there and the cleanliness was perfect. The beach was also very nice. Of all the places we visited in Sardinia, it had the most beautiful sand. The pool was quite nice, but swimming caps were compulsory here too, so swimming is not really fun. However, you don't really need the pool as it's only a 5-minute walk to the sea. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. You can eat well here for normal Sardinian prices. The billing at reception on our departure was a bit adventurous. At first a lot was added on, then ultimately deducted again with a discount and was difficult to understand. In the end, we paid almost 60 euros per night for a camper van with 2 adults and 2 children. But you have to expect that during the season.

"Well-run campsite on a dream beach - The campsite is located in a dense, shady pine forest near a white dream beach, when there is no seaweed. Good restaurant at moderate prices. Clean and well-kept sanitary facilities. For large caravans and motorhomes it is a bit tight in the dense pine forest. Ideal for tents, VW buses and compact camper vans

The village campsite Selema is situated in a wonderful sheltered pine tree forest, along the sweet dunes of the Santa Lucia di Siniscola beach. Small fishing village of the oriental coast of Sardinia, you will find a nice climate, with …beautiful landscapes and villages all around. Just a perfect place to spend your holidays from May to October.
