"Camping not for those seeking peace and quiet - Tenero has many large campsites, all of which have 5 stars. However, the resort itself is very noisy and not recommended for those seeking peace and quiet. The infrastructure of Camping Tamaro Resort is fine, it has enough large pitches even for larger motorhomes, but in many cases the pitches are not level and you can't get the motorhome into a level position without chocks or jacks. The mini-market only has a minimal range and the fruit and vegetables are not fresh. The swimming pool does not belong to Camping Tamaro Resort, but is the public swimming pool in Tenero. Many locals come here and there is always music playing. A 5 star campsite should actually have its own swimming pool.

"Used to be a nice campsite - Price-performance ratio is no longer right at all. Unkempt toilets, hot water only works partially, plus unbelievable technical noise at night from the neighboring Lido.

"A beautiful campsite with one major drawback - Only the gentleman who apparently runs the small store is a pitiable person in many respects. Apparently his aim is to annoy every guest, people who are here more often said that this has been the case for a long time(?). I will gladly visit the store outside the campsite every morning.

"There's too much dog poo on the sunbathing lawn in front of the lake. - Toilets are clean, the pitches are large enough for larger motorhomes. Many trees should be cut back so that the branches don't get on the motorhome, this is really annoying in wind and thunderstorms. I can do without a campsite like this. Prices in the rest. too overpriced. There is too much dog poo on the sunbathing lawn in front of the lake. There are too many young people by the swimming pool who have no sense of decency. Owner sells himself for a fool. Anyone who lets dogs on a terrace of a rest. has forgotten that camping is supposed to have a dog ban. The shower should also be renewed, whoever makes a drain in the middle has not thought about it. The water in the shower always runs back into the changing area, you can't put a towel on the floor.

"No 2nd time - There are much nicer and cheaper campsites nearby than this one. Take the camping lido next door do jiet difficult and are friendly. Can one still learn something I would say

Welcome to the Camping Tamaro Resort at the edge of Lago Maggiore near Locarno. Our five stars are: family business, a dynamic team, a serene environment, business policies, respect for the environment as well as modern, sprawling and clean newly …refurbished facilities (2019) with heated showers. A peaceful beach, a wonderful lawn along the lake and big plots up to 154 m2 create an ideal environment for your holidays. All pitches have electricity and drinking water, some with drains and satellite TV. Bungalows first class to rent. At Camping Tamaro Resort you can spend unforgettable, relaxing days in brand-new superior bungalows (as of 2020 season, 16 new bungalows). These are very elegant structures, equipped with all the comforts: neutral colors, a unique atmosphere, walls and floors tone-on-tone, in short a very dreamlike ambience for families with higher demands. Each bungalow has a kitchenette with fridge and dishes (common kitchen equipment), two to three bedrooms, one to two bathrooms with shower, satellite TV, WiFi, heating and air conditioning. Bed linen and towels are included in the rental price. Guests can enjoy the picturesque surroundings from the covered veranda with table and deck chairs in peace and quiet. Depending on the model of the bungalow can be up to max. 5-6 people. Public transport in the whole Ticino and Public Wireless LAN Hotspot offered. Diverse leisure and entertainment.
