We received a friendly welcome. You can drive in and out at any time during the day. We were allowed to choose a pitch. The pitches are clearly marked by small posts and are really very spacious. There are shady pitches and some without trees.
The sanitary... facilities are not separated (men/women). Unfortunately, the toilets are open at the bottom, so you can hear what the person next door is doing. But toilets and showers are separate. There are even showers with washbasins in them, but there are still people brushing their teeth in front of the toilets. The water is always hot.
Baguettes are available to order at reception.
After Blois, the cycle path runs directly along the Loire.
There are several castles to visit nearby.

Public swimming pool about 500 meters away can be used free of charge on presentation of the bill. Great location, not too far from the highway, right on the Loire, large pitches, easy to access with a caravan. The burgers at the snack station on the campsite are excellent. We made a quick detour to Blois to visit the castle. Definitely worth it! Maybe plan an extra day for other castles. Gladly again anytime!

Directly on the Loire, very nice to see the castles.NiceWe stopped off at this campsite for an overnight stay on our journey to the Atlantic coast. It was a good choice. The campsite is easily accessible and not too far from the highway. We received a very warm welcome and were allowed to choose our own pitch. We were able to order baguettes for breakfast,... which we were able to pick up the next morning. The wash house is new and very well maintained. The site is located... quite outside, almost on a 'green field'. It's quite a distance to Blois, we didn't test how long it would take to get there by bike. There is only one sanitary building, which was clean and ok, but I don't want to imagine what the situation is like when the campsite is full (it was only 20% full for us). We were able to walk our dog directly from the campsite to the Loire, which we and the dog really enjoyed. We would choose this campsite again for a stopover.Automatisk oversatt.
