quite good place with little flair, narrow cells, small service, no desire to repeat the experienceAutomatisk oversatt. - Nadine a.July 2022Positive tingVery quiet place despite full occupancy. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable. Sanitary always clean. Outdoor sink for washing up. Good restaurant.Negative tingWash house closed for a very long time on some days due to cleaning. Toilet sometimes not usable for over two hours.Super place in beautiful surroundingsWe had a great stay on the pitch. The reception was super friendly, the site was extremely well maintained and clean. The site is divided into zones, so to speak, with chalets at the front and tourist pitches for camping at the back. There is a great entertainment program for children during the high... season.
The campsite is actually only separated from the beach by the cycle path and the dunes. The only "disadvantage", which has nothing to do with the campsite, is the really steep staircase leading up the dunes.
There is artificial turf on some of the pitches. Contrary to our expectations, we found this very pleasant. The supermarket on site is well stocked, although as usual at higher prices than outside.
We really liked it and will be back.Automatisk oversatt. - Anke O.July 2021Positive tingLocation, cleanliness, animation - simply everything!Negative tingNoneAlways beautifulWe are here for the 5th time in a row and it's always great! There's something new almost every year, sometimes new chalets are built, then more comfort+ pitches are built and now the preparatory work is underway - probably for a sports hall!
As our son knows his way around here, the vacation begins for us parents as soon as we drive onto our plot 😁.
For families: 👍👍👍👍Automatisk oversatt. - Thomas D.August 2020Positive tingLocation of the campsite, friendly and helpful staff, shopping facilities directly on the campsiteNegative tingWe cannot see any disadvantagesVery nice placeYou get a positive impression as soon as you arrive. Check-in is completely uncomplicated and smooth. The staff are super friendly! The site is well looked after and you feel comfortable and welcome everywhere. Just cross the dunes and you're on the beach. Everything is just great!Automatisk oversatt.
- Uschi S.May 2020Positive tingPitches with private sanitary facilities Restaurant, snack bar, supermarket on siteNegative tingAccess to the sea only via a steep staircase, nearest access for baby carriages and wheelchairs approx. 30 minutes' walk away. No free rebooking possible.Beautiful campsite by the seaA beautiful campsite surrounded by small woods and the sea.
Wonderful paths invite you to go walking and cycling.
The pitches are equipped with electricity and water, some with private sanitary facilities.
The Jumbo and a small village are about 30 minutes' walk away.Automatisk oversatt. - Elke J.October 2019Positive tingCleanliness, quiet, location directly behind the dunes, close to Zoutelande and VlissingenNegative tingNoneA beautifully landscaped site behind the dunesWe stayed at this campsite for 5 days at the beginning of October. We liked it straight away. Everything was very clean and well-kept. Large pitches, the restaurant is highly recommended, a well-stocked small supermarket, right on the cycle path. The stairs to the beach are steep but you are rewarded with a great view. Pure relaxation! We would love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.
- Günni C.September 2019Positive tingCleanliness, large pitches, WLAN and peace and quiet, well-kept grounds. NO DOGSNegative tingSanitary capacity a little too littleBeautiful even without dogsReception very friendly and helpful. Sanitary clean and modern. Unfortunately only 4 toilets, risk of congestion in the morning. With 2 wash cabins a bit tight. Spacious pitches with supply and waste water. Well protected from the North Sea wind by hedges. Restaurant very good and tasty, prices normal, staff extremely friendly. Suitable for cycling tours, beach can only be reached via 170 dyke steps.Automatisk oversatt.
- Sascha H.July 2019Positive tingClean, quiet, close to the beach, private sanitary facilities bookable.Negative tingSteep stairs to/from the beachClass for relaxation and recreationNo dogs allowed, great complex, well maintained, steep stairs to/from the beach. Nothing for people with walking difficulties. Great attention is paid to cleanliness and tidiness. Very quiet place despite families with children.Automatisk oversatt.
- Daniel H.July 2018Positive ting-very clean and well maintained -Middelburg and Vlissingen can be reached via great cycle paths -top for children -well-stocked supermarketNegative ting-Way to the beach over high dune only via stairs -showers cost extra and with annoying chip -no village in the immediate vicinity -Beautiful place by the seaWe were at Camping Valkenisse in the high season. The site is beautifully laid out, very well maintained and well planted. There is children's play equipment all over the site, which is especially great for the little ones. There is also a large playground, an indoor playground and a small "zoo". Of... course, there are some small negative points here too. You need a chip to shower, which costs a deposit and you are charged separately for showering at the end. If you want to shower with several people at the same time, you have to rent several chips. Unfortunately, access to the beach is only possible via a steep flight of steps, which means you can't get to the beach with a baby carriage or baby carriage.Automatisk oversatt.
- annett W.July 2018Positive tinglots of play options for kids clean beautifully laid out property close to the beach topNegative tingfirst apartment restaurant closedVacation 2018A very nice place for a vacation with children. The kids are offered a lot and have a lot of fun. All together great facilities and very clean. Also loved the children's pool. We had a super nice vacation for the price-performance ratio but unfortunately too short.Automatisk oversatt.
- Alexandra B.June 2018Positive tingVery clean, friendly, quiet, dogs not allowedNegative tingnoneWe will be backVery nice and clean place. The staff are very friendly. For inexperienced campers, the caravan is also put on the pitch by the boss with the tractor and also driven out again. We had a Comfort+ pitch. It was really great. Pitch 100 square meters, car separate. The highlight was a private bathroom with shower and washbasin. A sink outside. There is also a supermarket with local prices.Automatisk oversatt.
- Hans-Jürgen S.April 2018Positive tingDirectly behind the dunes, extensive supermarket, Reduction per ACSI.Negative tingno free WLANRecommended campsiteBeautiful CP directly behind the dunes. Friendly welcome, pitch could be chosen. Nice and clean sanitary facilities. Water, waste water and cable connection (ARD, ZDF and WDR) on site.Automatisk oversatt.
- Thomas M.July 2017Positive tingDirectly by the sea Very well maintained Large playground with petting zoo Friendly staff Rich offer in the supermarketNegative tingNo swimming poolSuper nice campsiteWe stayed at the campsite for 3 weeks. The Comfort plus pitch is only recommended because you have your own bathroom. The location is perfect, just behind the dunes. A path leads directly from the campsite over the dunes, where you can enjoy the sea and the beach bar. The restaurant had good food and... the supermarket had everything you need. Unfortunately, we didn't like the restaurant near the dunes. The neighboring village of Zoutelande is very nice, we enjoyed going to the weekly market on Tuesday. There are also lots of other things to do. We liked it so much that we booked another 3 weeks for next year.Automatisk oversatt.
- Nadine D.June 2017Positive ting- huge playground for all ages, right next to the restaurant - Indoor playground - quiet despite many childrenNegative ting- very steep, high dune to the beach and long paths through large campsite - Showers cost extra - Restaurant relatively expensiveGiant Aareal, everything there, beach in 10min walking distanceIdeal for beach vacationers who want to have everything on site. You don't have to leave the campsite (there's not much around it either).Automatisk oversatt.
- Torsten S.April 2017Positive tingTHE CLEANLINESS The location The peace and quiet A paradise for childrenNegative tingIs there noVery well-kept placeWe had booked rental accommodation for a few days over Easter. Everything went smoothly and we received a very friendly welcome at reception. The Zeemeeuw rental accommodation was only newly built in 2017, so everything was absolutely top-notch and unfamiliar. The only thing we could complain about was... the equipment (no sharp carving knives available), but you get an inventory plan when you book, so this point is not applicable. So, a tip--pay attention to the inventory plan. The location could hardly be better, directly behind the dunes. Depending on the pitch, you can be at the sea in a few minutes. Just up and down the stairs. Zoutelande is a 10-15 minute walk away, 5 minutes by bike. There is everything you need, restaurants, ice cream parlor, supermarket, souvenirs. There is also a small supermarket on the campsite itself for your daily needs, although it is a little more expensive than outside, but very well stocked. There is also a snack bar - which we didn't use - and a restaurant - the menu here could be a bit more extensive and cheaper, but you know that the Netherlands isn't exactly known for its culinary highlights. So only conditionally recommended. For the children there is a large playground - very nicely laid out, as well as an indoor play paradise - also very nice. We were particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the campsite. Everything is really spotless and very well maintained. We would definitely choose this campsite again.Automatisk oversatt.
- Holger/ Judith B.September 2016Positive tingPeace and quiet, cleanliness,Negative tingNoneSuper campsiteWe spent 14 days on a Compfort Plus pitch with Acsi Card a super great and inexpensive vacation, everything was great all around, we will definitely come back again.Automatisk oversatt.
- Thorsten K.September 2015Positive tingLocation, playground, cleanliness.Negative tingRestaurant was only partially convincing.Beautiful place in a great locationWe had a comfort + pitch with our own small sanitary for 5 days. Sanitary was clean and new. Pitch large enough with electricity and cable TV (3 German channels). Great big playground for our 3-year-old daughter, we visited the adjoining restaurant twice with mixed experiences - there is really room... for improvement here, e.g. with the rump steak ;) Supermarket well stocked, reasonable prices. The camp is outstanding, right in front of the (very high) dunes. The stairs up and down keep you fit :) All in all, a nice place and a good starting point for parents with kids.Automatisk oversatt.
- Daniel S.August 2015Positive tingIndoor playground in bad weather.Negative tingNone foundBeautiful camingWe went camping with our 3 year old son for 4 days with our tent. We think that the campsite is just right for this age, there are lots of swings, seesaws, slides and sandpits scattered around the site. A large, very nice playground with climbing tower and slide, pirate ship with water pump, huge bouncy... cushion and a rope slide. The playground is adjacent to a restaurant and a snack bar, where you can always keep an eye on your kids. The supermarket is well run, the prices are also ok, we were mostly in the village of Biggekerke where there is a Spar in the pedestrian zone and a new supermarket at the end of the village towards Westkapelle. The showers were always clean and were cleaned several times a day. The new shower house offers washbasins of different heights in the children's area, for smaller and larger children, two showers, two bathtubs, two toilets and a changing area. There is also a family shower. We were camping during the summer vacations and didn't have to wait for a shower cubicle. The camping comfort pitch itself is equipped with 6-10 ampere electricity, water, waste water and cable TV connection. Wifi can be booked for 2€ a day and you have a good connection. The animal pasture is also very nice, there are llamas, chickens, rabbits, deer and goats. The animals are fed from 09:50 in the morning. It's a challenge with a child to get to the beach and climb the many steps up and down the dune, but we knew that beforehand and didn't mind. We mostly cycled to the beach in Biggekerke. There is a nice restaurant on the cycle path right behind the campsite, when you come out of the campsite and see the stairs you have to follow the cycle path for a few meters. You can get very good pizzas there. As we also had one day of rainy weather, our son was able to spend time in the campsite's own indoor playground. All in all, it was a nice vacation with good weather and very friendly German-speaking staff. P.S. The warm or hot water costs €0.10 per minute, which didn't bother us as there was no waste of water.Automatisk oversatt.
- Thomas S.July 2015Positive tingAbsolute paradise for children, clean facilityNegative tingThe shower chipGreat placeWe stayed at this great site for 12 nights. The pitches are generously sized, with electricity and water. There are play areas for the children everywhere. The whole site is very clean and friendly. The pitches are separated by hedges. However, it's not clear to me why they have to be trimmed at peak... times, as this should be done before the season. The shower chip is a bit annoying, and the credit is offset against the deposit for the same. Showers should actually be included in the basic price for the pitch. Apart from the little things, the pitch can only be recommended. Bread rolls in the morning from 8 am in the well-stocked supermarket. The much-described stairs are steep, but you get used to them.Automatisk oversatt.
- Helmut A.September 2014Positive tingVery nice beach. Quietly located in the comfort + area. Private sanitary facilitiesNegative tingFind noneif it weren't for the stairs......We had a Comfort+ pitch with private sanitary facilities, which was great. However, the drain was the highest point in the shower tray, even for other campers. But there was a "Fletsche" available. The pitches could be a bit bigger. The Comfort+ area is very quiet, there is practically no car noise etc.... Spar supermarket with reasonable prices available on the site. The direct path to the beach is not manageable for people with walking difficulties due to the steep stairs. A daily fitness exercise for the rest. Once you reach the dune, you will be amazed by the view. It's easier to get to the beach in Zoutelande. The surrounding area offers good shopping opportunities in Vlissingen, Domburg, Middelburg and Goes. We will visit this place again......Automatisk oversatt.
