- Stefan H.July 2024Positive tingWe were passing through this campsite. We had a pitch in front of the barrier without electricity or water, but that was perfectly okay for us. The staff were really friendly, the site was very well maintained and clean and there was a lovely little lake to round everything off.Negative tingYou can hear the road quite a lot, but it wasn't a problem for us for one night.Super nice CP.We can only recommend this campsite, but a reservation would be an advantage. We went there spontaneously and had a pitch in front of the barrier. We would definitely go to this campsite again.Automatisk oversatt.
- m. k.August 2023Positive tingsmall lake, nice operator, nice pitches, bread roll serviceNegative tingsimple sanitary facilities - but very clean (completely ok for us) Proximity to the main road (but did not bother us)beautiful, small squareWe were looking for a place for the night and fortunately ended up here after 2-3 unsuccessful attempts at overcrowded places.
Very nice operator, pitch no problem (only cash payment), nice pitch, you can hear the road - but it doesn't bother you, bread roll service, the sanitary facilities are simple but totally clean - good.
Small lake for swimming - everything as it should be.
And we liked it very much.Automatisk oversatt. - Gerald R.August 2023Positive tingGreat locationNegative tingProbably just a place for an overnight stayShort trip for 4 daysVery nice place, with a small swimming pond. Unfortunately we couldn't get on the pitch at 1pm and had to wait an hour. The showers are clean, but the plastic tubs and the shower curtain in the container are not very appealing, and there is no way to dry your things.Automatisk oversatt.
- Peggy K.August 2023Positive tingNone, except for the beautiful landscape, which is not the fault of the operator.Negative tingLoud, cramped, crowded, camping in the parking lot, atmosphere like a highway service station, unfriendly operator who is only out to make a quick buck.Never againThe last piece of crap, we were standing on a completely asphalted pitch, close together, despite having booked in good time. He even put motorhomes in the middle so that almost nobody could get through. Dani was a pure horror with mold, the shower was so small that you couldn't move. Never again this place, the worst in the whole vacation and not worth a cent. Hands off!!!!!!Automatisk oversatt.
- Ulrich M.August 2023Positive tingVery nice locationNegative tingToilet containers sometimes cramped.Ideal on the Reschen Pass routeThe motorhome port is ideal for a stopover on the route over the Reschen Pass. Beautiful grounds and good service in the restaurant and good facilities for people traveling with a tent (plenty of seating, fire pit, ...). Great place for unloading and provisioning, uncomplicated check-in. Swimming in Lake Claudia within the site.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jurgen v.July 2019Positive tingSwimming lake and possibility of swimming in the outdoor pool at the adjacent hotel. Many mountain passes nearby, including Stelvio Pass.Negative tingLittle privacy when showering and washing/brushing teeth etc.Vacation July 2019 with children (17+14)Plumbing far below standard. Six showers in a row with only a shower curtain. Changing clothes in the common room in front of it where there are also the poor 4 sinks. Little to no privacy.Automatisk oversatt.
- Barbara S.July 2019Positive tingVery practical and uncomplicated when passing through Pre-order pastries Beautifully landscaped swimming pondSuperb parking space when passing throughWe used the Womo pitches for one night (€10), level parking spaces with electricity connection that works with a coin slot, we didn't even need €1. Toilet use with coin slot (€0.50), functional and clean. Reception was very nice and we were able to order pastries for breakfast even though we arrived late. You can buy the essentials in the mini store.Automatisk oversatt.
- S. Z.July 2019Positive tingSuper friendly staff, good WLAN, clean, strategically good starting pointPrice - performance is greatPleasantly surprised by the location, the road can be heard, but so can the Inn - and at night you can only hear the Inn. The sanitary facilities are spartan but great. We are very satisfied. Good starting point for many activities.Automatisk oversatt.
- Sven H.August 2018Positive tingFriendly owners, beautiful view, great surroundings with lots to discoverNegative tingWash and toilet containersGreat place for dog ownersWe had a lovely stay at the campsite. We had no problems with 4 dogs, the river flows right past the site. As the site is in the valley you can hear the road, but it was still very relaxing! Pfunds is very easy to reach on foot and by bike and has everything a camper needs! Great area with very well signposted paths! We will gladly visit the site again!Automatisk oversatt.
- Vera N.August 2018CampsiteCampsite near Samnaun. Great for shopping. Over 50 stores to stroll through. A great excursion destination. For young and old.Automatisk oversatt.
- Werne H.August 2018Sanitary facilitiesThere are only containers for the sanitary facilities. Very narrow. Visible from the outside. No storage facilitiesAutomatisk oversatt.
- Ba H.December 2017Positive tingLocation between three ski areas. Uncomplicated friendliness of the owners. Manageable size with proximity to nature.Winter camping - super friendly and everything you need is thereWe were here for the first time. We were attracted by the proximity to Samnaun and we didn't regret it. The site is small but nice and has everything you need for winter camping with a camper van. The owners are very friendly, helpful and uncomplicated. The sanitary facilities are very clean and warm.... The small kiosk has everything you need for emergencies, you can also have a drink there in the evening, sit on beer benches in the small heated conservatory and there is also pizza. The free ski bus to Samnaun or other ski resorts departs directly from the campsite. We felt very comfortable as a family.Automatisk oversatt.
- Esther S.July 2017Positive tingGreat location on the long journey home to Germany. Uncomplicated. Great restaurants in Pfunds.Negative tingnoneHighly recommended for a stopoverWe spent a night at Lake Claudiasee on our way home from Italy to Germany in July. We had a nice, large, flat pitch with electricity. The reception was very friendly and helpful in recommending good restaurants. We had bikes with us, so we could easily ride to Pfunds for dinner in the evening. We hardly... heard the road at night. Compared to some Italian campsites, we found the sanitary facilities pleasantly clean and absolutely adequate. The washing-up tent is great :). We would definitely stop off here again.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Camping Via Claudiasee September 19, 2017Hello, thank you for your honest and correct review. Greetings from the Oberhofer familyAutomatisk oversatt.
- Ulrich S.December 2016Positive tingIn winter, the location to the ski areas.Negative tingA brick wash house would be great!!!Provisional but goodThe pitch still makes a provisional impression. The sanitary building, which was supposed to be built in 2016, is not yet in place. The wash house is in containers, but that's ok. It's just that there's a lot of steam in there in winter that doesn't really want to go away. But everything was clean. Hosts very nice and accommodating.Automatisk oversatt.
- Uschi S.September 2016Perfect end to your vacationEnthusiastically recommended! Very friendly welcome, perfect place to switch off.Automatisk oversatt.
- Klaus-Peter H.July 2016Positive tinggood locationNegative tingWe paid 7 euros for electricity and garbage (garbage fee, although we were only one night at the place), as well as tourist tax for two.Simple spaceThe location of the pitch is good for transit. In July 2016, the sanitary facilities were very provisional. According to the poster, the new building is to be completed in 2016. Some of the pitches are very uneven and difficult for caravans. There are good bread rolls for breakfast.Automatisk oversatt.
- Rosemarie S.May 2016Positive tingGood location for a stopover.Negative tingSanitary facilities probably still under construction or renovation.A good place for a stopoverWe found a good place here for one night. The road was not as annoying as we had feared. Due to the renovation of the sanitary facilities, access to the showers is currently very limited. Fortunately, as it wasn't very busy at the time, this wasn't a problem. Friendly site operators, excellent W-LAN.Automatisk oversatt.
- Florian R.August 2015Positive tingclean, friendly & good sitesNegative tinga bit small on the sanitary installationssurprisingly nice and comfortable campsiteafter a very friendly welcome I started to look for a nice site... it is not so easy to find a really flat one but I did and it was also covered with soft grass. Pegs were easy to mount and everything is very clean. The dishwashing got an outdoor extension and the sanitary building was OK... a little... bit outdated but there is an announcement for a new building. I mean the old is still OK and the showers are really nice and warm. Also they have Erdinger Alkohol free in the little store ;)Automatisk oversatt.
- Michael M.August 2014Positive tingConvenient location for alpine leisure activities in both summer and winter.Negative tingNoisy, basic sanitary facilitiesSquare looks improvisedThe site is located between the Inn and the busy main road 180 to the Reschen Pass. Therefore quite noisy during the day. The pitches are rather small. They are also located on gravel-filled terrain, so sturdy pegs or tent pegs are advisable. As the access roads are made of gravel, it can get dusty.... The site is obviously still under construction. There is practically no shade because the trees are still quite young. The simple sanitary facilities are spread across the site in several containers and are cleaned regularly. Disposal facilities for motorhomes and chemical toilets as well as a coin-operated washing machine and dryer are available. There is a small restaurant on site and a small store selling essentials. The temperature of the bathing lake depends greatly on the weather; it can therefore be quite cold. The Inn here is a fast-flowing wild river, very cold and totally unsuitable for swimming. A children's playground is available. A weak WLAN is available for a reasonable fee. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Shopping is easy in nearby Pfunds. Refueling is very cheap in nearby duty-free Samnaun (CH); tobacco, spirits and wine can also be bought there duty-free and cheaply. Due to its favorable location for canoeists, it is often booked for longer periods, especially in summer. There are separate and cheaper pitches for one-off overnight stays. Those who do not have high expectations of their campsite will be satisfied. For a longer and quieter stay, I can only recommend this site to a limited extent. Addendum July/August 2018: The campsite facilities seem improvised, although it has been open for several years. The one permanent sanitary building with rather low capacity is supplemented by four construction containers (one each with toilets and showers/washbasins for men and women). Washing up is only possible in a tent. Waste water and faeces can only be disposed of on a concrete slab in front of the actual site, with the connection piece (simple downpipes from the DIY store) for emptying the faeces tanks protruding inconspicuously and unmarked from the ground. This slab is also the only place where drinking water can be taken, which I personally consider to be unhygienic, even if the tapping point and the connection for the faeces are clearly separated from each other. The ground is gravel with some pitches with a thin layer of grass. For simple overnight stays, there is a large pitch with a Euro relay in front of the actual site. Depending on your choice of location, the main road to the Reschen Pass can be very distracting, especially if you are on the overnight pitch. The friendly and committed staff are a clear advantage of the site. There is a small restaurant, a small store for essentials and the option of ordering bread rolls. A weak WLAN is available to guests free of charge in several places. Furthermore, the location is ideal for an overnight stay with the option of arriving late and checking in the following day. The prices are reasonable. A longer stay is recommended if you can put up with the shortcomings and want to take advantage of the many sporting opportunities (hiking, skiing, cycling, white water rafting etc.).Automatisk oversatt.
- Holger G.August 2011Positive tingNot to be overlooked for overnight stays on longer journeys, e.g. to and from Lake Garda. Everything you need is available.Negative tingStreet noise unmistakable but bearable, practically no shade available.Well suited for a stopover on the journey from Italy to GermanyThe site is very suitable for a stopover, even if only for one night, due to its location directly on the main road. Apparently not much has changed since our visit (for one night in the rain) in 2011. Even back then, the sanitary facilities were in containers and showers were included in the overnight... price. In the meantime, however, the lawn, which was somewhat sparse in 2011, has probably developed accordingly. At that time, the site was connected to an adjoining hotel, which also offered the opportunity to eat. The site staff were friendly. At this time, pitches were still being created. You pitched as close as possible to the electricity connections or along the driveways.Automatisk oversatt.
