- Christian W.June 2019Positive tingFamily place with everything a big one has (children's entertainment ...)Negative ting(Hard to find) is increasingly becoming a commercial spaceCampsite with family characterWe have been coming to this site at Whitsun for several years. The site has continued to develop over the years and something has been renewed every year. Nevertheless, it remains familiar.
The place is not directly on the lake (accessible via a steep footpath in about 5-10 minutes away) which was rather... positive for us at the beginning with small children (because you don't have to be afraid that the kids will be at / in the lake in a short time). The pool is completely fencedAutomatisk oversatt. - Alexander K.May 2018Positive tingVery friendly staff Cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the pitchesNegative tingfor some perhaps the communication (English, Italian)beautiful, not too large CPWe (2 adults, 4 children 7/7/4/4) were there with the caravan for 10 nights during the German Whitsun vacation. Nice, clearly laid out campsite with lots of different rental accommodation, most of which also have showers and a dishwasher. The campsite is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities... were always clean. The pool area is wonderful for children to play in. Every evening there is a children's disco followed by a games evening for the children. However, the games are not very varied. Either musical chairs or some games with water. Nevertheless, the children had fun :-). Everyone, from the entertainment team to reception and the groundsmen, is very friendly, but you won't get far here with German. However, everyone understands English. The restaurant on site is also worth a visit.Automatisk oversatt.
- Katrin S.July 2017Positive tingswimming pool restaurant Playgrounds Sanitary facilitiesNegative tingCleanliness and condition of mobilhomesVery child-friendlyWe were there for 10 days. Staff super friendly, pools and sanitary facilities modern and extremely clean (swimming cap compulsory), restaurant delicious and not overpriced. Small supermarket has little food on offer, lots of sweets and toys. Lots of playgrounds and other fun things for children. Our... mobilhome was older. That didn't bother us. However, it was really unclean. Lots of strange hair on the bed, old dust, greasy dishes, pots that were so calcified that they were unusable. That was a pity, 10 days for 2200.- booked via selectcamp.Automatisk oversatt.
- Markus N.June 2017Positive tingPanorama, pool, relaxed atmosphere, clean sanitary facilities, great mobile homesNegative tingNo direct access to the lake.Relaxed, not too big, great panoramaWe were struck by the variety: Tents, caravans, motorhomes and mobile homes... Beautiful panorama over Lake Garda. Unfortunately no direct access to the lake. We spent a relaxing time here... The pool is very child-friendly, nice little play area. The restaurant on site is nothing special but everything is catered for.Automatisk oversatt.
- Bernhard H.May 2016Positive tingIdeal starting point for excursions in the near and far surroundings, Very good restaurant on site with a great view of the lake.Negative tingAccess is a challenge for long caravans. Access to Lake Garda is possible, but almost nobody will take it on.Spring 2016 vacationWe (2 best agers) were guests at Camping Weekend for 6 weeks. Pitch no. 61, very cheap with ACI-Card in pre-session. The campsite fully met our expectations (quiet, ideal starting point to many destinations from Lago Iseo <-> Peschiera, Limone <-> Solferino, good restaurant on site). Since the swimming... pool & restaurant were already very well occupied despite the pre-session, we would assume that it would be tight in the high season. CP mainly frequented by GB & NL, site language therefore English and Italian. Sanitary building simple but very clean. WLAN limited in the evening. Can recommend CP in off-session with a clear conscience and will return at some point.Automatisk oversatt.
- Rosemary z.August 2014Positive tingNature/surroundings, offers for children, food, pool areaNegative tingSwimming cap compulsory at the pool, only pebble beach and direct lake access quite rocky and the path on foot a bit bumpyFantastic view of Lake GardaThe region around Lake Garda is wonderful (boating, hiking, cycling, relaxing...). The campsite is well maintained and beautiful. We rented a cottage: simple, but practical and clean.Automatisk oversatt.
- Oliver S.May 2014Positive tingGreat view, friendly and cozyNegative tingCramped and partly unkemptVery nice location, but...The access road to the campsite feels very narrow, and the paths on the site are also tight for maneuvering. The pitches themselves are partly surrounded by olive trees and fenced off with hedges, very cozy. The view of Salo and Lake Garda, especially in the evening, is unique. You wouldn't expect it... from the restaurant, but the food was very good. The children loved the playground, as well as the small pool, which had everything children need to splash around. The sanitary facilities were never really clean in the low season and the sinks, which looked more like troughs, had no hot water. The staff, on the other hand, were always very friendly and helpful. The site has a lot to offer, although it is very small, not everything is clean and some of it is not well maintained, which is a shame. The view, the shady olive trees on the pitch and the staff actually deserved a better rating.Automatisk oversatt.
- Marc M.May 2013Camping Weekend is enthroned high above Lake Garda. Bungalows and permanently installed tents of all sizes and standards can be found on the large terraced area. The tourist pitches are arranged in the heart of the campsite, nicely separated from each other by laurel bushes. Olive trees adorn each pitch... and the entire campsite. Wonderfully Mediterranean. The whole site looked well-kept. The sanitary facilities, which probably date back to when the campsite first opened, are very dated - but clean. The dishwashing areas were probably designed more for anorexic singles who have to wash a knife after cutting a salad leaf in half. Small washing trough with almost zero storage space. However, as we were able to spread out so nicely out of season, we can only guess what will be going on during the season. The battle for parking space is probably almost more intense than trying to get a sun lounger by the pool. However, the pool looked very well maintained and beautifully laid out. Pure bathing fun, which you can enjoy under the watchful eye of the pool attendant. But only - and this should be mentioned here - WITH BATHING CAP. They are tough as nails. No cap, no plansche. Probably the best-selling item in the store, which doesn't offer much else. Of course, you can get the essentials there at camping-specific prices. But nothing more. But that's not so bad. There are all kinds of shopping opportunities all around. Whether at a small retailer or in the shopping center. The staff were very friendly, uncomplicated and helpful. What is exciting as a short excursion is the walk to the beach at Lake Grada. Not because of the beach - we couldn't find it with the best will in the world - no, it's the way back or the climb back to the campsite. Quite steep. Not a must-see. However, there are plenty of excursions in the surrounding area that are recommended. However, caution is advised with large, wide vehicles, as the entrance and the roads on the campsite are very narrow.Automatisk oversatt.
- silke s.September 2011Pitches separated by olive trees. Some branches hang on the caravan. Great swimming pool with great supervision, miserable children's entertainment. You can save yourself the walk to the campsite's own beach. It is well described but an absolute horror. Broken glass and not nice at all and much too small.... The sanitary facilities are clean and there is hardly any storage space at the washbasins. German is spoken at reception but no information could be given about leisure activities or places of interest. Unfortunately there was no information material about surrounding cities such as Venice and you had to get it yourself. Internet connection was also available via WLAN but was often down.Automatisk oversatt.
- Hans-Joachim R.September 2010A beautifully situated spot above Lake Garda with a view of Salo. Especially in the evening. Good, supervised swimming pool. Entertainment for children. Very good restaurant. Several excursions are offered. By boat or bus. The staff is very helpful. The walk down to Lake Garda is not worthwhile and difficult.... The pitches are only sufficient for larger units on the comfort pitches. With water and waste water connections. But then you really have to work hard. But you know that in Italy. Otherwise, the site is recommended. If only because of the location.Automatisk oversatt.

- Günter V.August 2010Beautifully situated site above the lake with a lovely swimming pool and wonderful view of the bay of Salo. (Pitches with a view for an extra charge) Some pitches a little small and under low trees (problems with taller motorhomes). Sanitary facilities good and clean. Reasonable price in early and late season with camping cheques. The nearest larger towns are a few kilometers away.Automatisk oversatt.
