Positive ting
Otherwise, the site is simple and clean and has quite a few seats.
Negative ting
It is terribly noisy from around 18:00-22:00, as the local youths let off steam on their mopeds right next to it
The mopeds and the village youth meet right next door
The site is close to the Danube, is small, clean and clearly laid out. Billa and Spar are nearby. There is 1 toilet for men and women, the cleanliness of which is ok.
The 8 or so mopeds that were revved up and driven back and forth all evening until after 22:00 were terrible! And since the place is right next to the leisure and sports field, it is also a meeting place for young people. That's why I rate the location so poorly.

Positive ting
Free choice of pitch, dogs welcome, clean. Walking distance to many dining options.
Negative ting
Right next to it is apparently a meeting place for young people with mopeds. That's a bit annoying. Thank goodness they were gone again by 9pm.
Super uncomplicated, clean place
Clean site, clean sanitary facilities. The groundsman comes by at 8 pm to collect the money and is very nice and courteous. Dogs are welcome. There is plenty to eat all around. Either inns, wine taverns or shopping facilities.

Good location to the village, uncomplicated check-in, necessary equipment available; direct location on the Danube cycle path;
Negative ting
Meadow and pitch could be a little cleaner - cigarette remains, caps, teabags to be found
Simple camping as a base for activities
The essentials are there, but nothing more: shower, toilet, water electricity, chemical and gray water sink; friendly groundskeeper, cleanliness on the floor of the sanitary building could be better; facility but basically in good shape; some tents, a few caravans or campers use the facility; not overcrowded;... quiet location, sometimes a little more activity in the adjacent parking lot or meeting place for young people due to the neighboring restaurant, but all in all not disturbing;

We have been here several times. Located directly on the Danube cycle path. 4 pitches for WOMOs very neat. Unfortunately there are now large pits on the individual pitches. Very quiet during the week. At the weekend disco from the hotel next door until 3 am and young people in the parking lot with loud motorcycles. Danube bathing area 400m away with beach volleyball court.

Quiet and practical
We passed it spontaneously on the classic Danube Valley cycle tour, the site is the only one between Krems and Tulln. It was a Sunday, and as the site is apparently run by the local council, no one could be reached in advance by phone or email. But that didn't matter, as we were forewarned thanks to... the previous review. Just pitch your tent and then pay the very friendly warden the next morning. Pizza service, restaurant and supermarket within walking distance in the village. Location directly on the cycle path and quiet, unless the meadow next door is being mowed at 6 in the morning, as we were.

Campsite on the Danube cycle path
We stopped at this campsite on our tour along the Danube cycle path. The site is very small and doesn't look like a classic campsite (no fencing, there was no warden when we arrived). The sanitary building gave me the impression of a public toilet (one toilet and one shower each for M and D). The groundsman... (when he came) was very friendly and helpful. Apparently the parking lot next door is used as a meeting place for the village youth (loud music and bawling until well after midnight). But usable for one night.
