- Jens S.May 2024Positive tingSuper local transport connections to the S-Bahn network to Munich for sightseeing.Negative tingNothingSmall and very idyllic campsiteIdyllic campsite, located directly on the lake. The water in the lake is very clear and clean and is ideal for swimming, weather permitting. As the campsite is quite compact with 13 temporary pitches and an estimated 50 permanent pitches, the walking distances are very short. The kiosk with bread roll... service, snacks and ice cream as well as a terrace with a view of the lake invites you to linger. Water and electricity are available directly on site. The night's rest was always respected.
Munich can be explored with the S-Bahn station approx. 4km away. For trips lasting several days, the Isar Card is worthwhile, allowing you to use the entire local transport network.
A small playground with a sandpit and large meadow areas right by the lake can be used by children of all ages to play football, badminton or volleyball. The prices in the kiosk are very reasonable.
Everything in the sanitary building was clean and tidy. No luxury facilities, but perfectly adequate for us. Access is by key for campers. The ladies from the cleaning service are on site every morning.
Since the site is also open for bathers who want to cool off in the lake, there could be an increased number of visitors during the day in summer. This was not the case at our time. There are separate sanitary facilities for bathers. Dogs are not allowed on the site.Automatisk oversatt. - Margret und Christian B.July 2023Positive tingBeautifully situated on the lake. Nice restaurant with bread service and breakfast.Negative tingThat bathers leave their toilets dirtyVacation Camping WörthseeA wonderful small quiet campsite directly on the Wörthsee. Very friendly and helpful family who run it. Everything is always spotlessly clean. Shower without brand. Chip for the sanitary area. This is great so that bathers can't use the toilets and everything is always clean and tidy. Bathers have their own WC and showers. Super beautiful sunsets. A different play of colors every evening. We love coming here every year.Automatisk oversatt.
- Gudrun S.October 2022Positive tingThe peace and quiet, the water and the super clean sanitary facilitiesNegative tingUnfortunately none foundVery goodEverything was great. Unfortunately we can only award 5 stars. You can find the peace and quiet you need to relax hereAutomatisk oversatt.
- Ina W.July 2022Positive tingWe were there with our two children in July. It was great. The resort is very clean. Nice staff. The food was great. Schnitzel is freshly prepared. Children were thrilled. Made a new friend every day in the playground. We will be back again. Thanks to the Dosch family!Negative tingThe time passed quickly...Great campsiteAgain and again!!! Nice people. The Dosch family are helpful and very nice. Top staff. Food top. Cleanliness top. We will be back.Automatisk oversatt.
- Dieter F.July 2022Positive tingLocation on the lake and the connection to both cycle paths and public transportNegative ting-/-Great campsiteThe campsite has a great location right on the lake and is very manageable. In addition to the permanent pitches, there are a few tourist pitches and a tent meadow. The lake and the bathing area are also very popular with the locals and so the sunbathing lawn is quite full in good weather, but not annoying.... Snacks and drinks are available at the kiosk. To go on excursions, e.g. to Andechs Monastery or Munich, you can get on the public transport right outside the campsite. There is a good network of cycle paths directly in front of the campsite, but the signposting is sometimes a little misleading. Unfortunately, the pressure in the kitchen sink is very high and it's almost impossible not to get wet from the water splashes. But that's not really important. CONCLUSION: The campsite impresses with its charm and the friendliness of the host family.Automatisk oversatt.
- Tom M.July 2022Positive tingNothing!Negative tingNo willingness on the part of the CP operator to solve the problem of an obvious double booking of a pitch. Thanks for the non-help despite written reservation!Thank you for your unwillingness and unfriendliness to help us with the above-mentioned problem!
Fortunately, because you didn't care about anything on the phone, we were able to find another campsite operator in Upper Bavaria at short notice who was always available by phone and in person on site (at... the campsite), approachable and always friendly!!! - Especially with the short notice to get a pitch for the WE. -
We also like this campsite much better, as there are shopping facilities around the clock and the registration/reception desk is always staffed. We were unable to experience all of these circumstances on this campsite at Wöthsee.
Please don't get me wrong, the Wörthsee and the surrounding area are beautiful. Unfortunately, we cannot make this statement about the campsite at Wöthsee based on our experience.
Mistakes can always occur, but in our opinion there should also be a willingness to solve problems. Unfortunately, this willingness was not present at all.
Finally, the one star goes to Wörthsee, which is not to blame!Automatisk oversatt. - Kati M.August 2021Positive tingNice place with large meadow, own beach; clean sanitary facilities; nice, open, family atmosphereNegative tingWe didn't notice anything negative.Very nice atmosphereWe had a very pleasant stay here, were welcomed in a friendly and uncomplicated manner and had the feeling that all the campers here are in good contact. There is a small restaurant and others in the immediate vicinity.Automatisk oversatt.
- Erich A.July 2021Positive tingQuiet manageable place, good organization (reception was not occupied on arrival) but everything was prepared to drive in and to get to the power grid! Clean sanitary facilities, well-kept green areas - without extreme short cutting and the trees prepared so that you don't have to worry about antenna or roof hatches! Friendly, Bavarian, casual, greetings from the Upper PalatinateNegative tingMake W-Lan chargeable and provide it with with proper performanceRecommended with a clear conscience....!Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer....!
Nevertheless, it was a nice short vacation!Automatisk oversatt. - Ulrike K.August 2019Positive tingDirect location on the lake Clean and modern sanitary buildingsNegative tingNoneVery nice place right on the lakeThe campsite has very few tourist pitches, but there is plenty of electricity and water on site. The campsite is located directly on the lake. A reservation is highly recommended. Camping groups under the age of 18 without an accompanying person are no longer accepted, which shows that the operators... have addressed the criticism in the past. Dogs are also not allowed on the site. Both are pointed out on the homepage. However, the operators are very nice and helpful. The site is very tidy and the sanitary buildings are modern and clean. External visitors are allowed on the site for 2 Eur to visit the lake. On nice days this has an outdoor pool character but in the morning and evening it is wonderfully quiet and the campers have the lake to themselves. The nearest grocery stores are about 2 km away but the kiosk has bread rolls in the morning and food during the day. There is a nice restaurant right next door. All in all, a very nice campsite that deserves 5 stars.Automatisk oversatt.
- Andreas E.June 2019Positive tingLocation, nature, the warm waterNegative tingNot worth mentioningBeautiful location and good infrastructureWe got the last free spot and spent 1 week of our vacation here. It was relaxing and restful. As this is also a public outdoor pool, the peace and quiet is no longer a given. But if you can come to terms with that, you can have a great vacation here.Automatisk oversatt.
- Ilona u.September 2017Positive ting- Very pleasant, cool operator - well-kept and clean sanitary facilities - very nice locationNegative ting- many permanent campers, normally no problem if there isn't someone who wants to rip you offIdeal for relaxing and visiting MunichWe stayed at this campsite for three nights as we were passing through. Unfortunately, no one was there when we arrived, but that wasn't a problem. We reached the operator by phone. He explained everything to us on the phone and told us to come the next day. The site is very well maintained and is in... very good condition. Due to the late arrival time, the campsite was naturally not very busy, but that was very pleasant. We used the site to visit the Oktoberfest in Munich. This also worked very well thanks to the S-Bahn connection to the town. The tip to drive from Weßling is worth 9 €, as you have to drive anyway.Automatisk oversatt.
- Lars R.August 2017Positive tingClean sanitary facilities, separate from permanent campers, directly on the lake.Negative tingOnly a few tourist spotsFor us a perfect place for short vacations. We stayed at the campsite for 3 nights on our way to the Allgäu and really enjoyed it. The pitch offered us a direct view of the lake and a very short walk to the sanitary building. The direct access to the lake with bathing jetty was fantastic. Shopping facilities are easy to reach by car. Munich can be reached in about 30 minutes by car.Automatisk oversatt.
- Silke M.May 2016Positive tingThe location. Nice operatorNegative tingExtremely short intervals in the shower and at the washbasin. You have to be careful with the lighting, otherwise you're left in the dark. :-)Good CP in a great location! We were there in May and received a very warm welcome. The pitch was perfectly adequate and had a great view of the Wörthsee. Water and electricity are connected directly to the pitch. The small town is 5 minutes away by bike. Ideal for small errands. There is a lot to discover in the surrounding area... (Ammersee, Andechs Monastery, various lakes, etc.). A beautiful cycle path leads around the lake and you can quickly find a nice beer garden. A suburban train runs directly from the village to Munich (45 minutes), highly recommended! The baked goods (rolls, pretzels etc.) are baked goods. For those who like it ... On arrival you get a key with which you can leave the CP at any time (gate opens automatically). We found this very practical. The sanitary facilities were clean. However, a bulb in one of the three ladies' showers had not been replaced even after a week. According to other people, this had probably been the case for a while. The timer for the lighting was also annoying. You were often standing in the dark because someone had already switched on the light beforehand and you were then standing in the dark yourself and had to leave the ladies' area again to turn on the light switch. Showering was free, but you pressed the button more than you soaped up. Saving water yes, no question. But the intervals are extremely short ;-) The same applies to the rinsing area. You have to be very careful because of the height of the tap, otherwise you will flood everything and the water intervals are also very short there. Otherwise we felt very comfortable there and due to the time of year it was very quiet. We didn't take advantage of the food on offer there (chips, currywurst etc.), so we can't give a rating in this respect.Automatisk oversatt.
- Klaus M.October 2015Positive tingbeautiful location at the Wörthsee, well-kept and friendly ambienceNegative tingNarrow access road on the pitch, outdoor chemical disposal for mobile homesfine little anage directly on the lakeNice little site directly on the Wörthsee, very well maintained and attractively designed. Friendly and very helpful reception, tidy new sanitary facilities. Gravelled pitches for tourists. Very quiet at the time of our visit. Deficits arise from the clueless planning by the municipality, which explains... that the access road is completely obstructed or that there is no room to dispose of the chemical toilet. A nice location for a visit to Munich, which can be easily reached by the S-Bahn connection (cheaper from Weßling). Highly recommended.Automatisk oversatt.
- Florian B.June 2015Positive tingClean and well-kept facility - Affordable kiosk with delicious, inexpensive food - Each pitch has a water connectionNegative ting-Bicycle ban on the entire site - Beach also accessible for non-campers - Very narrow and short entranceNice little place with small weaknesses. The campsite is not very large but very well maintained and lovingly laid out. Regular daily inspections ensure that the house rules are adhered to. The sanitary facilities are immaculate and in clean condition. I particularly liked the spacious showers, even if the shower spray produced more of a damp... mist than a wet jet. I would like to emphasize the inexpensive snacks and lunch (chips 2€ and pizza 6€) which I would not have expected. The sunbathing lawn is huge and sufficiently shaded by trees. Unfortunately, there is no mention on the homepage that the beach / sunbathing area is only accessible to paying day visitors. As a result, the area is almost bursting at the seams at the weekend. That wouldn't be so bad if it was quiet again in the evening, but almost every second visitor brought a tent and camped out on the sunbathing lawn for the night. It almost looked like a festival site. The campers who have their pitches directly adjacent to the sunbathing lawn can then say goodbye to idyllic evening peace and quiet. There was another point that I found incomprehensible. The sunbathing lawn was almost directly adjacent to the water. However, a willow fence was stretched along the entire length of the bank, which only allowed access to the water through 3 openings at 3 specific points. I found this unfortunate, especially as there was no lifeguard => Why restrict access? => The result was completely full entrances... The access to the campsite is very cramped. We had to unhitch our trailer (with a good 8m) and maneuver it into the campsite without a towing vehicle. We did have a mover and that doesn't bother me as much, but without a mover it can be quite difficult to "push it in by hand" because it's very tight when all the parking spaces at the access road are occupied. On top of that, you're then only at the campsite and there's still a distance to the pitch. Without a mover with a large trailer, this is certainly no fun. When approaching, I can only recommend traveling via the east side of the lake. The road on the west side is so narrow that in places 2 cars can hardly get past each other, let alone a trailer and a car! The homepage also recommends this approach! A few points to summarize: Pros: - clean and well-kept facilities - inexpensive kiosk with tasty cheap food - each pitch has a water connection - clean and relatively new sanitary facilities - separate sanitary facilities for campers and day guests (with key) - small nice playground right next to the sunbathing lawn - water trampoline in the lake for the teenagers Cons: - No bicycles allowed on the campsite (no information on the homepage => children were very disappointed) - Entrance much too narrow (large caravans from 7m can only be uncoupled) - Sunbathing lawn and lake accessible to external guests (no information on the homepage) => overcrowded at weekends - Day guests camp on the sunbathing lawn "tent to tent" (almost 40-50 tents in our case) => high noise level for adjacent pitches - Full daily rate must be paid for "later" departures than 11 am, No option "departure at 5 pm" or similar - Closed access to the lake => only 3 small places open => one of which is impaired with sharp-edged pipes under water Conclusion: A nice little place that is ideal for a weekend or two, knowing that the pitches on the sunbathing lawn may not be the ideal choice in summer. We will probably come back again and would also be happy about a family-friendly "late departure" option.Automatisk oversatt.
- Michael H.June 2015Positive tingS-Bahn connection nearby, new facility, clean and friendlyNegative tingShowers unfortunately quite narrow and without splash protection for the clothesAll in all GOODWe were on the site for a week to explore the Munich area and Munich itself, S-Bahn connection can be reached in about 5 minutes by car, S-Bahn runs every 20 minutes towards the city center, travel time 40 minutes. Newer facility, with a beautiful beach directly on the Wörtsee. Mostly permanent campers, a handful of touring pitches that are gravelled, small snack bar with bread rolls for sale, all in all clean and well-kept.Automatisk oversatt.
- Markus G.October 2014Essentially quite goodWe were on the site at the beginning of October. As only NRW was on vacation, the site was quite empty during the week. The location directly on the Wörthsee is very nice. From the next village there is a suburban train directly to Munich. Despite the fact that there were very few people on the site, there were fresh bread rolls in the morning. We would go to the site again.Automatisk oversatt.
- Maria S.August 2014Positive tingBeautiful location, quiet areaNegative tingShopping facilities far away, expensive without a carOne of our best vacationsWe really had a wonderful vacation at Wörthsee. The tenant family is really nice and helpful and very helpful. The sanitary facilities are in very good condition and also very clean. We thought it was great that no youth groups or dogs are allowed here, so you really have a lot of peace and quiet and... can relax! It's also great that there's a trampoline in the water for the children to jump on. It's true about the duck droppings, but the leaseholder is also very keen to ensure that the jetty is always clean. We would like to emphasize the good cuisine, there are only a few dishes...but they are super tasty!!! We will definitely go back to the Wörthsee!!!Automatisk oversatt.
- heidi G.August 2014Positive tingQuiet locationNegative tingJetty was full of duck droppingsBeautifully situated campsiteAn idyllically situated site. Beautiful sanitary facilities We will definitely be back as the surroundings of the 5 lakes landscape offer many possibilities. Staff friendly and always ready to help with questions.Automatisk oversatt.
- Frederick M.July 2014Positive tinglake, location, beautifully landscapedNegative tingUnfriendlyGreat area but the most unfriendly place everHello everyone, We were spontaneously with our two children 2 and small tent over the weekend on the site. Well, we called them to see if there was anything available. The tent pitch was full, but there was still a camper van pitch available. When I asked whether it was grass or asphalt and therefore... suitable for tents, I got the first snotty answer. "The grass is 7 cm high on one side, is that enough?" Well, never mind and off we went. The site is in a really nice location. The small kiosk is very practical and you can have a leisurely breakfast on the terrace in the morning. But back to the unfriendly reception. The lady. Pert. When I remained calm and friendly, she softened up a bit. But now something else that annoyed me a day later. A quarter of an hour before the official deadline to leave the place, the senior boss was still barking at me that the new guests were already waiting. What are you doing? I'm a paying guest too. The place had long since been cleared. What's more, the new guests were totally relaxed. I was also standing right next to reception in my car waiting for my wife and two children. I also told him this and that we would be gone in about 10 minutes. He didn't like that at all. I asked if there was still room outside and he said "No". Quite the show. I just ignored it - what could I do without my wife and children? When I was standing next to my car, the senior boss kept waving her arms around, telling me to drive out. We finally left the site 5 minutes after 11am. All I can say is that I don't begrudge them my money and that of others - it doesn't work like that.Automatisk oversatt.
