- Anke B.April 2019Positive tingSuitable for a short trip and excursion to Dresden; beautiful location on the lake.Negative ting* Lots of permanent campers and the noise of the highway. * Outdated sanitary facilities.Aging campsite with mainly permanent campersWe stayed here from Good Friday to Easter Monday. The campsite is relatively close to the city center of Dresden (about 30 minutes by car). The lady at reception was very nice and obliging; the registration process was smooth and uncomplicated - we didn't have enough cash in our pockets, as a deposit... was due for the barrier card and sanitary building key, we were allowed to postpone full payment until departure (which we think is usual at almost every campsite?). We were able to choose a pitch and opted for the right-hand side by the lake - close to the highway; the noise from there is quite loud and can be heard at any time of day or night. The electricity box is not freely accessible, but is unlocked and locked by the reception staff. (If necessary, ask for the meter reading for your own billing.) The meadow is in front of the permanent campers' pitches (you have them at your back, so to speak), but still quite idyllic by the water - a beautiful view. In principle, we had no problems with the permanent campers themselves, although there are a few "special cases" among them... In the evenings it was quiet on our side and there were no parties going on into the night, so you could sleep relatively peacefully (apart from the highway noise). Nevertheless, it would be better if holidaymakers' pitches and permanent campers' pitches were separated so that you didn't feel like you were being watched and were included in the daily routine of the permanent campers. The sanitary buildings (sufficiently distributed on the site) are old and partly in need of renovation; but always kept clean: there was enough toilet paper, soap and paper towels. We didn't use the showers, but you do need shower tokens. There is also a small restaurant on the site with fair prices and a small selection - suitable for excursionists/cyclists. All in all, we can say that the site is fine for a short trip, but we wouldn't spend a longer vacation there. - There were too many permanent campers and anglers for us.Automatisk oversatt.
- Vanessa R.August 2018Positive tingProximity to DresdenNegative tingPermanent campers and short-term campers not separated Young people not welcome at allUnfortunately shockingWe were a group of young people between 17 and 25 years old who wanted to spend a cozy weekend (no party) at the campsite. The staff were very friendly and understanding. The location was fine despite the noisy highway and so was the lake. Unfortunately, it is a bit unfavorable that permanent campers... and normal campers are not separated, even if they at least try to separate families and youth groups. The first conflicts arose on arrival, as some of us simply overlooked the speed limit of 5 km/h (at least I did) and the "residents" didn't like this. Unfortunately, this was not the last conflict, as the very next morning our neighbors made the same mistake and we were immediately blamed. However, thanks to a friendly campsite employee, this was quickly resolved and it turned out that there are apparently often problems with these residents. In general, it was a real culture shock, as from 11 o'clock in the morning people met with children for the well-known 11er beer on the campsite meadow for short-term visitors and stayed there until the evening. The garbage was of course left lying around and there were lots of nasty looks. In general, there was quite an oppressive atmosphere on this campsite, which I don't know from other campsites. I would have liked to have given it more points, as the campsite itself was fine. But under these circumstances, there are only so few points.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jürgen K.July 2018Positive tingPeace, relaxation, swimming, close to the highway and many sightsNegative tingDominance of permanent campers including disciplinary maneuvers, almost allotment-like atmosphereAttention: permanent campers! The site is beautifully situated by a pond and is managed with enthusiasm and commitment. It is located right next to the highway (without noise pollution!) and, in addition to bathing, also allows cycling tours or car trips to Dresden/Moritzburg/Meißen.Automatisk oversatt.
- Mike Z.July 2018Positive tingIs there noNegative tingDogs are not allowed but should pay 2,50€ per night....Kiosk has no offers except ice cream and beer....Once and never again....On a campsite where dogs are charged but not allowed, never again on this campsite where you are only turned on because you walk a dog....Dear owner of the campsite, you'd better ban dogs altogether. Cats run around here freely and shit all over the place. They will never see us again!!! I hope I was able to warn other dog owners, don't come here, your dog will thank you for it.Automatisk oversatt.

- Dirk H.August 2017Positive tingQuick connection to the highway towards Dresden/Berlin. Shopping in the village Lidl Aldi Rewe Netto and DM.restaurants in the village.swimming in the lakeNegative tingno pitches as described, outdated sanitary facilities, very loud because of the highway, no restaurant as described, pay for showersfavorable place, but loudIt is a very cheap place, but as described there are no plots, also the sanitary facilities are very outdated, just still from GDR times, the restaurant is closed, even the one for the showers afterwards, although we have asked before, had to be paid extra. There is a high noise level, as the highway... goes right past. There is no information from the tenant about activities, or sights in the area, on arrival we had to look for the place ourselves, b.z.w.wait over an hour until finally electricity was connected (not just us), all in all, if there was a reasonable tenant who would bring the place to the front, then the place would actually be fineAutomatisk oversatt.
- Frank D.May 2017Positive tingMoritzburg,Dresden,Meisen nearby and the cost of camping very reasonable.Camping can be this cheap.Beautiful campsite right on the lake. Just the right place for fishing and relaxing. Will definitely come back again.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jens G.August 2012Sanitary facilities not always clean, no washing-up facilities for dishes. Passage sites by the lake not really suitable for caravans, very rough, unkempt terrain. High noise level due to highway. Narrow passages across the site with trees, some with very low branches. Shower coins and car fee not on the price list of the website!!! Would not go to this place again.Automatisk oversatt.
- Detlef Z.September 2011I got a friendly welcome and admission at lunchtime including electricity connection. Pitches on a small lawn and between the permanent campers. Approx. 340 permanent campers, 50 tourist pitches. Reasonable prices! Located directly on a reservoir. Plenty of space for children to run around. Clean sanitary... facilities, individual cabins/showers, shower time with token sufficiently long. Unfortunately, constant noise from the nearby Berlin / Dresden highway, maybe you get used to it. There is a restaurant on the site, delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices, also magazines etc.. Would go there again, if possible ask for capacity in advance.Automatisk oversatt.
