- Verena H.August 2018Positive ting- LocationNegative ting- Outdated sanitary facilitiesPure nostalgiaThe site is reminiscent of camping 30 years ago. It is beautifully situated, quiet and cozy. The owners are friendly, you can order bread rolls and there are homemade cakes. There's not much on the site itself, but the surrounding area has a lot to offer. It's a shame that they didn't at least invest in the sanitary facilities. They really could be improved. Nevertheless, we will be back. Simply iconic!Automatisk oversatt.
- Jürgen R.August 2017Positive tingGreat location and hiking opportunitiesNegative tingNo wifi, no cell phone network, no landline, too expensive, system outdated. We only stayed one nightCampsite with the charm of the 70's. Overall completely outdated facility in which nothing has been invested for a long time. especially the sanitary facilities were not exactly to feel comfortable. in the men's room it smelled extremely of urine. right next to it are the sinks for the dishes. the outdoor... facilities are littered with weeds and unkempt. the berth but was clean and mowed. a small river runs along the square. overall rather something for hippies and dropouts. location is good but the main road makes a lot of noise.Automatisk oversatt.
- Melanie J.August 2016Positive tingdirectly on the river (Püttlach), beautiful green areaNegative tingSanitary facilities old and unkempt, very loud, because on the main road, very unfriendly ownerNice location, but unfriendly and noisyThe campsite is in a beautiful location, right on the Püttlach, but it is also right on the B470. It is very noisy, especially at weekends, due to the traffic of cars, motorcycles and trucks. At night it is reasonably quiet, but from around 7 a.m. the traffic picks up again. The areas of the campsite... are very nice and large, but the owner is very unfriendly and not particularly helpful. He actually seemed annoyed with every question we asked. The sanitary facilities are functional but very old. The women's shower was blocked as there was no strainer or similar to catch all the hair. In addition, a 5-minute shower costs 50 cents. That's ok, but very impractical. You always have to have 50 cent coins with you to take a shower. If you simply increase the price per person by 1 euro, you can save yourself this extra payment. All in all, we had two nice days, but I wouldn't go there again as it was too expensive for the service. We paid 52 euros for 2 nights. I think there are better campsites in Franconian Switzerland.Automatisk oversatt.
- Sören O.August 2016Negative tingSanitary, Restless on the streetThe sanitary facilities don't work at allEven the term sanitary facilities would be wrong here. We won't be back. Too expensive for two nights family with two children we paid 71 euros.Automatisk oversatt.
- Frank L.May 2016Positive tingPitches in the family area are nice Cakes are very goodNegative tingMuch too expensive, Sanitary facilities disgusting and old (would have to be rebuilt), No water taps on the pitch, no lanternsOld and expensiveThe site is not recommended even for campers with only the smallest requirements. The sanitary facilities are very old and smelly. A new sanitary building with sufficient toilets and showers, lanterns on the site, water taps and a significant price adjustment would certainly attract more guests to the site. But until then, guests are paying a lot of money for little service. The site was left standing 50 years ago.Automatisk oversatt.
- Robert S.May 2016Positive tingThe course itself. Beautiful meadow area and high recreational value.Negative tingPoor and too few sanitary facilities. No mobile network, no WLAN, no landline.Too expensiveThe campsite itself is very nice and located directly on the river. Beautiful meadow area. Hiking trails start directly at the campsite. The nearest shopping facilities are 5 km away. The site offers little infrastructure and is far too expensive for what it offers. The sanitary facilities are old and it is difficult to see if they are clean.Automatisk oversatt.
- Petra c.June 2015Positive tingbeautiful surroundingsNegative tingnot very friendly.Beautiful placeWe were there for two days. Expensive as on the Adriatic but unfortunately has nothing to offer. Dogs cost just as much as children but have to be kept on a lead all day. Which children don't have to do. The friendliness was also lacking.Automatisk oversatt.
- Oliver H.August 2014Beautiful but an outrageous price27€ for one night with a 2-man tent is absolutely exorbitant. Comparable sites nearby cost half as much. If the beach and a dune were there, I would pay the money - that's Baltic Sea price level.Automatisk oversatt.
- Ronny M.August 2013Positive tingThe starting point for fishing, hiking and climbing is very good.Negative tingPoor infrastructure, neglected, lack of night lighting and sanitary facilities.Good for an overnight stay, unfortunately a disappointmentThe noisy main road can be heard day and night. Virtually no children to play with and the playground is a joke. Our two children soon died of boredom as the site really has nothing to offer. The tent meadow is somewhat remote, ideal for party groups, but lacks sanitary facilities and path lighting.... You can imagine where people do their business. The entire site and the sanitary facilities are outdated and neglected and need to be completely restructured, as the starting point is good.Automatisk oversatt.
- Sandra H.July 2012Franconian natural oasisGreat campsite in the Franconian Switzerland, in the climbing paradise. It's just great fun to be here.Automatisk oversatt.
- Herbert F.June 2011We actually wanted to spend our father-child camping there. But things turned out differently. Setting up the tent, barbecuing and making bread on a stick - everything was fine. But at 22:00, our tent neighbors decided to play heavy metal. And from 22:05, our neighbors on the other side organized a counter-event... with Böse Onkelz. It was hell for us. How were we supposed to explain the lyrics to our children (aged 4-13), who clearly understood them and who were so loud that they understood every word. Our request for quiet was met with an increase in volume - our complaint to the campsite operator was met with a lack of understanding. We knew that it could get louder on a group campsite. He couldn't explain to us what CD player music has to do with experiencing nature - and that is camping. We would have understood loud guitar, singing or bawling. That's part of it. Incidentally, the volume was then lowered again at 0:30. It still wasn't over by 2:00 - but we gave up in resignation. We left the next morning. I can recommend the campsite to anyone who likes loud canned music and still loves nature.Automatisk oversatt.
- Johann G.May 2011The location is very nice between the edge of the forest and the road Tüchersfeld - Pottenstein. Ideal for excursions. Separated from the road by the Püttlach (wider stream). Dogs welcome, may and can also bathe in the Püttlach. A hiking trail leads past the edge of the forest directly to Tüchersfeld.... (approx. 15min) It was very quiet on the site (May). The campsite is separated from the pitches by the restaurant and the sanitary building. (Out of earshot) A paved ring road divides the pitches, which are very well maintained. There are a few power points and everything else you need. The small restaurant, the terrace and the sanitary facilities are unfortunately past their best, but were always clean. The tenant was very friendly and helpful. We spent a few nice and quiet nights there.Automatisk oversatt.

- Jutta H.July 2010The campsite is in a very nice location, directly on the Püttlach, near Tüchersfeld, and therefore also very central. The sanitary facilities are not ultra-modern, but are tidy so far, the water is nice and hot (0.50 euros per shower, time is perfectly adequate), nothing has gone to rack and ruin. An... extension of the sanitary facilities is planned for 2011. The owners are very nice and helpful, the home-baked cake is excellent, coffee and drinks are available. There is a small kiosk (not a restaurant), bread roll service, a nice lounge, a beautiful, well-kept sun terrace and plenty of brochures about the surrounding area. You can hardly hear anything from the road at the campsite at night, the sound of the Püttlach is very calming, and during the day you have better things to do than listen to car noises. The lawn is very well-kept and also absorbs rain well. There is plenty of space for ball games and the like. There are remarkably few mosquitoes, actually none at all, even in the evening and at night. All in all, a very nice, cozy campsite for people who like it more "natural" and quiet. So it's not for adventure temple and souvenir addicts. However, as the area has so much to offer in terms of leisure activities, we at least didn't need all this primborium and were glad not to find it at this campsite. We would love to come back any time and are already looking forward to it.Automatisk oversatt.
