There are also many walking and cycling opportunities in the immediate vicinity. The site is mainly used by people passing through and cyclists. Therefore there are many changes. There is no store or restaurant. A mobile breakfast trolley comes every morning... at 8 am. The offer is very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful despite the constant hustle and bustle.
The direct location on the Fulda is very nice. Otherwise the place offers nothing more.

Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired . We actually wanted to spend the past weekend (from 04.09 - 06.09 2020) on the site and only leave again on Sunday afternoon . Since the check-out is... scheduled for the morning, my wife had asked by phone whether it would also be possible in the afternoon. Unfortunately we couldn't be told and we also had to book online! We did so and after a few days we were canceled because the place was fully booked. Since we are from Kassel, and the fact that it was fully booked seemed a bit strange to us, we drove by on Saturday afternoon! You really couldn't call it fully booked! We felt a little bit confused. Of course, it could also be that guests from the region are not welcome, which is a shame 🤔 I can't say whether we'll try again, at least not in the near future! PS. The sanitary area is directly at the entrance and therefore far too far away for the rear pitches. The container solution is inadequate. There is no storage space for clothes and towels in the showers. The sinks are outside and only have cold water, you have to get the hot water from the showers in the tub you brought with you. Quiet location, but difficult exit with trailer due to narrow, often parked access road. The campsite is accessible 24 hours a day with a card for the barrier. We reserved our 9 nights several weeks in advance. Unfortunately, we were not allocated a... pitch on the edge with shade or with a view of the Fulda, but directly at the entrance/exit with a view of the Womo emptying. TOO BAD! Very nice team, the boss is even so relaxed that he still tolerates charcoal grills when the city of KS has already banned this for all areas due to hot, dry weather. Small store with drinks, ice cream, sandwiches and information. When fully occupied, additional alternative spaces are created - the charm of a highway rest area is created. And there is a queue for showers/washing facilities, as these are then too scarce for everyone from the CP and Womo pitches opposite.Automatisk oversatt.

It is new and relatively small. Although the tents are very close together, it is very quiet at night and you can hardly hear any noise. The campsite is located directly on the Fulda. The sanitary facilities are clean, but unfortunately housed... in containers, which makes them look a little provisional. Very close to Kassel and therefore ideal if you want to visit the city or, like us, the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe. Unfortunately, we had to park the car outside, but the space is so small that you can still get to the car quickly if you forget something.
