We have been here many times and have observed the changes. The service and cleaning have always been good. The cleaning and service staff are always nice - unfortunately the guys and girls don't always have it easy. Sometimes I wonder what it's like for some campers at home. The prices in the campsite... store are sometimes at the upper pain threshold - but there is something for emergencies. The well-protected pitches (we have been in full sun on other campsites) are completely ok.
The security is very attentive at night and ensures peace and quiet in an emergency. The "restlessness" that some people complain about is just part of camping - especially on a site that is popular with families.
We will definitely be back.

The friendliness already at the reception, our wishes and ideas were always fulfilled! I would like to thank all the staff at the campsite for their commitment and friendly help. Arrival is possible by all means of transportation (we came by train) and the way to the campsite is feasible even with luggage. You can escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy your vacation whatever the weather. We wanted for nothing and we made lots of good friends who were always there for us.
Negative ting
The few "campers" who believe they have paid and can now have everything cleaned up after them. As a clever mother once said: you have to use people as they are!!!
Defied the storm, thunderstorm and heavy rain and it was the most beautiful holiday!!!!!!
Overall a very clean CP, adequately lit at night, pitches for tents very well maintained and also equipped with all electricity, water. The location to the beach is very good at just under 200m, the beach itself is clean and sandy. Beach walks are recommended.
The site plan in the beech forest is adapted... to the weather conditions and every camper can find his place in the sun or shade.

For cycling (e-bike) it is highly recommended! The place itself is so la la. You have to pay for everything right away, you only do that if people might be dissatisfied I think!

We were very unhappy with the pitch in Stubbenfelde. I booked a pitch, on arrival we were told that unfortunately there was nothing left on the pitch we wanted, so we got another pitch. It was impossible to reach with the caravan, so we went back to reception. Then again 2 possible places to choose from. One of the pitches was just about acceptable I would call it. The colleague on the neighboring pitch unfortunately had no possibility to park his car on his pitch. I then arranged it so that he could stand with me. Anyone who comes here for the first time has to expect something like this. I can not recommend it and we will definitely not come back!

There is only one place to dispose of chemical toilets, so you sometimes have to walk a long way. I haven't seen shower curtains for a long time either. More serious, however, is the moldy ceiling in the showers. If you're looking for a washbasin to do your laundry, you'll be disappointed on the CP - you have to use the washing machines, which is of course disproportionate for one or two items of clothing. There is also no bowl that fits under the tap at the dishwashing sinks. Also, the water only runs for about 3 seconds after you press the tap. Washing up, especially the dishes, is really no fun.

During the NRW fall vacations, there was very little going on at the campsite and on the island as a whole. The sanitary facilities were therefore adequate. This certainly cannot apply to the high season.
The site is situated above the cliffs with steps down to the beach. This location is the real plus point of the site. The site is good, but overpriced.

The village and campsite of Stubbenfelde are a little away from the major seaside resorts. You quickly notice this on the beach and the paths around it. Nevertheless, you can get everywhere quickly by bike, train or car. You can get everything you really need in the store on site. You can reach a store within a few minutes by bike.
Negative ting
We would have liked the guests themselves to pay more attention to cleanliness. The wash houses were cleaned regularly but were unfortunately never really clean. We were there with our daughter on vacation and unfortunately you could often hear the many children even at very late hours.
Away from the strongholds
If you're looking for peace and quiet, you shouldn't come on vacation. But that applies to many places. The place is beautiful and we had a few nice days. The distances to the wash house, beach or store are short. If the operator would enforce the rules he has set up, it would be great, but we can still recommend the place.

In der Nebensaison sicher ein schöner Platz, in der Hochsaison mit den vielen kleinen Stellplätzen einfach überfüllt. Die Grössenangaben stimmen nicht immer überein mit den Platzgrössen, da bei einigen Plätzen grössere Bäume auf dem Platz stehen, die ein Einrangieren sehr erschweren. Meines Erachtens... passt es nicht, dass man einen Platz L bucht und dann mitten auf dem Platz eine grossen Baum stehen hat. Nichts gegen den Baum, der ist wunderschön, aber bei der Platzausmessung sollte er berücksichtigt werden.
Ebenso sind die Sanitäranlagen für den Ansturm Menschen in der Hochsaison nicht ausgelegt. Hier sollte dann zumindest öfter geputzt werden (allerdings nicht währenddessen das Sanitärhaus für 1,5h schliessen), die Preise für einen Platz in der Hochsaison sind dementsprechend ja auch höher (immerhin 14€ pro Nacht).
Warum man für einen Hund 3€ pro Nacht kassiert und dann für die Hundedusche auch nochmals bezahlen muss, erschliesst sich mir auch nicht.
Insgesamt gefällt die Lage mit schneller erreichbarkeit des Strandes.

Were very disappointed.... therefore it is difficult for us to name any advantages. Halt.... the environment itself is undoubtedly a dream.

In our opinion, the first place is clearly overrated. The rating is probably from the "good old days". We managed the campsite, but without "heart", as is the case at many other campsites. Our expectations were high based on the rating....... our disappointment with what we found was unfortunately even greater Recommendation: under the circumstances "NO"
Astonishment at the high valuation
CP is large and anonymous. There are clearly not enough toilets and showers
It is almost always cleaned half an hour before "cleaning closes". So you can't rely on the opening times.

Wanted to shower at 2230 in the evening....(11pm normal closing time), everything was already closed.
All showers......all!... are now moldy and have black mold all around.
The ceilings are covered in moth - presumably from water ingress or from the steam. Poor ventilation and air extraction.

No shower curtains in some ladies' showers

The light just goes out. Motion detector turned on too close.
No paper towels in the washrooms, washbasins. Instead these Dyson hand dryers (bacteria slingers)

Toilets are often marked with "skid marks". Would have to check several times a day.
The restaurant is not recommended. Unless you like convenience food for expensive money (a little breaded schnitzel with fries and simple peas 15 euros, tasted like cardboard)

The kiosk is only open from 8-11am and 4-6pm. Very customer unfriendly. Something like this must be available for campers all day long.

Internet Wlan Max 1Mbit. You can do little to nothing with it.
Reception is only manned from 8-12 and 14-18 o'clock. Far from "customer friendly".
Pitches mostly crooked/inclined.

Baltic Sea is 200 meters away. Is described differently on the homepage (TExt: Directly behind the place is the Baltic Sea.) If 200 meters are "directly"!

CP is located directly on the steep coast of the Baltic Sea with a very beautiful long sandy beach.

The space is large and quite anonymous. There is little light through the high treetops, which makes it quite noisy in the evenings or early mornings because the canopy reverberates.
The sanitary facilities are clean, but there are far too few toilets. In addition, the toilets often take a very long... time to clean and you then have to spread yourself over the other two. (On the positive side, sanitary I is new and looks quite bright and friendly).
Although the whole site was full to capacity, only one of the two (already few) disposal options for the F tank was opened. This was very dingy.
When the weather is sunny, the site looks much friendlier!

Very clean place
Without question a dream location, about 200 m walk to the beach, unfortunately a somewhat steep staircase back. The beach is great, soft white sand, no stones in the water.
Overall a fantastic location in one of the typical wooded areas of this region, the site is large and was very full during our... stay. Some of our contemporaries were not so keen on keeping to the quiet times, there was regular partying and roaring until after midnight. Family atmosphere, lots of children. Sanitary facilities in great condition, but that's the least you can expect given the very steep pitch rent.

Conclusion: We only stayed overnight on the pitch, sleeping was often only possible with a tablet. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you.

A feel-good family vacation
Our vacation at the Stubbenfelde campsite - this time with the children in a wonderful, very spacious vacation apartment - was a complete success. The accommodation was almost too big for the four of us, very clean and beautifully furnished. The sanitary facilities on the campsite were also in top condition... at all times. Our children loved the playground. We were able to do a lot in all weathers and enjoy our vacation time in the autumn vacations to the fullest. We would also like to praise the extremely friendly staff at the campsite. You really do a great job with a lot of passion and commitment.

We had a pitch on the beach road directly under an oak tree and acorns kept falling on our camper van.
I didn't think anything of it, the car wouldn't mind,
Now I've sold the van, the dealer has found damage to the roof, approx. 5000 euros.
So be careful, only go to safe places or drive on.

Otherwise a nice place. We liked it all around.

Right by the sea
Large campsite under trees, only separated from the sea by a dune. The sea and beach are unique - clean and uncrowded. The DLRG monitors the beach area. There is a steep flight of steps to the beach, a little further away there is access without steps. There are numerous snack bars nearby. Bathing train... stop directly in front of the site. Great children's playground.
We had a central pitch, otherwise the distances to the playground and sanitary facilities can be quite long for small children.

Clean site with clean sanitary facilities. Free showers and garbage bags. Nice and shady under the trees in summer. Really close to the sea and beautiful beach. Plenty of restaurants/snack bars in the area.
Negative ting
If this is a disadvantage then the lack of automatic WC cassette cleaning and the fact that there is only one disposal station,,,without a trolley the cassette can become very heavy. The space is rather large and therefore somewhat anonymous.
Large space, close to the sea
The site is rather large and well maintained. There is a nice big playground for children. You can get enough to eat here without cooking. Despite the size of the site, it was quiet and you can even hear the sound of the sea at the rear pitches. The path to the sanitary building and the waste disposal... is sometimes very long, but everything is clean. The waste disposal station is rather small for the size of the site. Bread roll service and a small store are available for the essentials. Water was available directly on the pitch. In summer, the trees provide great shade, but in the colder seasons it gets quite nippy. You can get directly to the beach via an unused path. You can rent beach chairs there and eat good fish soup at the snack bar. The Usedomer Bäder Bahn will take you further without any problems. It's worth taking bikes with you. We will be back.

It could be so beautiful.....
...if the site was a little better thought out. Sani all more or less in one place, from the rear part of the CP mostly a hike, also because the Sani 3 was mostly closed for "cleaning work". You could meet the staff over a coffee and a cigarette in a corner and have a lively chat. The sanis were only... superficially clean, and the toilet seat was brown, the partitions visibly touched by a thousand fingers - even the next day. Only Sani 1 was always spotlessly clean. Too bad. The shower tokens are a rip-off, I've never experienced anything like it before. If you want to pay extra, you have to leave the shower cubicle naked with foam in your hair...not possible. I also imagine "dog-friendly" to be something different. You pay 3 Eur for the dog and get: Nothing! Shower tokens for the dog??? ours is big, long-haired...I would need three to get it even remotely clean. Water hose at the campsite had to do the trick. No exercise area, no play area, just a station with dog bags. Also quite unfortunate was the actually beautiful playground - right next to the busiest road right at the entrance! Oh, and if the toilet in the caravan is full - hopefully not after 9 pm. Only emptied in front of it... You can live with the fact that some of the pitches are very uneven. The sometimes very unfortunate drainage shafts are very annoying ... we were lucky with our neighbor, the water would have had to run uphill. Free WLAN is offered, but only works on the wall between Sani 3 and the antenna...
