- Joachim D.July 2024Positive tingVery friendly staff Parceled pitches, partly shadyNegative tingDominated by permanent campers who don't always know how to behave. The main paths are also blocked with campers, which makes maneuvering difficult. There are 4 unisex toilets without toilet seats and only three showers for men. All but one of the washbasins have their own cubicle. It's never really quiet because of the nearby highway, the TGV route and the flight path.Acceptable for an overnight stayFor a stopover on the way to another destination, the place is acceptable. We wouldn't spend a longer stay here under any circumstances. It's not quiet enough for us. Right now, for example, another plane is flying over the site.
We only come here because the campsite is conveniently located on the way... to Normandy, about halfway there for us.
The staff are very friendly and speak English if required. The location directly on the Somme is also attractive.Automatisk oversatt. - Andrea H.July 2023Positive ting- new sanitary facilities (partly still under construction) - Friendly reception - WLAN good and also free of charge - close to the highway - Bread rolls can be ordered in advance; supermarket and petrol station nearby (in Péronne) to find - Small snack bar and barNegative ting- Low hedges around the pitches - Approach is poorly signposted - somewhat restless due to central playground, which could be played on until after 10 pmGreat for a stopover, and certainly great in other ways tooMany mobile homes/permanent campers, but also pitches; reservation is advisable, even for one night; pool and tennis court on site, fishing available.
Unfortunately, the approach is poorly signposted.
Quiet at night;
Quite low planting (few trees) due to low hedges. Pitches are grassy, spacious and level.Automatisk oversatt. - Andreas S.May 2023Positive tingHiking along the canalNegative tingNot reallyPure tranquillityThe site is mostly occupied by permanent campers, but has nice pitches for day guests. We received a very friendly welcome in English and were allocated a pitch. The whole site is very well-kept and remarkably quiet. Bread and croissants can be pre-ordered for the next morning. The sanitary facilities... have just been renovated. In mid-May '23 the workmen are not quite finished yet, it will probably take a few more weeks, but everything is usable. A word about the showers, the hot water seems to come from far away. Turn the temperature control all the way to the right and keep pressing the button, it can take a few minutes.
From the rear exit of the campsite you come directly to the "Canal de la Somme", which is a wonderful place to hike. My tip is to walk or cycle along the path to the west (left). After about 4 km, the cycle path joins a road that runs parallel to the canal. If you are on foot, you should use the small bridge at this point to cross to the other bank. Two kilometers further on you will come to a restaurant "Domaine des P'tits Bouchons" with a very nice outdoor area. Dogs are welcome.Automatisk oversatt. - Marita F.August 2021Positive tingLarge, well-kept pitches Friendly reception Large showersNegative tingThere could be more toilets on site.Very pleasant CPThe canal is great for cycling.
We had a very relaxing two days.
We would love to come back, not just as a stopoverAutomatisk oversatt. - Ulrich H.September 2019Positive tingClose to the A1 highway, clean, friendly, reasonably priced. Great nature along the SommeNegative tingnoneWorthwhile stopover in the Vallée de SommeThe site is just a few minutes from the A1 highway. I made a stopover here and was amazed by the fantastic landscape. I then stayed for 4 days and cycled almost 100 kilometers along the banks of the Somme river on my MTB. The operators are very nice and helpful, the sanitary facilities are not the newest... but they look clean and well-maintained, as does the whole site. The toilets are not inside the building but outside. The showers are inside. The noise level on the pitch is within reasonable limits. However, if you're looking for complete silence, you're in the wrong place. There is a "bread roll service" on site - these have to be ordered in advance in the evening. A good place that I will choose again as a stopover on my next trip to Normandy.Automatisk oversatt.
- Armin W.May 2019Positive tingClose to the highway Clean Nice staff French fries stand/restaurant on siteNegative tingToilets outside and without paper Only three showers per gender Unfortunately no hair dryer / hair dryer available Weak water pressure in the showersVery nice place, but toilets outsideVery friendly owners, but toilets are outside and there are only three showers at a time. Bring your own toilet paper. As a couple with our van we paid €19.70 per night. (end of May 2019)Automatisk oversatt.
- Peter M.October 2018Positive tingQuiet and clean place, sanitary facilities in order, friendly staff. Many historical sites nearby.Negative tingThose who are light sleepers may be disturbed by Thalys and TGV trains. There is no catering on the pitch out of seasonGood 3-star placeWe stayed at the site for the first week of October. The reception was very friendly and we were able to choose our pitch. The pitches are very large and well-kept, with water and electricity connections close by. The sanitary facilities are clean and in good order. The fact that there is no toilet paper... is also common on other pitches, so you just take it with you. The permanent campers are separated from the tourist pitches, which I think is very good. As we were there outside the main season, there was no bread service and the barbecue on the site was closed from October 1st. There are no shopping facilities in Feulliers, an InterMarché is 6km away in Peronne. Here you can also refuel cheaply. For those who are interested in the First World War, this place is just right. All the historical sites and museums are within a short distance. We will certainly visit this region again, as not everything can be seen in a week and this place is also suitable for a longer stay. It doesn't have to be out of season.Automatisk oversatt.
- Corina H.September 2018Positive tingbarely 3 km from the highwayNegative tingToilets without paper and almost outsidegood as a stopoverClose to the highway, CP can be used around the clock - but this disturbs the sleep of those present. So; nice site, but hardly for longer, especially as we can't get used to toilets without paper!Automatisk oversatt.
- Bettina u.Klaus G.September 2018Positive tingSee commentNegative tingNONEBeautifully maintained placeEverything very clean and tidy, friendly staff, the place is absolutely recommended as a stage but also for longer.Automatisk oversatt.
- Marion M.July 2018Positive tingClose to the highway, very well maintainedGreat place as a stopover or for longer ...We used this rather small site as an overnight stop on the way back from the Atlantic and would have liked to stay longer. Very friendly reception (also English-speaking and a little German), very well-kept campsite with a short lawn, trimmed hedges, a small playground and a great little outdoor pool... with sun loungers. Snack bar and small restaurant as well as bread service available. Sanitary area clean and toilets and showers sufficiently available for the size of the site - toilet paper must be brought along. Great location on the Somme. Only 3 kilometers from the highway, which we did not hear. However, train traffic was audible from time to time. However, we slept soundly at night. Because the barrier was not closed, we were able and allowed to drive on at our desired time.... Conclusion: very happy to stay againAutomatisk oversatt.
- Kerstin I.May 2018Positive tingAs good as new, clean sanitary facilities, friendliness, close to the highwayNegative tingNo bread roll service in the low seasonTop for an overnight stay or even for longerDue to its proximity to the highway, this is a perfect place for a stopover. The reception is extremely friendly and is conducted in a mixture of German and French. The pitches are parceled out and divided by hedges and are very well maintained with dense grass. Electricity connections and water points... are always close by. The sanitary facilities are as good as new and very clean. The separation of toilets and washrooms is pleasant. The toilets are open, the showers and washrooms are closed and heated. It is only a few minutes' walk to the canal, which is lined with a footpath and cycle path. You should actually stay here for longer than just one night. Unfortunately there was no bread service in the low season and no bakery in the village.Automatisk oversatt.
- Annette K.June 2016Positive tingClose to the highway, very well-kept overall impression, large parking spacesVery pleasant, well-maintained placeThe lawn was almost golf course quality in June, so well maintained. And the grass was not left lying around, which we particularly appreciated as campers with dogs. Friendly staff at reception. The town of Péronne is only a few kilometers away, where you can find supermarkets and cheap petrol stations.... Good stop-over site, close to the highway. The TGV can be heard a little, but was not particularly annoying. Meanwhile, hot water in the showers and for washing up is free. WLAN access for one device also free of charge.Automatisk oversatt.
- Katharina k.June 2015Positive tingClose to the highway, swimming pool, no barrier (early departure possible)goodStopoverPlaceshave only stood here one night in the direction of Paris, good stopover area (paved) very friendly staff, sanitary okayAutomatisk oversatt.
- Melanie L.August 2012Quietly located small site with spacious pitches, mainly permanent campers. English is also spoken at reception. Small pub with snacks available. Hot water is only available with paid tokens. Showers are large and clean, toilets were not particularly clean during our stay, but we were only here for one night. You can pre-order baguettes or croissants for breakfast. The site is ideal for a stopover.Automatisk oversatt.
- Michael T.June 2012Ideal "stop-over" site towards Paris on the A1 (exit 13.1). Very well-kept place, swimming pool with 26 degrees, quiet location, showers by shower coin (7 min), no hot water when washing up (except for cash), wash house o.k., ev, a bit scarce when full. Nice large pitches with gravel and lawn surrounded... by hedges, very friendly reception (in English if necessary), small vans come in the morning (in the morning) and bring croissants, baquettes, etc.. We will definitely stop here again.Automatisk oversatt.
