Positive ting
Time seems to have stood still. Only the sanitary facilities have been somewhat renovated. The beach is beautiful and in August you can watch karetas hatching.
Negative ting
The taverna on the square offers little variety in terms of food. There is no alternative in the village.
Almost like 25 years ago
If you want to experience Greece as it was 20 years ago, this is the place for you. The site is spacious and not parceled out. Many pitches offer good shade. The store on site is forgettable. For shopping you have to go to a small supermarket in the village or to the bakery (hardly any English is spoken... here). If you want to eat well, you have to take the road towards Tholo. After about 5km there is an excellent taverna next to the former railroad station of Tholo.
The people who run the place are friendly; their English is limited and so there are sometimes misunderstandings.

Already a bit outdated - unfortunately
The campsite is in a very beautiful and quiet location. The kilometer-long beach is about 200 m away. However, the infrastructure is a bit outdated. The sanitary facilities appear unkempt and dilapidated. The site's own dogs are a real nuisance at night. We stayed at the campsite for 5 nights and went on a few great scooter tours into the hinterland.

Secluded large pitch, partly in a pine forest, otherwise shaded by eucalyptus trees and mat roofs. Very quiet location. Simple but clean sanitary facilities. The wide, kilometer-long, fine sandy beach is 100m away.
