- Heiko O.August 2019Positive tingPaved parking spacesNegative tingShowers and toiletsVery well maintained, but...The campsite is well maintained at first glance. The location is good, but bicycles should not be missing. The sanitary facilities look quite new. The cleanliness was okay, but nothing more. What really bothered us was 1. that there was no toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels. 2. the showers and... the reaction of the operator to a complaint. 2. my wife waited 1.5 minutes until the water was no longer ice cold, then showered, turned off the shower briefly to shave her legs...that was it, the time did not stop, but continued to run happily. 6 minutes total time. The operator's reaction: Your wife needs to read the instructions... Thank you for the conversation. Zero ability to criticize. What a pity.Automatisk oversatt.
- Silvia H.May 2017Positive tingWell maintained, very quietSuper small well-kept campsiteWe think Strooiendorp is great, have been there several times and always like to come back to this super well-kept place, the owner is super nice! Really pays attention to all the details! Huge dog meadow fenced in with a 2 m fence! You don't really need it because there is a forest directly opposite where you can go for a great walk! We always spend all our spa vacations at Strooiendorp, whether it's winter, spring or autumn!Automatisk oversatt.
- Jörg K.December 2015Positive tingVery clean Dogs welcomeNegative tingnoneSuper campsite for a short tripThis is my 1st review for a campsite and funnily enough this one doesn't have one yet. We were there in December between Christmas and New Year's Eve because I read a few positive reviews on Google. It wasn't that easy to get a pitch during this time, as most pitches are closed in winter and the ones... that are open are usually fully booked. We paid €18 for a family of 4 with a caravan, including electricity, TV (cable 3 or 4 German channels) and water. Shower tokens cost €1.50 and you can shower for about 7 minutes. The pitches are concreted and there is grass in between. I really liked the concrete pitches as you don't get muddy when the weather is bad. The whole site was very clean and the wash houses were also Pico Bello. There is also some play equipment such as a basketball hoop, table tennis table, climbing frames and even a mini golf course. There are also washing machines and tumble dryers. Opposite the campsite is a beautiful forest where you can take the dog and children for a walk. There are also some things for children in the forest. Many figures carved out of trees and here and there you can see a carved figure sitting on a tree. The forest is also super clean, no garbage flying around or left behind by dogs. We stayed there for 3 nights and visited the towns of De Haan, Bruges and Ostend during that time. (I think everything within a radius of about 15 km) I didn't see any stores nearby. But there are a few in the town center. We've mostly been in the Netherlands all these years. In Belgium, I was totally surprised to see parking lots on the beach that didn't charge a parking fee. Even in the middle of Bruges, we only paid €4.20 for 4 hours in a very full parking garage. The parking spaces are not too big. With an awning it gets tight. So if you're planning a short trip, this is the place for you.Automatisk oversatt.
