"Nice place, but incredibly loud, noisy - We were here in July. The place is good, everyone at reception is friendly and helpful. The pitches are small, they are still sized for the old tent days, but it will do. It's close to the beach and the market, so that wouldn't be a problem. BUT: this is the loudest campsite in Hungary. On the one hand, every musical event on the market stage is like being in the campsite, with incredibly loud music playing until late into the night. If there is a break, the music comes from the Katalin Hotel next door, very rarely a quiet day . The worst thing is that there are people renting places in the campsite all year round, several "families" are playing music all day long, shouting, drinking, the whole campsite is buzzing with them. They even put up a sign saying 8th district and that entry is for the brave only. You can understand everything, that's what a camper needs. The management obviously can't deal with them but probably doesn't want to. The few days we spent there were like camping in a village disco. The place itself would be really good, although in many ways not up to the standard of the time, but this is made up for by the kindness of the staff. But to have twenty or thirty people in a campsite constantly blaring music and bringing the standard of the hole-mine, unfortunately ruins the whole experience. The campsite is advertised as family-friendly, which is completely incomprehensible. It may have been different in the past, but it is really for those who like all-day music, noise, drinking and shouting.

"Hatvan - Clean showers and toilets, very friendly and helpful staff, good location - walking distance to Lake Balaton, markets and restaurants, plus the train station.

"Small but nice - Small campsite dominated by permanent campers. A new sanitary building in the lower part, one from the times of real existing socialism with the same charm. Unfortunately the swimming pool was not usable, just like the tennis court opposite. There is a restaurant on the site. Overall a good site at a reasonable price.

"Very friendly family place - Very friendly staff Very good restaurant on site We were there in August 2015, had a nice place under trees, the temperatures were 36°C so the shade was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were not always cleaned thoroughly. The swimming pool was nice, but some of the plaster was falling off. Lake Balaton was not far away, but could only be reached with an entrance fee via a kind of outdoor pool.

"a very nice campsite - we will come back next year already an ordenndlich managed place which is managed in the 2 genarazion the operators of the place are really super nice to the beach to the flat lake you walk about 5min walk if you walk slowly and there are many possibilities to see something if you want to (the castle of Keszthely) so enough raving otherwise we get the same again ferhnweh

Profil

Our campsite has been at your service since 1983 and we have to admit, we had no idea that it would transform so much in the meantime. In recent years, we have continuously expanded the list of our services so …that our returning and new guests can spend their free time pleasantly in our camping. In our area you can camp, park a caravan all year round or rent one from us. In addition, two modern sanitary building with laundry room, a swimming pool, as well as a cocktail bar and a restaurant stay at our guests’ disposal to provide everything for a relaxing holiday. For bike lovers we also operate a bike-rental service, and for those who would like a nice walking, we recommend the Gyenes beach, which has won the ’Beach of the year’ award and is easily available with a 3-minute-walk from our campsite. It tells us everything that our regular guests have been returning with great satisfaction since our foundation to us. We look forward to welcoming you as well!
