- Christoph e.December 2019Positive tingClean, short distances, everything there.Negative tingThe adjacent unit hums all the time. Even at night.Great pitch for winter sportsVery clean pitch. Well located for skiing. Bar, mini market, lifts within 100m easy to reach.Automatisk oversatt.
- Alice K.April 2018Positive tingclose to the slopes super cleangreat parking space directly in the ski area it couldn't be closerWe stayed on the pitch for 5 nights after Easter. The sanitary building is brilliantly clean, the brownies clean every night ? - and after a sweaty day of skiing the shower is super hot and clean. The only thing we will do next time is take a doormat with us for the base of the pitch so that we don't... permanently drag dirt into the motorhome. The "noise" of the BKW mentioned by the "previous reviewers" is a low hum that gently sings you to sleep. Not worth mentioning! You wake up with the first rays of sunshine and can take the first gondola straight up the mountain. If it's cloudy, you can turn around and leave later, or have a leisurely day in the camper van. We will definitely be back, many thanks for the super clean sanitary facilities.Automatisk oversatt.
- Andreas W.March 2018Positive tingBeautiful location - clean - approx. 300 m to the gondola - beautiful ski areaNegative tingContinuous sound from CHP unitGreat pitch but no RESTGreat pitch, but the CHP unit below is terrible. This 24 hour continuous sound is annoying, especially at night. I also don't understand why nobody writes this in the reviews.....I drive to the mountains so that I can have my peace and quiet and then there's continuous sound. There are probably a lot... of city dwellers on the road who are used to the constant sound. To the operator - a small wooden shed (soundproofing) and the problem would be solved...Your pitch isn't cheap after all....Automatisk oversatt.
- Günter und Andrea S.January 2018Positive tingLocation, cleanliness and value for money, super groundskeeper Markus!Negative tingNoneGreat pitch and best groundsman !!!Come several times a year and are simply thrilled, ingenious location, great sanitary facilities and the groundskeeper Markus is great!!! Always an open ear, very helpful and friendly and also helps out sometimes!!! Very good place, absolutely recommendable!!!!Automatisk oversatt.
- Carmen R.December 2017Positive tingCleanliness, short distancesGreat vacationWe stayed at the Womo Camp over Christmas and New Year's Eve and were delighted with the facilities and the proximity to skiing. You will definitely see us again. We enjoyed it very much. Carmen and HaraldAutomatisk oversatt.
- Klaus R.March 2017Positive tingideal starting point for various hikes, also ideal location for skiers. Infrastructure !Negative tingBetter separation of disposal and supply. Some weak points have already been rectified. Great! Some comments on the Internet are incomprehensible to meSuper pitch with everything your heart desires. If someone complains about hygiene, then it can only be about the drinking water hose next to the toilet sink. I don't find that acceptable either, so I use my own hose and the toilets and showers are great. Footprints are not unhygienic, the campers take... care of the dirt themselves and could remove it, as the equipment is available. We have felt at home in Kurzras for 30 years and consider this place to be an absolute enrichment. The luxury of nature, snow, skiing and leisure activities of all kinds, combined with the comfort of a pitch at an altitude of 2000m, rightly costs its price. Let's keep it that way and hope for price stability for a long time to come.Automatisk oversatt.
- Giovanni F.October 2016Positive tingAll the comforts to stay .Negative tingAt night, the thermal power plant is very annoyingExcellent rest areaVery good rest area, too bad about the very noisy thermal power plant that runs day and night, I would recommend a soundproof curtain like highways.Automatisk oversatt.
- Peter O.August 2016Positive tingPeace and quiet, large squaresHammer pitch at over 2000 mWas our parking space for one night on the transit, a lot of space, places freely selectable, restaurant and lift in the immediate vicinity, access there 25 km uphill, past the Vernager reservoir, a must for every South Tyrol fan.Automatisk oversatt.
- Stephan L.August 2015Positive tingAll activities & infrastructure within walking distance.Negative tingCHP units below the pitch also run at night (monotonous humming). Pitches next to the fence are therefore not recommended.Family vacation, 2 adults & 3 childrenExcellent location. Level, spacious parking spaces. Cash payment system at the machine ok, with EC card would be even better.Automatisk oversatt.
- martin s.March 2015Positive tingGreat facilities. Close to the cable car. 5*****Sanitary buildingIngenious placeWere there from 9 - 13.3. Everything was fine, pitch was almost empty, only 5 Womo's. Wifi was unfortunately not working, otherwise very clean and well maintained. Ski slopes brilliant!!!Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Caravan Park Schnals - Senales April 24, 2015WLAN now ok and free of charge.Automatisk oversatt.
- klaus m.December 2014Positive tingPerfectly located for beautiful ski tours in the Schnalstal Valley.Negative tingwhen it is full, the sanitary facilities should not be enough. Unfortunately, normal cars were also parked on the site during our last stay!Ski tours directly from the parking lotBeen there for 2 days at the beginning of December, now planned again for New Year's Eve until January 6th because the location is so perfect. There should be something like this in more ski resorts.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Caravan Park Schnals - Senales December 20, 2014Dear Klaus,
The reason why normal cars have been parked in the square at the weekend in recent weeks is that we are the only ski area in South Tyrol with sufficient snow. The parking lot was only opened at short notice to allow all skiers and especially ski tourers to park.
Best wishes from South Tyrol
Dario PiazziAutomatisk oversatt. - Nicla G.November 2014But the €24 for what???We have been traveling to Val Senales for several years now and this is the second year we have stayed at the rest stop. It is definitely located in a strategic and convenient place but I will definitely not go back next year. Last year we barely managed to get in since it was completely snowed in. Water... drainage area either nonexistent or submerged in snow. After a day of skiing in the cold also having the wonderful surprise of finding the bathrooms cold with frozen water. All this for the modest sum of €24 per day. We stayed this weekend arrived Friday at 10 p.m. and left Sunday at 6 p.m. Paid 56€ not sure why.Automatisk oversatt.
- Rudolf B.September 2014Positive tingVery nice location, flat pitch, TV - possible!Negative tingToo expensive! Price-performance ratio is not right in comparison with many pitches in Germany, France and other countries.Nice place - but too expensiveWe spent the night there from September 14 to 15, 2014. All conditions are actually good. The payment machine was broken and we had to pay at the valley station of the glacier cable car. A price per night for in the season for 28 € and now for 24 € per night I think is exorbitant. The price-performance ratio is no longer right here. In Germany there are places of comparable quality for about half the price!Automatisk oversatt.
- Katharina R.March 2014We stayed at the campsite for two days in March 2014. We liked the short distance to the gondola. The sanitary facilities were in top condition. Unfortunately, the pitch is not asphalted. Our motorhome was standing in the mud. Everything was correspondingly dirty ... What a shame! Otherwise it would be the best place for winter camping that I know.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Caravan Park Schnals - Senales March 23, 2014Dear Ms. Riwola,
Thank you very much for your positive review. On the subject of the pitch surface: We have deliberately decided not to asphalt this pitch in the middle of the mountains. Normally, the gravel surface dries quickly after rainfall due to the sunny location of the pitch. This winter we... had extreme amounts of snow in Val Senales - over 6 meters of fresh snow in total. Unfortunately, you caught exactly the three days for your vacation when it got extremely warm very quickly, so that the still frozen ground needed some time to drain the enormous amounts of water. We hope that you will have better luck on your next visit. At the moment there is already 20 cm of powder snow on the pitch again and it is snowing ...Automatisk oversatt. - Chiara Z.February 2014After reading the various positive reviews about the rest area , we decided to stay there. It would be necessary to indicate with a sign which is the entrance of the rest area and which is the entrance of the thermal power plant above the river otherwise with the dirty road you just lose time. A turn... entered only a few pitches were usable and free of snow. To get to the ski slopes and the" center " you have to go up a flight of stairs that unfortunately looks like a slide of snow and ice, you can not even distinguish which are the steps, you would have to arm yourself with a pickaxe to be able to make them. One question: but is the water drain and water load submerged by snow like the stairs???? Because we didn't find it( I took several photos but they can't be posted). That said 24€ is just too much for this kind of serviZio.Automatisk oversatt.
- Cl. W.November 2013The site has a top location for hiking or skiing. There are not many motorhome sites where it is possible to start directly from the mobile home. If necessary, there are hourly buses to the valley. The handling is uncomplicated, there is a small grocery store and there are also restaurants. Unfortunately, the W LAN did not work out so well.Automatisk oversatt.

- Rolf S.January 2013Great location, good snow conditions due to the altitude, sometimes it was very slippery on the pitch, especially on the stairs (a little grit works wonders), unfortunately it is to be criticized that many dog owners forget to clear away the "poops" of their pets or camouflage them with snow, every post... is marked yellow, many dogs run free and at 8.30 a.m. at the latest you are woken up by barking. I am also a dog owner but a little consideration would be appropriate. This is not a criticism of the site, just a reminder to dog owners. Because when there is little snow the whole thing looks unapetilich.Automatisk oversatt.
