The wash house was clean at all times. Showering with a shower token is a bit awkward, but fine.
There is good free W LAN and very tasty bread rolls.
It was a pity that the restaurant on site was not open at our time, but there are two very good restaurants within walking distance.

It's actually quite nice in the countryside.
But not only is there a lack of cleanliness, it's a complete disaster.
They clean once a day!
That's not enough when it's fully booked.
The children's entertainment with the circus was actually very nice.
The water was infested with cyanobacteria!
The adjoining restaurant was a disaster.

We received a very nice welcome and were helped immediately because our reserved pitch was too small for our caravan. We were immediately offered a new pitch. The washroom was clean and everyone kept to the rules with masks.
All the permanent campers were also very nice.... The campsite is very well laid out and there are plenty of places to lie by the lake in summer. Car helpful for shopping. We were on a slope, where a lot has to be leveled. No parcelling, relatively small areas and when the weather is nice you stand close together. Only 3 water points for 38 pitches. As the trend seems... to be towards two dogs, there are an alarming number of dogs on the site when there are a lot of guests, the barking is very annoying. Garbage can be disposed of twice a day for 1 hour each time. Unfortunately, permanent campers park their cars on free pitches, so the VIEW becomes a CAR VIEW. On weekends and when there are a lot of guests, the bad-tempered cleaner probably stops working in the wash house.Automatisk oversatt.

The whole area was super clean and well maintained. I can't understand why some people criticize the cleanliness here. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day and there are plenty of them. Otherwise everyone is super nice,... friendly and helpful from the DLRG, surf school, kiosk, restaurant to the cleaning lady. A lot of value is placed on tidiness here and it's simply a paradise for children! We spent 10 days here at the campsite and are definitely planning to come back. Unfortunately, the lake is now covered in blue-green algae due to the persistent heat, but it's nobody's fault that it just doesn't want to rain. The location on the lake with a large sunbathing lawn, separation of non-swimmer and swimmer areas, lifeguard, chip shop directly on the sunbathing lawn and restaurant just a few steps away is great. The store at the campsite is very well equipped... and sells all kinds of delicious baked goods and chilled drinks, as well as everything you need for camping. The sanitary facilities are clean, but 3 showers are a bit tight at peak times. However, the shower time with shower token is excellent. The thing that leads to a downgrade for us are the rather small pitches, you are pretty much squatting on top of each other. What kind of morality is this?? that allows day guests to have any dogs and... denies this to those who would pay for the whole year? All the bags for the "business" are there and the dog owners of a permanent pitch would probably pay even more attention to this than day guests do. Camping is camping and therefore different to hotels and the like. The surrounding area is certainly attractive, if you don't take the Allgäu or Lake Constance etc. as a comparison, but even the friendly people we met won't be able to justify the double standards of this campsite in the long term. Either everyone without dogs/animals or everyone with dogs/animals...including "everyone" are day guests/weekend/permanent campers. Nobody should have to make a death decision just to be allowed to rent a permanent pitch in Nieder-Moos! To the other things: Somewhat stressed reception, value for money: you can also stay in the nearby guesthouse for the daily rate. First of all, we are pleased that you like our campsite ("generally a really nice campsite"). However, we cannot understand the polemical way in which you criticize us.
Nobody is forcing you to euthanize your dog or to make a "death decision". As with every offer you come across, ours... just doesn't seem to fit in with your life situation. You can simply opt for another offer that suits you. I can't imagine you would rate every hotel, or outdoor pool or other offer where dogs are banned in the same way. We therefore consider the language you use here to be highly inappropriate.
But now back to the details and the accusation that we are applying double standards. You seem to be getting things mixed up. Dogs are prohibited on our sunbathing lawn for day and beach visitors, just as they are in any outdoor pool. That is certainly understandable.
Tourists who visit us for camping can also bring their dog with them. Of course, these dogs are also not allowed in the bathing area.
In principle, we also have permanent guests who own a dog. However, the world here is not as black and white as you paint it "Camping is camping". Believe it or not, our guests include dog owners as well as guests without dogs. As a certain number of tenants already have a dog, we have decided not to accept any more permanent tenants with dogs at the moment. This leads to a much more relaxed stay for existing tenants without dogs, but also for those with dogs. As owners, this is our free decision - in the interests of all our guests - just as it is your free decision to look for a vacation offer that suits you.

The pitches are very cramped, even our comfort pitch was the smallest we've ever had. The restaurant on site was very good. However, you should book in advance for the peak times. The price-performance ratio is not good, as showers and electricity have to be added. There is no WiFi and the cell phone reception is also poor, depending on the provider.
