You get used to it, but you hear it again and again.Great for children and familiesWe are now in our third year here. The children just love it (now 16 and 8 years old). The older one can SUP and the playground on land and in the water with the raft is always a highlight for the little one. The go-karts for hire are always in great demand and the indoor playground is also great in... bad weather. We hardly got to see our boy during the day - he always found a direct connection.
The swimming islands with trampoline and climbing wall are also always a highlight.
The pitches are ok in terms of size. However, we don't have a very large caravan.
Fresh bread rolls and eggs every day. The medical stores are all quite new and nicely designed. We were told to pay on arrival. However, cash is required and card payment is not accepted. Unfortunately, we didn't have that much cash with us. That's why it was agreed that we would pay on departure. My... expectation is that you should be able to pay by card everywhere these days, especially when it comes to larger sums of money that you don't usually have with you. So we had to make another unscheduled trip to Neumünster and look for an ATM. This was very annoying. It was also inconvenient that the sanitary facilities are locked and you need a key. Four of us had one key, which was sometimes quite inconvenient and really annoyed us. But that was all the criticism we had. Otherwise it is a very nice place. The sanitary facilities looked freshly renovated and are visually appealing. There is a children's bathroom in one wash house and family showers in another wash house. Showering is included in the price, shower tokens are not required. The "cooking and laundry room" is older and could be renovated. An old electric stove with oven is available for cooking, which can be used for a coin.
The site has a great swimming lake and a large playground for the children. There is even an indoor playground, but this is only open to children up to the age of 9.
You can order bread rolls and buy fresh eggs and ice cream at reception. However, there is no store. However, there are vending machines where you can buy sweets and soft drinks.
There is a snack bar on site, which we didn't try but made a good impression. There is a very nice restaurant within walking distance in the village where we ate.

No reservation was necessary. The pitches are large and the staff were very friendly.
The BAB is in sight, but for us it was hardly disturbing. You can talk everywhere at a normal volume. There are two modern and intact playgrounds. There is... also an indoor play hall. All the sanitary facilities are very modern.
There was obviously a little less cleaning due to the season. However, the "dirt" is made by the camper and not the staff. We can and will recommend the campsite with a clear conscience.

On arrival, everything went really well after making a reservation in advance. We were given a pitch in the area of the vacation pitches, which are separated from each other by hedges.
The site is very, very child-friendly. From the swimming lake with trampoline and... climbing mountain, to the playground, which is really well designed. There is also an indoor area for bad weather. You can also fish in the lake, which is separate from the bathing area. The proximity to the highway can be heard depending on the wind direction. However, it's not too bad. The sanitary facilities are clean and really well designed! You can pick up something cheap at the snack bar or eat there on the terrace.
Stand up paddle, hoverboards, everything is available for hire. We had a relaxing week here.

It was only a few steps to the sanitary building, which made a clean and modern impression. The swimming lake, children's area and playground were all close by and our girls had a lot of fun there. The night's sleep was fine, but you can still hear the nearby highway and the railroad line. The bread roll service in the morning worked well, but otherwise the gastronomic offer directly at the campsite is rather limited (snack bar with fast food at the bathing lake, otherwise drinks supply at the reception). There is also a railroad line within earshot. I didn't sleep a wink all night. Next time we'd better drive a few kilometers further so that we can sleep. The sanitary... facilities were not the latest but ok. It was clean and showers were included in the price. The pitch was fine. Water taps and electricity connections were sufficient and available in the immediate vicinity of the pitch. If you don't mind the noise, you can certainly spend the night here on your journey north.
