"Beautiful place - Very nice campsite for the whole family. We were there at Whitsun and were surprised how quiet it was on this long weekend. The Paltz was full even the large meadow was full but you didn't notice that the sanitary facilities were always clean and the staff were always friendly. There was a lot on offer there was a flea market on the Paltz and there was also a festival.

"Nice quiet place - Overall beautiful and well suited for anglers, the water is incredibly clear, thumbs up. The site is definitely busy with 75% permanent campers, but they are all incredibly hospitable and nice.

"A beautiful place with potential, but there is still a long way to go. - We spent our first summer vacation here with our 3 children (we are usually early or late season campers) and were very impressed with the price-performance ratio. The reception area has been redesigned and is very inviting. We had the most expensive pitch with a private bathroom that we could book and paid just under €500 plus electricity for a good week in the peak season. In return, we had a great pitch at the end of a permanent campers' settlement right on the water with its own bathroom and all connections, which was really great! However, it also felt a bit isolated from the rest of the campers. The site is huge and offers lots of things to do. You can see that a lot is being done to make the site attractive, BUT there is still a long way to go! Sometimes it's the little things that could be done without a lot of effort and would immediately brighten up the picture. We can't say anything about the sanitary facilities in general, our private bathroom was still quite new and therefore okay with toilet, shower, washbasin and covered outdoor sink, but I suspect that due to the cheap construction, it won't stay that way for long. There were lots of great activities for the children, from entertainment to the many playgrounds and the inexpensive rental facilities to the swimming lake. I won't rate the location, I know that when I go there and the site operator has no influence on it, but I would like to mention it, the site is geographically convenient for exploring the area between Cuxhaven and Bremen, but also somewhere in the middle of nowhere, which means that you actually always need your car to go shopping and you have to rely on the site's own store to get fresh bread rolls. That's okay. On the other hand, we liked the restaurant, great nice service and the prices were reasonable.

"Promises a lot and delivers little - We are here in August 23 and are not happy about our choice of pitch. According to the homepage it is supposed to be 120 square meters, but it is only 100 square meters including private sanitary facilities. We only managed to get the caravan onto the pitch in a very cramped position as there is still a supply shaft at the edge. The water connection was only usable for us after three times complaining. In some places there are old car tires in the green and other plastic waste. All in all, we cannot recommend the place. Too bad that this summer vacation turned out this way this time.

"Family camping with everything you need***** - A family-run campsite with attention to detail. Awakened from a deep slumber, every effort is made here to conjure up a dream vacation for all family members. Whether it's the lake, the children's entertainment, theme parties, a free-range area for the dog or a good home-style restaurant. Nothing is missing and there is always something new. 1 wash house has been completely renovated, the second is under construction and on its way to becoming an oasis of well-being.
