- Markus S.September 2020Positive tingVery nice operator Large pitches Great restaurant on siteNegative tingThe wing noise is unfortunately clearly audibleGreat place for those looking for peace and quietWe were guests for 4 nights in Sept. The site offers extremely large pitches with electricity and water supply. There is plenty of shade on most of the pitches. Only the airplanes from the nearby Pisa Airport are clearly audibleAutomatisk oversatt.
- pierre A.September 2019Positive tingLocation. Close to Livorno harbor, 20 min from the port. Lake and in the middle of nature. Good pizzas.Negative tingAccess is through a Nomansland,Beautiful campsite near LivornoVery pleasant campsite near the port city of Livorno. Conveniently located for the early morning ferry to Corsica/Sardinia/Elba. Nice staff. Restaurant on site. A natural island.Automatisk oversatt.
- Heiko S.August 2019Positive tingGood option before ferry passageNegative tingInfrastructure somewhat poorPlace near ferry LivornoWe stopped here for an overnight stay before our trip to Sardinia. Unfortunately it was a Monday, so the restaurant was closed. We drove to nearby Pisa for a meal. Nice large pitches, access to the site as already described, at the end over gravel and before that over a mogul slope. You just have to drive slowly, then no problem. Unfortunately no store nearby.Automatisk oversatt.
- Ulrike K.July 2019Positive tingClose to Livorno and Pisa. Nice reception, beautiful pitches, pool.Negative tingAirport nearby, sanitary facilitiesPerfect stopover for ferry to Livorno or close to PisaWe use this place to catch the ferry from Livorno the next morning. The route is a little difficult to find and the road is not the best. But the campsite is signposted. A small, cozy place on a small lake with beautiful parceled pitches. The reception is very friendly and always available by email.... We also ordered bread rolls in advance by email and received them fresh the next morning. There is a restaurant right on the site that serves delicious pizza (unfortunately closed except Mondays). The sanitary facilities are very basic and unfortunately don't smell particularly good, but they are clean. Due to the proximity to the airport and the highway, the site is unfortunately not very quiet. For us, it was an inexpensive, idyllic way to spend the night near Pisa and Livorno (ferry).Automatisk oversatt.
- Katja L.April 2019Positive tingClose to the livorno ferry, large pitches, dog-friendly, Idyllically laid outNegative tingSlight aircraft noise, old toiletsOn the way to the ferryWe spent one night here on the way to Corsica. The site is beautifully laid out with lots of hedges and trees. The front rows have a view of the lake. We received a warm welcome and were able to choose our own pitch. The pitches are very large and straight. The toilets are basic and dated, but very clean.... You can hear the airplanes from the nearby airport, but that didn't bother us too much. There are plenty of opportunities to walk your dog here.Automatisk oversatt.
- Stefan R.August 2017Positive tingProximity to Pisa and LivornoNegative tingLittlePerfect stopoverWe used this campsite to wait for our ferry to Corsica. We arrived at 04.00 and used the pitches in front of the reception which also have electricity. You can be in Livorno or Pisa in about 15 minutes. The site is quiet except for the airplanes flying to Pisa, which didn't bother us. The sanitary facilities... are simple but O.K. We got a pizza at the adjoining restaurant and didn't regret it, absolutely TOP!!! In many reviews, the access road is described as not drivable, we have an older alcove motorhome (7m long and 3.20m high) and it was no problem to cope with the 1.5km long gravel road! We have seen worse roads in Greece or Sardinia, a motorhome can also get dusty!Automatisk oversatt.
- Hubert K.April 2017Not found...(Fortunately) didn't find the place, although we were probably standing right in front of it. Miserable and sometimes misleading signposting. Unreasonably bumpy approach even with SUV only at walking pace.Automatisk oversatt.
- Alima M.August 2016Positive tingRecommended restaurant Children: feeding horses, kayaking, pool, fishing, feeding ducks no crowds friendly operatorsNegative tingAircraft and highway noise Clean toiletswe were there 2 timesWe were there before and after the ferry crossing. What attracted us the second time was the delicious food in the restaurant at great prices. We easily made the 8 a.m. ferry from there. Getting there was no problem for us thanks to Google Maps, beautiful pine avenues. The last part of the gravel road... is dusty but well surfaced. We used the kayaks without any problems, stroked horses and fished (but only caught freshwater crayfish). There are a lot of airplanes flying into Pisa, which I wasn't aware of. You can also hear the highway quite loudly when the wind comes from that direction. The owner is very friendly, but you shouldn't be in a hurry on vacation, she can sometimes be later than announced. The restaurant serves very tasty regional products: Organic yogurt, olive oil, wine, cheese, fruit.... There were significantly more guests during our second stay, so unfortunately the sanitary facilities were not as clean....Automatisk oversatt.
- Maria O.August 2016Positive tingPeace and quiet beautiful parking space (half lawn/half gravel) separated by small hedgesNegative tingHorrible access route Bad sanitary facilities Constant aircraft noise (2 airports) Far to the beach+and townConvenient but in the flight path of 2 airportsLast week we (2 people) visited the campsite. Unfortunately, we arrived so late that we had nowhere else to go. The last 5 km to the campsite lead either past the gypsy quarter or completely over an unpaved "dirt road" (not possible for caravans/motorhomes!). Furthermore, the airport of Pisa is not far... away and you are in the flight path from there. In addition, the military airport is less than 2 km away as the crow flies and the big planes fly right over your head. No entertainment possible). Sanitary facilities are underground. Rust everywhere. The washing machines are old. The only positive thing: the washbasins (they seem to be new). There is a small swimming pool (included in the price, we didn't use it - I can't judge), there are kayaks (also included in the price - unfortunately 6 of the 8 are broken (leaking water) and the other two absolutely stink). You can fish and kayak in the lake - swimming is not allowed. It is 14 km to Pisa and 12 km to the sea. The campsite only serves bread rolls in the morning (which you have to order the day before). No shopping facilities.Automatisk oversatt.
- Andreas W.June 2016Positive tingPleasant location. Cleanliness.Negative tingBumpy access road. No swimming at the lake.Ideal place for the Livorno ferryOn our trip to Corsica, we made a stopover at Lago di Tamerici, as you can stay there for a stopover outside the permanent pitches and still use the sanitary facilities. The site itself is clean and in an idyllic location on a small lake, but unfortunately you are not allowed to swim in it. However,... there is a pool, which is closed from 7 pm. The sanitary facilities are very basic, but were very clean at the time of our stay. There is a small restaurant next to the site, which was unfortunately closed at the time of our visit (Monday). The access road to the site is a bit bumpy and also quite dusty. The location of the site is worth considering spending a few more days there.Automatisk oversatt.
- Franz T.June 2016Positive tingCheap, clean, quietNegative tingAccess roadsSuperThe access roads are a disaster. That was it with the negative comments. The reception was very friendly. The pitches are big enough. There is a small restaurant on the campsite where you can eat well. It's no problem at all with the dogs and there's plenty of room for them to run around. The price-performance ratio is very good. A place to recommendAutomatisk oversatt.
- Kislinger W.September 2015Positive tingBeautiful plotsNegative tingBut access is no problem with GBS coordinatesVery pleasant CP.The access is complicated the CPplatz is always open u.wenn the reception is not occupied you can drive in and register later, the plots are large and just very good drinking water at each place only the electricity is weak secured.WoMo`s should have at least bicycles with them because there is nothing within a radius of 10 km.Automatisk oversatt.
- Robert K.June 2014Positive tingbeautiful plots; top restaurantNegative tingNoise, bumpy arrivalOK for an overnight stayBeautiful location on a lake - but swimming is prohibited there! But there is a lovely pool, wooden terrace and sun loungers. The pitches are quite large and separated from each other by low hedges; some pitches have small gravelled areas, some have practical shady roofs. The sanitary building is very... nice, clean and modern; there are washing machines and a dryer for hire! The restaurant is quaintly furnished and has a good menu with plenty of choice - all organic, quite cheap, very friendly service (boss himself)! There is also an extra pitch for mobile homes in front of the campsite - with WC, shower, supply and disposal! There are some mobile homes to rent, wifi is free, no store on site - bread can be pre-ordered at reception! The drawbacks: Aircraft noise; railroad line and highway close by; geese; access road sometimes quite bumpy!Automatisk oversatt.
- Helmut K.April 2014Small campsite from which you can easily get to Pisa by bike. The approach is adventurous and leads partly over very bad roads. The highway is far enough away so that it does not disturb, the aircraft noise from the nearby airfield is not disturbing, no flying at night. Pitches very spacious by Italian... standards, water on site. Sanitary facilities not modern but always clean. Very nice staff, helpful. Bread roll service, meat and sausage from own production. We stayed there for a week and went on various sightseeing tours and excursions from there. The campsite is well suited for this. The other guests also mainly used the site for shorter stays.Automatisk oversatt.
- Uwe Horst F.July 2013A paradise for friends of real camping! Super nice operators, absolutely friendly "repeat offenders" as fellow campers and a fantastic region! We can only warmly recommend this site, as we have already spent three three-week vacations here! We'll be going there again next year!Automatisk oversatt.
- Michał D.July 2013Arriving at this campsite you will feel the atmosphere of real Italy - a road like an avenue among cypresses and olive trees, a palace on the way and all a short distance from Pisa. The campground is very cheap compared to others in Italy and the standard does not differ from the rest. There is a lake,... a swimming pool and low-flying planes. There are no trees on the site strictly for tents, which is quite a problem. In addition, for the entire campsite there are only 3 shower rooms and 3 women's toilets (the same for men), which is a major inconvenience and causes queues around 7 pm.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jörg K.August 2012Very quiet site, still under construction, but already very advanced (2012), access via sometimes very bumpy roads/paths, close to Pisa and LivornoAutomatisk oversatt.
- Robert F.August 2011A very quiet campsite that is ideal for the last night before or after the ferry in Livorno. There is little shade but the pitches are large. You can only shop at the farms in the area. The restaurant is excellent, be sure to try the T-bone steak from the open grill!!!. The operators are very friendly... and helpful and if there is no space they have a few overnight pitches with electricity in front of the campsite. Only the sanitary facilities are small and not always cleanAutomatisk oversatt.
