not a playground:
The adventure playground "Räuberhöhle" (robbers' cave), approx. 2,000 m2 in size, with tunnels, towers, a water feature, labyrinth and much more, is nestled directly on the site in the forest.
Balance bike and bicycle:
Thankfully, permanent campers... have tried to make you understand that the behavior of your always unsupervised 3-year-old daughter is quite reckless. She almost had an accident when uncontrollably hurtling down a steep side road on her balance bike.
The next day, a girl with a balance bike was "dropped off" at the neighboring miniature golf course and was found crying in the village of Hocha (almost 2 km from the campsite).
We picked up your daughter there and handed her over to you.
Garden tools:
The working hours of our janitors start at 09:00. Accordingly, the noise does not start at 08:00.
Irrespective of this, it is in the nature of things that shrubs/fences in a business that is open 365 days a year have to be cut while guests are present.
Electrical distribution not permitted:
not applicable
Washrooms from 1.80 not clean:
without words
Pensioners' camp:
We have a totally mixed "audience" here - families, young and new campers, old pros and seniors, motorhome owners, caravan enthusiasts, tenters and permanent campers. We are proud of all our guests and the good atmosphere that always prevails on the site.Automatisk oversatt. - Harry H.July 2023Positive tingPositive: Very nice reception. Large pitches. Great sanitary building (upstairs). Very nice area. There are clear rules with dogs -- is accepted and known beforehand, but .... Negative: Everything to do with dogs is kind of crass. In the area on the north side of the lake (from the end... of the campsite to the mini golf course) there is virtually nowhere to even get close to the lake. I'm not even talking about the dog beach. The entire lower part of the campsite is also completely off-limits to dogs. Even emptying the chemical toilet downstairs, which is closer for many pitches (about 20m from the lower entrance), is punished immediately. Even the terrace of the restaurant is cordoned off and lined with no-dog signs. The dog-free zone to the east of the lake (probably necessarily approved by the local authority) is no real consolation.Automatisk oversatt.
- Udo + Erika V.June 2023Positive tingEverythingNegative tingnonewonderful vacationThis was our fourth time at the campsite this year. It's very quiet and you can still do a lot. That alone makes the campsite very nice.
What's important is that the people who run the campsite are simply great. They always have an open ear. They help immediately if you have a problem, no matter how... big or small. They are always friendly. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. The sanitary facilities are always clean. No matter how many people were on the site.Automatisk oversatt. - Dirk E.January 2023Positive tingQuiet location on the lake Direct access to the lake Restaurant on site Buns can be ordered on site for the next day (order service) Family run Friendly staff Mobile homes available Vacation homes available WLAN available Bavarian cozy Mini golf nearby Tennis court nearby Thermal baths with sauna nearby Guest cardNegative tingThere are none for us. We are very satisfied and are always happy to come back.Very nice family-run campsiteA beautifully located campsite. Easy to reach. Family-run and very friendly staff. Sanitary facilities partly new and always well maintained/clean. We go there regularly and look forward to it every time. Very nice owners who look after their guests.
Many cycle paths in and around Waldmünchen as well... as numerous hiking trails. Maps and information are available at reception or at the Waldmünchen tourist office.
Many hiking trails and a beautiful circular route around the Perlsee. The circular trail around the nearby Silbersee lake is also recommended.Automatisk oversatt. - Julia S.June 2022Positive ting-the place at the lake -very quiet-not crowded -beautiful new wash house -clean -friendly teamNegative ting--Nice simple campsiteVery nice campsite on the Perlsee.
We had our pitch right by the lake. It was immediately taken care of whether the driveway worked. Great service. Very friendly reception team and cleaning team.
Everything was very clean. The upper wash house has been renovated and is really nice.
For children there... is a great big playground "Räuberhöhle" next to the campsite, which is accessible to everyone.
The campsite itself also has a small playground.
We felt very comfortable.
Thank youAutomatisk oversatt. - Familie S.April 2022Positive tingVery nice place by the lake huge, delicious bakery rolls (bread service) clean sanitary facilities beautiful landscape good leisure facilities very friendly campsite owners with helpful tipsNegative tingNo disadvantages foundRest and relaxation in MayWe were on this very quiet site over the May holidays. At the beginning of May we were actually 2 transit campers on the site. It was almost eerily quiet. A miracle given the current camping trend and the great location. We wanted for nothing during this time. The operator gives you tips for excursions... and there is plenty of information material available. During our stay, the restaurant at the campsite reopened and we were able to spend a lovely evening in the new beer garden.
We would come back here again.Automatisk oversatt. - Ilona K.April 2022Positive tingTop price-performance ratio, ACSI Card, friendly and cordial owners who take care of the guest's well-beingNegative ting-none -Quiet place by the lakeQuiet, tasty bread rolls, friendly owners, clean sanitary facilities, bus connections, various leisure activities, pitches towards the lake a bit sloppyAutomatisk oversatt.
- Wolfgang E.July 2021Positive tingVery friendly initial telephone contact for bookings at short notice.Negative tingNone found, possibly the sound of the restaurant is clearly audible in the upper seats. But everything is quiet from 10 pm.Successful short vacationGreat campsite, with lots of goodies, everything very well equipped.
It starts with good facilities in toilets, showers and wash-up blocks.
All areas are equipped with plenty of paper, liquid soap and paper towels. Everything can be accessed contactlessly via sensors.
Absolutely very well run, with a... full-blooded owner couple.
All wishes were fulfilled whenever possible. Oh yes, there was the Perlsee water, very high percentage.
You should always take a bottle with you.
Keep it up, see you again soon.....Automatisk oversatt. - Eva-Marie S.August 2020Positive tingThe upper sanitary area is very cleanNegative ting- Not dog friendly - No information that the restaurant is closed - No shopping facilitiesnot dog-friendly, restaurant closed - misleading websiteUnfortunately, we were very disappointed with the campsite.
We were there this summer with the camper. 2 adults, 2 children and a dog. We chose the site because dogs are allowed there. However, the site is not dog friendly. There is no area from the campsite where dogs are allowed on the water. Only... next to the campsite where it was difficult for the children to get into the water. There was also no area where the dogs were allowed to run freely like a dog meadow, which is why all dog owners walked the same walkway on the road where there were no dog toilets. I think that if a campsite is also allowed for dogs, there should also be dog-friendly facilities, such as dog toilets, an accessible exercise area and an associated dog beach, so that families with dogs and children can meet both needs.
We were also very disappointed that there is no information on the website that the restaurant is permanently closed. On the website it looks as if it is still open. I find that misleading. The link just doesn't redirect, which is why I don't have to conclude that the entire restaurant no longer exists. We also criticized this at the reception that we assumed something else. And the site also suggests this. The answer was yes, the restaurant had burned down and no longer had a tenant. So far, nothing has been changed on the website. So my criticism has not been accepted in any way. I find that unprofessional.
Our conclusion:
Very clean and well-kept place. No restaurant. No shopping facilities on site. Only a kiosk with fast food, which was always sold out (ice cream) - very disappointing for the children.
Dogs are tolerated. However, I cannot recommend the campsite to dog owners as I did not find it dog-friendly.
We won't be going there again.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Ferienpark Perlsee Camping September 22, 2020Dear camper,
As I believe you are disproportionately disparaging our campsite, I would like to "take a stand" on your comments.
Since it has been possible to foresee approximately when and how the externally managed restaurant can be used again, also with regard to the current Corona situation, the... corresponding information can also be found on our homepage.
Another dog toilet has now been installed on the square.
But even before that, the central "waste disposal point" was only a few meters away from the dog area of the campsite.
The upper area of the campsite borders directly on a forest - the lower area directly on the Perlsee lake.
There is a circular hiking trail around the Perlsee.
There are extensive fields and meadows.
Two thirds of the Perlsee are freely accessible to dogs, and there is an area on the "wild side" where you can go swimming with your four-legged friend.
Both locals and our campers make good use of this.
Only the bathing spots in the beach area are closed to dogs.
The distance to the nearest "dog area" on the lake is less than 400 meters.
The "dog beach side" can be reached in a few minutes on foot.
This means that from the dog's point of view (they are usually happy to be allowed to run a few meters), the site and the surrounding area are definitely dog-friendly.
This is usually also stated by our guests.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you (shopping facilities, restaurant) after a major fire through no fault of your own and Corona-related restrictions.
Almost all guests were very positive about the "kiosk-beer garden landscape" installed for this purpose.Automatisk oversatt. - Martina D.May 2020Positive tingVery friendly reception Bread roll serviceNegative tingNONENew owner since 2020 - absolutely greatOn 30.05.2020, the campsites were finally allowed to open after the corona lockdown.
First of all, I would like to praise the fact that everyone here really adhered to the obligation to wear face masks.
The lower part of the campsite offers a wonderful view of Lake Perl.
The sanitary building makes... a very well-kept and clean impression. I thought my pitch was big enough.
You can start beautiful hikes directly from the campsite. The circular lake trail leads through a wonderful landscape. Absolutely relaxing.
The bread roll service is great. The bread rolls still come from a "real" baker. Very tasty.
There were two stalls next to the square selling drinks, currywurst, bratwurst and water buffalo burgers. Highly recommended.Automatisk oversatt. - Heike H.September 2019Positive tingLots of peace and quietNegative tingToilets not cleaned ! No bread serviceActually a nice placeThe pitches are very uneven, you have to drive on ramps. The sanitary facilities downstairs are in need of renovation. We left after three days because the toilets weren't even cleaned in that time. No bread service in mid-September.Automatisk oversatt.
- Hans G.August 2019Positive tingbeautiful location, good hiking possibilitiesNegative tingactually nothing that was annoying. It fitsRough but warmIt's a special breed of people in the Bavarian Forest. Not unfriendly, but very businesslike, short and crisp. Especially in the restaurant, the tone is not exactly obliging, but maybe we just had a bad day. Food was good, pitches ok but always slightly sloping, walks good, cycling too. Reception friendly, everything ok. All in all, gladly again.Automatisk oversatt.

- Elke R.June 2018Short tripWe stayed at the campsite for 1 night. The pitch we were allocated was very small. We had the feeling that guests were not welcome for just one day. The friendliness of the owner left a lot to be desired. It's a shame because the campsite is in a very nice location. However, we won't be staying there again but would rather go a little further where short-term guests are also welcome.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Ferienpark Perlsee Camping June 13, 2018We're sorry that you took it that way.
We always allocate our guests the pitches that are easiest to place/most horizontal when staying for one or two nights. In addition, your pitch was directly opposite the sanitary building - which we always see as an advantage for our guests traveling through.
You could have chosen another free pitch at any time.Automatisk oversatt. - Siegfried H.May 2018Positive tingGood and cheap man is always welcomeNegative tingThose who find disadvantages will find them in every place.Simply top for young and oldFor 21 years always pure relaxation, even in bad weather many possibilities for leisure activities, staff always friendly and helpful.Automatisk oversatt.

- Matthias L.August 2017Positive ting-Lake -Playground -Region and locationNegative ting-Sanitary facilities could be renewedShort vacationWe, a family with a 2 year old son, stayed for 4 nights with the caravan on the CP. The location is very nice directly on the lake in a great environment. Despite the high season, we were able to choose between different pitches. We opted for the upper part of the site as the pitches there are a bit... more level. In the lower area, you have to dig a lot to stand up straight. The sanitary facilities in the upper area are getting on in years, but were always clean. The operators were always friendly. We can't say anything about the restaurant, we only used the bread roll service. All in all a nice short vacation in a beautiful region. A few renovation works at the campsite would certainly not do any harm and would only do the whole thing good.Automatisk oversatt.
