Fjällnäs Camping & Lodges is located on Lake Malmagen in the middle of beautiful nature. A friendly campsite with 25 pitches and 3 apartments. In the summer it hardly gets dark with us. You can enjoy endless views. The reindeer …walk over our campsite or rest on the grassland. Our campsite is situated on the N84, a beautiful route to Norway. Our campsite is open all year round: summer and winter. Fjällnäs Camping & Lodges is the perfect place for peace seekers and active holidaymakers. Several walks start from the campsite in the fjälls. You can also rent fatbikes, canoes and rowboats. A visit to the Sami village of Mittådalen is worthwhile. In Tännäs you can stand eye to eye with impressive musk oxen. Just across the border in Norway is the historic town of Røros which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Fjällnäs is the birthplace of Swedish winter sports. In 1882 the first winter sports tourists came to this beautiful area. It is Scandinavia's largest winter sports area, but it has retained its charm. Fjällnäs is surrounded by unspoilt nature with all the winter sports facilities you could wish for. Our campsite is open all year round. The campsite has 20 pitches with electricity. We also have a separate tent field for hikers and other campers. All pitches have a beautiful view of Lake Malmagen and the fjälls. In the winter season (from October to May) we rent seasonal pitches to winter campers. These are mainly Swedish and Norwegian guests who come back to us every year and enjoy the extensive winter sports opportunities. Under our house is the heated sanitary building with toilets, showers, two separate kitchens, washing machine and separate drying room, drainage for chemical toilet and separate waste collection.
