But there are also other nice playgrounds and sports fields. The sea with a very nice sandy beach is accessible through two gates and via a very little-used path directly at the campsite. The staff were very... friendly. We were surprised that the low season has already started at the beginning of August, which means that the store is completely closed. There are only sweets at the reception, with shortened opening hours, everything else only in the village.
MacGyver-like skills are required for the waste water connections, which consist of fixed concrete covers, each with two openings about the size of two euro coins. None of the sewage hoses that I know of, let alone those that exist, fit through them.
The showers were unpleasantly noticeable and totally inappropriate for a place advertised with 4.5 stars. Even in the fairly new and very nice sanitary facilities, the showers not only have a fixed shower head, but the hot water temperature cannot be adjusted either. Not that this is a problem, but it is not intended. The shower only has a single push button that you have to press every ten seconds or so for lukewarm water to come out. That doesn't work at all.

D.April 2022Positive ting- close to the beach - many activities for children - sheltered location - very nice operator - clean facility including san. building - close to the center - great location for the departure to SwedenNegative ting- nothing can be namedTotal peace and quiet in the pre-season!We arrived at 9pm and wanted to check in outside at the online check-in counter. However, it was not open that evening. However, the owner found out and so we were welcomed in a friendly manner even at 9pm.
The campsite had just opened for the season that day. During the week, we were completely alone... as tourist campers, with just a few permanent campers. You can stand nicely sheltered behind the pinewood. The sanitary blocks were all open and it was also nicely heated, despite the cold temperatures, you didn't freeze in the showers. The campsite has a lot to offer children: horseshoes, a great playground, a pirate ship, covered trampolines and a great forest playground.
We felt very comfortable here. After 11 p.m., everything was closed. But no problem. We received instructions on where to find what from the upper window of reception. "Sleep peacefully, nothing happens here until 9.00 a.m. tomorrow morning". We were able to take a shower and go to... bed in peace. We were standing in front of the barrier, but still in good hands. We were able to move into the last pitch without electricity the next day, which was all we wanted. One walk through the dunes and you're already on the kilometer-long beach. thea t.June 2012The campsite borders directly on the fantastic dune and heathland landscape, which merges into the very beautiful beach. The site is in a quiet location, the team is very friendly and helpful, the sanitary facilities are TOP. The individual pitches are large and water and electricity are always close... by. I do have a few criticisms though: the store was closed during the week, the nearest store is a good 4km away. If you like to eat fresh bread rolls in the morning, you are in the wrong place at this time of year. I did not find a restaurant. In each sanitary building (3) there was exactly 1 socket for blow-drying hair or shaving and it is also quite public in the hallway. During our stay, there was an event at the weekend for which a large tent was set up. This tent also included a power generator the size of a truck trailer. After 24 hours, the sonorous humming got on our nerves so much that we moved on two days early - and we weren't standing right next to the generator.Automatisk oversatt.- Bernd W.August 2011Unfortunately, the already very modest mini-market closed without comment on August 21, so that breakfast supplies such as bread, rolls, newspapers, etc. were no longer available. These things had to be bought from the village. For a 4 star top camp site this condition is unacceptable, especially as... the date was still midsummer, and of course the price remained the same. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the toilets and kitchens deteriorated from the date mentioned above, as cleaning was only sporadic.
