Campsite Iris Parc Le Grand Dague is a lovely family campsite, set in a quiet, green location and yet still close to the city of Perigueux. Its location affords wonderful views over the surrounding valleys. Last year the aqua parc …was extended with the addition of an extra swimming pool (750m2), hydro massage and toddlers' pool. Complete with beaches, an island and a big sun terrace with sunbeds. Even more to enjoy and plenty of space to relax! It's open now! Périgueux, capital of the Périgord (the former name of the Dordogne region) is a successful mix of old and new. The city was founded in 16BC and it seems as though time has stood still here with the narrow streets and impressive cathedral. The campsite is so close to this lovely town that you can easily go there several times during your stay. Périgueux is a place with plenty of parties, including the flower festival in spring, the mime festival in August and the singing contest for the silver truffle.
