- Sven "Knausrich" B.September 2024Positive tingFront row superNegative tingnot completely clean, every pitch is crammed with desperate campersFront row superThis site is once again something special in terms of its location. You stand with your motorhome in the first row directly by the sea. Unfortunately, there is not much of this charm left in the second row. Everything else is available, but this pitch was a bit modern. You can stop here for one or two... nights, especially as a walk to the harbor, into the town or to the Nehaj fortress will keep you entertained. What we noticed here for the first time, however, is that some campers are very undemanding when it comes to getting a pitch and will even accept pitches that aren't actually pitches and will then be accommodated anywhere. During our visit, we paid the prices mentioned for a motorhome including 2 people per night. And remember, motorhome drivers greet each other.Automatisk oversatt.
- Klaus L.April 2019Positive tingProximity to the city and waterfront locationNegative tingvery modest sanitary facilities If you want to leave early, you should pay the evening before. The reception only opens at 9amTown square with strengths and weaknessesIdeal location for visiting the town of Senj and the castle. The old town is only a few minutes' walk from the campsite. The castle requires a little more stamina or you can drive right up to the castle. The sanitary facilities have already been described in detail here and I can only agree with this.... The site was well frequented and unfortunately the cleanliness was not at its best. Shower curtains and only two washbasins at the entrance to the ladies' sanitary facilities are not good at all. For breakfast you can get a large selection of bread rolls from a bakery about four hundred meters away at the harbour.Automatisk oversatt.
- Thomas N.October 2018Positive tingLocationNegative tingNo disposal option for gray waterGreat location for visiting the town of Senje and the Nehaj fortressPitch not far from the town of Senje, 300m. The approx. 40 pitches are very narrow if they are all occupied. However, the location of the site, the pitches in the front row with a view of the sea and the island of Krk, is picturesque. The site offers no disposal facilities for gray water. WC chemicals... are available and there is a fresh water connection at the washing-up area. The pitches are separated by numbers and colored markings. Half of the pitches in front of a wall. Gravel surface. The sanitary facilities, 2 showers with curtains, 2 toilets and a urinal for the men, are simple but clean. There are only hooks for clothes in front of the shower. The water pressure is great and you can adjust the heat and strength of the jet yourself. At the entrance you are greeted by a friendly, corpulent gentleman who then tries to sell olive oil (of good quality) from his friend and homemade slivovitz. But be careful, the slivovitz is more like grappa and high proof. According to his own statement, it is made from grapes! The adjoining restaurant is highly recommended. The town of Senje is well worth a visit and has a remarkable history. The Uskoks lived here in the Middle Ages - please google it. There is a fortress on Mount Nehaj - pronounced Nechai - above the town. Be sure to visit it. It houses a museum, a restaurant and a bar. Admission to the museum is 10 kuna per person (approx. 1.35 euros). We can highly recommend the wine on offer there and the Medica liqueur. In any case, we really enjoyed our stay in OctoberAutomatisk oversatt.
- Sylvia O.August 2018Positive tingWater, restaurant, sanitary facilities, small town, sunset...everything you need for your vacation is thereNegative tingA little traffic noise from the coastal roadPitch directly on the waterNice reception, level gravel pitches right on the water, no shade, but always with a breeze, nice little town, shopping facilities within walking distance, restaurant on site, several beaches 50-100 m, clean sanitary facilities, ideal as a transit site or for several days without much fuss. Coastal road... is above the campsite, sometimes annoying, but the sunset makes up for it !!!! Peak season August 28 per night We wanted to stay 1 night and ended up staying 1 week ;-)Automatisk oversatt.
