- Claudiu M.August 2023Positive tingNothingNegative tingUnprofessional services all around the campsite. You can't even drink one glass of wine without reservation. Out of 50 available tables at the restaurant, the waitress could only recommend a place in the burning sun. The water in the shower was not hot and lacked pressure. - Ma B.May 2019Positive tingThe lagoonNegative tingLack of cleanliness in the sanitary facilities. We had hoped for more!First of all, the grounds are very spacious and beautiful overall. The plots are mostly quite spacious and separated from each other by oleander bushes or other greenery. The pool area is beautiful, the lagoon is really well done and is also the highlight of the resort. The staff are very friendly, communication... is possible in English, sometimes even in German. We were there at the beginning of May, which is low season. There were only a few campers on the site. We stayed a total of 4 nights. The sanitary area was not cleaned once during this period (probably not even before). We were in the area between sanitary buildings 3 and 4 and the cleaners diligently avoided both buildings. Simply disgusting. The day before we left, we mentioned this to reception. They reacted with surprise, but nobody cleaned the following morning. If they didn't open all the sanitary buildings in the low season, we would fully understand, but just letting things go their own way is not acceptable!!! The campsite is outside the village, right next to a barracks. Sometimes you can hear the soldiers singing during their runs, but only during the day. From time to time you could hear rumbling noises, which could have been shooting practice with large caliber. Again, only during the day and not at an annoying level. Many of the adjacent areas may not be entered as they are a restricted military area. Using the washing machine costs €6 per wash load, which is quite expensive. What is annoying are the trees and bushes, some of which protrude far into the paths and scratch the windows and paintwork.Automatisk oversatt.
- Frank B.May 2018Positive tingQuiet location own bathing lagoonNegative tingsimple sanitary facilitiesQuiet, beautifully situated site not far from the coastQuiet, well-run campsite with its own swimming lagoon in the low season. The sanitary facilities are "upscale simple", but clean. The site is located in a forest near a barracks (but we didn't notice it). The reception staff are very helpful, friendly and German-speaking. The mini market offers everything... you need, a discount store is about 5 km away. The on-site restaurant offers delicious food at affordable prices. The beaches by the sea are about 15 km away.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra La Pierre Verte September 19, 2018Thank you for your opinion; we are pleased that you had a nice vacation with us. - Silke & Jörg H.July 2012We went there for our honeymoon with two children. We arrived a day early and only had 2 children instead of the 3 we had booked...and then we added another week after the 2nd day so that we were there for 14 days together ....all no problem, on the contrary. Our wishes when booking were implemented... perfectly. The place is very clean, the sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day (there is hot water around the clock). The staff are super nice and friendly and you can talk to them in almost any language. The prices in the store are also humane ....da you get fresh hot baguettes in the evening at 7.30 pm.....that are heavenly delicious. The evening entertainment went on until midnight and then it was quiet. At night, a security service even drives around the course in a silent golf caddy and keeps an eye on things. The course is beautifully laid out in a wooded area and very well maintained. The individual pitches are large and well separated from each other, the "groundskeeper" is a silent fairy who immediately fixes any dripping taps or other problems. The beach is about 10 minutes away by car and is beautiful. To Saint Tropez you drive about 30 min. to Monaco about 2 hours and it is really worth it. There is a Lidl in Frejus, which has the same prices as we have here in Germany. Oh and to top it all off: THE PLACE IS LOCATED IN A WONDERFUL LANDSCAPE!!!!! We have found our place and come back every year.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra La Pierre Verte January 8, 2019Thank you very much for your opinion. It has touched us! - Lutz H.June 2011La Pierre Verte, Fréjus Via the D4 from Fréjus in the direction of Bagnol en Forêt, you come to the campsite "La Pierre verte". After about 5 km you reach the traffic circle that leads to the 21st regiment of the navy. Turn right there and take a steep descent to the campsite. The site is very spacious... and generously laid out. The impression we got was that the campsite is actually being converted into mobile homes, which the owner wants to rent out himself. We were on the site in early season 2011 at the beginning of June. It was still quite quiet, but became busier from day to day. The reception staff were very friendly and asked what type of pitch we needed. A distinction was made between 6 amp and 10 amp pitches. We chose a pitch on the "high plateau" with 6 amps. The route to the plateau was explained and we were told to choose a pitch to our liking. Later, we were told to let them know which pitch number we had chosen so that they could invoice us. When we arrived, the pitches were bone dry and the red mixture of grit and sand was very dusty. This was soon to change. When it started to rain, the mixture turned into clay and mud, so that everything got dirty. It was almost impossible to get your shoes clean. For a 5 star campsite, I would have expected gravel or other material to have been piled up here to prevent this clay/dust. The sanitary blocks, which were not all open yet, were usable, but not so clean. There were leaves in the open showers. Hair from previous users could also be seen. Shortly after cleaning, the same picture. The pool was open and the multi-purpose pool was heated. The swimmer's pool was open, but so cold that only a few very hardy people went there. The outside area of the pool was in order and without complaint. The garbage was collected in several containers below the reception in an exemplary manner. There were containers for residual waste, glass and paper. We did not use the restaurant and cannot provide any information about it. Conclusion: Five stars for the camper area are not justified here. In my opinion, a maximum of 3 would be awarded. We were not particularly impressed with our stay and would only choose "La Pierre Verte" as our 2nd or rather 3rd choice if we wanted to spend a few days on the Cote d'Azur.Automatisk oversatt.
