Very beautiful location on the banks of the Dordogne

There are only a few pitches with a view of the Dordogne. These are of course very popular! Booking in good time is therefore recommended.
Wonderful location on a bend of the Dordogne river
We stayed at this campsite for two weeks in the 2019 high season. It is run in a friendly and professional manner. The atmosphere on the terrace, but also by the pool and on the pitches is relaxed and informal. A large meadow for tents directly on the banks of the Dordogne with a wonderful view of the tranquil village of Limeuil on the opposite bank is a highlight. ##### This is what a camping friend writes.

Beautiful place by the river
We had a very nice grass pitch close to the river. A very relaxed place with nice guests. Great for swimming directly in the river, canoe station on the Vezère and Dordogne right next door. Great nature, spacious pitch. Soap and ToPa in the sanitary area, everything in good condition. Really one of the much better places.

Simply a great campsite! Beautiful large pitches, nicely separated, surrounded by greenery at the confluence of the Dordogne and Vezere rivers. Ideal for canoe trips, which are also offered directly from the campsite. There are numerous excursions in the area, e.g. the Lascaux cave is not far away, but there is also something interesting to visit around every corner.

Ideal location for river swimming and canoeing
The campsite has direct access to the Dordogne, you can drift along in the current of the river and the canoe rental is just a few meters away. These are the special features of this campsite. The site is spacious, parceled out on grass and with rows of trees. The sanitary facilities are certainly not... brand new and in the peak season they are certainly in short supply. The sports facilities described are all in good condition. However, the swimming pool is a little small. There is a small 'lending library' with board games. The small bistro offers pizza and the usual hamburgers. But also of good quality. If you need something more dignified, you can walk 5 minutes to Limeuil and find all the better categories there. At the end of August there were almost only Brits.

An absolutely recommendable place
One of the most beautiful places we have visited in many years. Very centrally located in the Périgord, right at the confluence of the Vézère and Dordogne rivers.

We loved the site, the location, the pitches - simply everything. It's not a camping factory but romantic camping as we love it. Everyone had fun, the children had plenty to do and we had the peace and quiet, the countryside and lots to see.... Just great
