- Daniela K.June 2022Positive tingSuper nice and very well-kept place.Negative tingUnfortunately, even with English you won't get very far here without a translator app or knowledge of French.Currently on siteIt is very nice here. The only disadvantage is that if you come before July and August there is no season here and the stores close at 8:30 pm at the latest. Unfortunately there is no real entertainment for children who don't speak French. The stage program always runs from 9pm to 11pm and unfortunately this is also completely in French.Automatisk oversatt.
- Guy K.August 2020Positive tingLocation to the beach and pool quite ok, sanitary facilities are ok but nothing special, cleanliness well...Negative ting- Animation too loud until midnight and daily! - No proper security staff to ensure a good night's sleep - no public transport or shuttle bus available for short trips to the villagesno 5 star camping!!!It's just too loud at night! You have to listen to the animation every day until midnight, whether you like it or not! That's a disaster for 5 stars!!! And this despite the fact that I had indicated when I booked that I didn't want a place close to the animation....this was not taken into account! After... midnight there are of course still neighbors who don't stick to anything and they are not disturbed by the pseudo security service! Cars are also allowed in after 11pm! No public transport available, or any other shuttle bus for Cap d'Agde, for example!
Not a relaxing vacation, not even with small children....Party vacation rather...Automatisk oversatt. - Frank K.August 2020Positive tingA beautiful and nearby beachNegative tingExpensive, small parking space, corona rules are not observed, poor serviceProfit maximization and complete disregard for Covid-19 requirements1. our vacation booked in 2019 for 2020 to be moved to 2021 at no cost was rejected by the campsite management.
2. the Corona rules, such as distance, mask requirement were completely disregarded on the campsite: almost no guest (no matter from which country) followed the rules. The restaurant, the... reception, in the store, showers and toilets were almost only entered without a mask. The cleaning intervals for the showers and toilets do not appear to have been increased. Cleaning staff were few and far between. The pitches were completely full, apart from a few pseudo pitches on the street. The worst thing is that the campsite management tolerated this. The employees wore masks, but the guests were not addressed by the staff. During the daily evening events with very many guests, the distances (whether standing or sitting) were constantly disregarded. The main thing was to order and buy enough. This was also apparently dictated by the restaurant management. We felt visibly uncomfortable here and think that some illnesses are carried back to their home town. We hope to have escaped without infection and will avoid this site in future.
3. the allocated pitch for our large caravan and car was so small (just under 60 m2) that our vehicle could no longer be parked there. It must have been about the smallest pitch here. It had to be parked in an area far away. For €1400, a far too expensive parking space, simply unbelievable.
4. otherwise it would have been a nice little pitch with somewhat outdated sanitary facilities. I would have liked to give it more stars, but the first 3 points outweigh the overall picture.Automatisk oversatt. - Frank B.September 2019Positive tingDog showerNegative tingFar too restless for me. Poor signage of disposal options for chemical toilets.Lively place on the MediterraneanI admit it: I'm not part of the target group. We stayed at this campsite for a few days in September 2019 because we couldn't find accommodation at another campsite - a stopgap solution. The site is generally well maintained and in good condition. When we arrived, only a handful of pitches were still... available, so we had to stand right next to the sanitary building in the front area. There was a constant coming and going, both in terms of vehicles and guests using the sanitary facilities. Peace and privacy were out of the question. The infrastructure of the campsite leaves hardly anything to be desired, theoretically we wouldn't have had to leave it for the whole day because you can actually get everything. The events at the bar could not be ignored in the evening, but it was quiet again in time for bedtime. I found the dog shower positive. Less good was the inadequate signage for the disposal facilities for chemical toilets.Automatisk oversatt.
- Andrea Silke F.June 2019Positive tingGood locationNegative tingWith ACSI, ADAC Card small pitches, no parking inside the campsiteBetter than expectedThe campsite is one of a number of campsites in Marseillan Plage. Only small pitches are available with an ACSI Card. Thanks to some nice fellow campers, it was possible to maneuver our large caravan without a mover. We had to park the car outside as it no longer fitted on the pitch. The site is right... next to a beautiful beach. Bakery, stores within the site and also within walking distance outside. The sanitary facilities are nice and mostly clean.Automatisk oversatt.
- Achim W.August 2018Positive tingLocation, infrastructure, pool of the campsite. Base camp for exploring the surrounding area. Restaurant, pizza, takeaway, bakery good. Market too expensive.Negative tingRailroad freight train clearly audible, glass and garbage collection too early and loud, sea too cold, beach not cleanVacation on the 5 star place - well rather 3.5 starsWe were guests at the campsite from the end of August to mid-September. The uncomplicated and smooth booking by e-mail went without a hitch. We swapped the pitch reserved for us for another one. The location of the campsite is well known. It is a good base camp for exploring Sete, Agde, Beziers and Montpellier.... You can even cycle to Sete and Agde. There is one older and two newer sanitary blocks. All are clean and well equipped. (Almost) every shower cubicle also has a washbasin and a waste garbage can. The toilets have glasses, toilet paper and disinfectant available. The outlet for the chemical toilets in the last cubicle by the men's toilets in the new sanitary block is more than inconvenient. This should be solved differently. Some of the pitches are very large with dark sandy ground and many trees provide shade. Electricity and water/waste water are available in a 4-way distributor. Unfortunately, the distributors are not always in the cross of the 4 plots, so that you have to enter the neighbor's plot to turn on the tap or pour out waste water. The waste water cannot be discharged directly there, as a 20 cm edge would stop any outflow of water. The playground and boules courts are on the edge of the square and have no shade. This is not attractive for children. The railroad line is clearly audible late at night and early in the morning. The sweeper drives past the square at 0600 in the morning or the garbage collection, especially the glass collector, makes a hell of a racket. Sleep after 0600 is out of the question. The evening program from 21:00 to about 23:30 was sometimes very good. From 2330 it was quiet. Unfortunately, the sea was just at North Sea temperature with 19 to 21 degrees. Unfortunately, smokers put their butts in the sand and then forget to dispose of them. What a pity. The council should clean and sieve the sand every 2 days. I have seen this in Italy.Automatisk oversatt.
- Uwe L.June 2018Positive tingclean sanitary facilities; friendly staffNegative tingPartly narrow access to the parking spacesBeautiful location on the MediterraneanThe site has direct access to the Mediterranean. Some pitches have a direct sea view. Unfortunately, when we arrived (second row of pitches with sea view) there was still dog excrement on our pitch. If the lawns were mowed more regularly, the pitches would look cleaner in my opinion. The access roads... to the pitches with sea view are sometimes very narrow. The sanitary facilities made a tidy and clean impression and were also very spacious. The shopping facilities on the site are very good and affordable. The pool area is clean and in good condition. There are plenty of opportunities to get to know the country and its people in the surrounding area. The staff at the campsite, including reception, are friendly and helpful.Automatisk oversatt.
- Andreas P.May 2018Positive tingGreat sports facilities, great beach, top food and bar! Close to town, great starting point for bike tours! Offer of the two neighboring places usable!Negative tingnoneBeautifully situated campsite with very good sports and leisure facilitiesWe have been there 5 times in the low season and we always like the site. In the low season, the site is spacious (except for the holiday hotspots) and quiet, and the facilities are complete! The pitches are mostly shady and large enough (we are traveling with WW). The sanitary facilities are only partially... open in the low season, which should be taken into account when choosing a pitch, but there are plenty of them and they are very well maintained. There is a very beautiful and well-kept beach, perfect for a walk. The pool area is also very nice and well maintained. The facilities on the site are extensive and stores and restaurants in the village are within walking or cycling distance. The team at reception is very friendly. We always enjoyed the sports program very much!Automatisk oversatt.
- Jürgen Z.September 2017Positive tingAll facilities invite you to enjoy a relaxing vacationNegative tingNarrow paths and access roads No more free WiFi Showers closed from 23:00Very nice beach place for the low season2013 must have been our 6th or 7th stay (2017 the 7th or 8th) in over 20 years and we always like the place. In the low season, the site is spacious and quiet (in the high season, it is said to be tighter and "livelier"). The pitches are mostly shady and large enough. The sanitary facilities are only... partially open in the low season, which should be taken into account when choosing a pitch, but there are plenty of them and they are very well maintained. Unfortunately, the showers are closed from 23:00 (until??). The site has a very nice and well-kept beach, so I have not yet tested the pool area. The facilities on the campsite are extensive and stores and restaurants in the village can be reached quickly on foot or by bike. The team at reception is very friendly. Update 2017: WiFi was now always chargeable. One problem is the very narrow paths and access roads which are a challenge for trailer drivers. You really appreciate your mover.Automatisk oversatt.
- Björn L.July 2016Positive tingPool facilities Beaches Friendliness of the staff Marseillan PlageNegative tingNoise on the streets at nightWonderful vacation with small lossesWe stayed at this campsite from 20.07.2016 to 10.08.2016. Booking was easy. Arrival well organized. Reception very friendly and helpful and speaks different languages. Pitches are a bit small in places. However, in advance, as part of the booking, the staff helps with the correct selection of a place... with exact size information (thanks to Michel). Trees provide shade on most pitches. Each pitch is equipped with electricity and water. Some paths and bends are quite narrow and require driving skills. Short distances to the wash houses. Showers and toilets well maintained, always clean and available in sufficient numbers. Short walk to the beach from all pitches. The beach is quite busy in high season, but not overcrowded. Great and secluded beaches in the immediate vicinity (towards Sete); easy to reach by bike. The absolute highlight are the three pool facilities of the Les Méditerranées campsite association, which are all in the immediate vicinity and can also be used. Great slides, paddling pools, swimming pools, some of which are heated; excellent for little "frostbites". Plenty of loungers available at the pools. Relaxed lifeguards. One-to-one swimming lessons are offered by the lifeguards. The two indoor pools are worth mentioning, although these are mainly reserved for adults. So even the grown-ups can relax. The evening program has something for young and old and every nationality. The security provides a sense of security, but is not intrusive. Access doors to the beach are protected by combination locks. Marseillan Plage is a great place for a stroll and, in our opinion, is better than its reputation. The only drawback is that some party guests outside the campsite don't keep to the peace and quiet at night and make a racket in the streets. However, the campsite management cannot influence this. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you for a great vacation.Automatisk oversatt.
- Irmgard G.August 2015Positive tingbeautiful fine sandy beach, great pool facilities, lots of programs for children and teenagersNegative tingSanitary facilities not always separated into "male and female",Ideal for families with childrenChildren of all ages will never be bored on this site, great pools with slides, wide sandy beach, ... lots of sports and entertainment activities. The campsite is correspondingly loud, even late into the evening. Our daughter always liked it and so did we.Automatisk oversatt.
- Michael S.August 2015Positive tingby the seaNegative tingnow too many containers -> therefore too many guests Infrastructure not sufficient in the high seasonbeautiful, but full....After several nice stays at the beginning of the season, we were on the site for the first time at the end of August this year. Despite the end of the vacations in France, Holland and Belgium, the campsite, all the mobile homes and the beach were packed, 90% Germans with lots of children. As is typical... for the country, the pool was already reserved with towels in the morning and then overcrowded during the day. The animation wasn't even bad, but it was too loud and went on until midnight. Afterwards a few parties on the beach until the morning, so no night's rest. Despite constant cleaning, the sanitary facilities were at their limit due to the crowds, sandy and sometimes really dirty. Lots of lifeguards blowing their horns on the beach, constant loud and nonsensical announcements over loudspeakers, beignet sellers etc., for us it was annoying..... Conclusion: Mass tourism with all its side effects in perfection, if you like it, this is the place for you!!! Positive: Staff always friendlyAutomatisk oversatt.
- Marco S.August 2014Positive ting- very clean - friendly staff - ideal for small children (playground, pool, animation) - Use of the pool areas of the other placesNegative ting- Narrow paths, no parking on arrival - narrow access road - Eating out very expensiveGreat vacation with small children! We stayed at Les Mediterranees Beach Club Floride campsite with our caravan in August 2014. The access road to the campsites is very narrow and there is no proper parking lot on the campsite. We arrived at 8.00 am and had to wait until 12.00 pm for our pitch. There are only 6-7 car parking spaces available.... German is only spoken at reception. The sanitary facilities are very clean and spacious. The showers are very large and made of marble. You get a wristband and code numbers for access to the beach, to the other two campsites that you can also use and for the access road. Some of the pitches are small at 70-90 square meters, but they are well demarcated with bushes and very sandy. We also liked the gently sloping sea and the clear water, although it was very cold. The entertainment and the evening program were very good, but mainly in French and English. We also stayed at the other campsites. The CP Charlemagne is mainly occupied by mobile homes, the pool area is nice. On the plus side, there is an indoor pool with a whirlpool, etc. We liked the CP Beach Garden the best. It is relatively new with great facilities and fast and long water slides for the children. Food is relatively expensive in France. Here you have to cater for yourself: it's very expensive on the campsites, and ice cream in France costs around €2.30 per scoop. However, there is also a snack bar on the campsite with chips, hamburgers, chicken nuggets, etc. at normal prices. The journey was just as expensive. From Mulhouse to Agde we paid a toll of around €90. All in all, it was a very nice vacation. Cap de Agde, Sete and the coastal towns are well worth a visit. Marseillan-Plage also has a lot to offer. We'll be back, but we'll pay attention to the vacation periods in France. At the beginning of September, the CP here is only half the price!Automatisk oversatt.
- Gabi M.June 2013Super nice place in the early and late season. Very nice pool with 1a loungersAutomatisk oversatt.
- Dorothee S.May 2013Site with a very nice beach and well-kept green areas. Sanitary facilities are constantly cleaned. Those who like club camping will find everything on the site and in the shopping areas around it. We are not club campers but for three nights out of season it was ok.Automatisk oversatt.
- André G.September 2012
- Kerstin R.August 2012The sanitary facilities were clean. What was annoying was that the toilets and showers were used crosswise and therefore men could also be found in the ladies' section. The paths are very narrow and we had to unhook the caravan and push it around the corners. It was very noisy at night. The beach was... great. We were only able to use the pool for four days as a child had an accident because he was sucked underwater by a pump in the pool. The pool was then shut down and closed. But you have to bring something against ants! The creatures also find their way into the fridge.Automatisk oversatt.
- Udo S.July 2012We looked at the site in 2011 and reserved it for 4 weeks in 2012. Unfortunately, due to a technical defect in our caravan, we were unable to go on vacation. We took out travel cancellation insurance when we made the reservation and have still not received our advance payment of €330. No answers to emails,... telephone contact not possible (answering machine). This service is absolutely not suitable for us and is customer-hostile Recommendation: only book through an adac office.Automatisk oversatt.
- Karl Michael G.June 2012In January 2012, I booked a Cottage 4 P *** for the second half of June 2012 with Les Méditerranées - Beach Club - Nouvelle Floride and also took out travel cancellation insurance directly with Les Méditerranées - Beach Club - Nouvelle Floride. I transferred the total amount at the beginning of April... 2012. Now I had to cancel the trip in May 2012 and asked Les Méditerranées - Beach Club - Nouvelle Floride for compensation in connection with the travel cancellation insurance I had taken out and paid for. To date - at the end of December 2012 - I have received no reply - in my opinion an outrage. I feel cheated. Even a lawyer I contacted has still not received an answer on the matter. In this respect, I can only advise against booking with Les Méditerranées - Beach Club - Nouvelle Floride. Or I should have read old reviews, then I would have learned that Les Méditerranées - Beach Club - Nouvelle Floride did not respond in comparable cases in the past either, but that it only made sense to involve local lawyers. I have received the total amount at the beginning of April 2012. I will have to cancel the trip in May 2012 and I request Nouvelle Floride to Méditerranées, Club de Beach, in the report with the cancellation insurance paid by Les Nouvelle Floride after a loss performance. I did not receive a response from the end of December 2012 until today - in my opinion an insolence. I feel trumped up. A lawyer who has been summoned has not received any response to the matter as of today. I can't wait to check with Nouvelle Floride before making a reservation at Les Méditerranées, Club de Beach, on this point. Or I would have had to read some old reviews, I would have realized afterwards that they also don't respond in the same way as Les Méditerranées, Club de Beach, but only the intervention of local lawyers makes sense.Automatisk oversatt.
