"Mrs. Bente - Great potential, but it seems like the owners don't want you to come back. No service, locked up like in a 'prison' or an 'asylum' No possibility to buy drinks or any food/snacks. The gate is locked, so you can't get in or out by car when you want.

"...absolutely NOT recommended!!! - If you like being a guest of an unfriendly and unmotivated couple, you certainly won't mind the totally exorbitant price of €40/night (two adults, one dog). For a single overnight stay, the price increases by a further €10. It was not possible to book without electricity. We were charged €5/day for the dog, but this was not offset by any services (e.g. dog waste bags). We felt it was simply cheeky how subterranean the price/performance ratio of this place is. You can only arrive after prior reservation, which must be made in writing in advance by e-mail. The unfriendly and snippy manner of the operator on the phone does not necessarily invite excessive anticipation. As the gates were closed after our arrival, we only had the option of exploring the area on foot or by bike. However, a key was required to get in and out of the campsite, for which a deposit of €10 had to be paid in cash. The reception was only manned sporadically, if at all, so an unscheduled departure would not have been possible. You felt barracked or locked up. The wash house could only be used to a limited extent, only two toilets and two showers were open in the ladies' area. There was no light, which made a wet shave in the twilight a unique adventure. Hot water was more of a statement of intent, as was the (non-existent) bread roll service. We found the traffic on the Elbe bridge, especially the rail traffic, very annoying. All in all, this place is trying to generate maximum revenue without anything in return. However, friendliness and customer service appear to be too costly. The transformation from socialism to capitalism is definitely not yet complete in this case. !!! NOT RECOMMENDED !!!

"very unfriendly, no service - - Unfriendly on the phone, no information as to whether it was free - pre-booking only possible via email, no understanding for spontaneous travelers. - Reception unfriendly, barrier and gate closes at 6 pm, no later entry possible, car remains in front of the gate in complete seclusion - 15 minutes by bike to Wittenberg Vacationers with motorhomes without bicycles are locked up in the evening - on arrival notification that the toilets are closed from 9 pm, after protests from holidaymakers they remained open, but without lighting in the anteroom, so that washing hands could only be done with a flashlight and that in Corona times - Generally only 2 toilets open, giving the impression that they wanted to save on cleaning - Showers and washing facilities completely closed from 9 pm - Separate washbasins locked, only 2 public washbasins accessible, incomprehensible in Corona times - Space barely lit - Registration mostly unmanned - Hotel seems deserted - Cyclists' accommodation completely rotten - No staff to be seen anywhere on the pitch - you feel unwelcome - if you stay near the registration in the evening to be in the WLAN, you are unfriendly observed or grumbled at by an older gentleman - Ideal location on the Elbe opposite Wittenberg, but the site is not recommended

"Location good, service and customer friendliness insufficient - Beautifully situated on the Elbe with a view of the city; good cycle path access; disadvantage: sometimes the sanitary facilities are open, then closed again, and the lighting is often switched off; after snacking from a free-standing sour cherry tree on the site, a garden worker made nasty insults and threats.

"Summary - When we registered, we had the feeling that we had arrived very unread. The pitches are not lit, so we went to the wash house in the evening with a flashlight. From the outside, a thorough cleaning of cobwebs on the gable and windows would be necessary. Big drawback, no automatic barrier to get onto the pitch. Only light bread rolls available for breakfast.

Water - Nature - Culture - Sport - Comfort in relation to the old part of town silhouette of the Luther city Wittenberg directly at the Elbe is in the midst of the Elbauen, on the area of an old …weir system the comfort camping site with yachting port. The leisure facility in family estate is again delighted and corresponds to today's requirements on camping vacation. They can observe the Elbe beaver, see the red Milan circling and to know world culture in the churches and museums of the city experience. With the bicycle the Dessau -Woerlitzer - Gartenteich can be attained and in the evening after the Saunagang goes it to the concert into the historicalpregnant castle church or open air in the historical yards. In one hour with the car Berlin, Potsdam, Leipzig and the Spreewald can be attained. You would like to send fast a Mail home, or examine your electronic mail box, no problem. A seminar or a family celebration with campers and in vacation homes? Area for approx.. 20 - 30 persons persons are available.
