- Jutta T.August 2023Positive tingRestNegative tingMuchNot againTerrible sanitary facilities without any privacy.
Kiosk staff unfriendly and listless. Strange opening hours, dirty tables.
Plague of mosquitoes! Critters are not deterred by Autan.
Dog beach is not a beach, but a 2m wide strip of stones and old seaweed.
We fled after 2 days, although we had paid for 5.Automatisk oversatt. - Karl K.May 2023Positive tingRestNegative tingFriendliness, cleanliness on the beach. Apart from the access road, no paths for walking or cycling. No disposal facilities for camper vansUnsuitable for hiking and cyclingUnfortunately, we could not understand some of the information on the homepage, so it is particularly unclear to us how the site can be advertised as a starting point for hiking and cycling tours.
There is no ground inlet for the disposal of gray water.
Very limited opening hours of the restaurant and many kilometers to the next restaurant.
We did not feel welcome as guests.Automatisk oversatt. - Senka L.July 2022Positive tingIn the middle of the pine forest and right on the beach at the same time Nature without the frills Small and clearly laid outNegative tingShopping facilities only in 13km. Gastronomy only after about 20min drive. So stock up well with provisions to avoid driving;)Pure nature for young and old. Top!In the middle of the pine forest and at the same time right on the beach. The children can run around and play carefree. Very good and clean sanitary facilities, self-service kitchen and a small kiosk snack bar, all in the immediate vicinity of the tent.
It's a great place to switch off and relax! Even the children (3, 7, 8) found the beach and forest so exciting that we parents didn't have to do anything to "entertain" them.Automatisk oversatt. - J D.August 2021Positive tingQuiet location right by the sea! Pure natureNegative tingFood supplyPure natureIt was a very nice stay there. Just as we had hoped! Beach right in front of your nose in the middle of the forest! The dog was welcome!
Showers and toilets were clean. There was a camper house with stove and sink. (The last time I camped, there was still no shower or toilet and no electricity)
Only... the opening hours of the kiosk were not suitable for us. Next time we will be better prepared.
There are no restaurants or supermarkets nearby!!!
But that's a good thingAutomatisk oversatt. - Bärbel N.July 2020Positive tingIt is very quiet if you are looking for peace and quiet you will definitely find it thereNegative tingDisadvantages are unfortunately enough. no distance rules are observed not to mention the masks worn on sanitary facilities. adults use them only to 10 percent which I personally do not find nice, we want to go on vacation and our West German neighbors are of the opinion,, I do not need,,, it was really not nice, so we were told personally after they had been addressed. Then we thought that there should have been an in and out driving spear at a certain time. Because sometimes at 21:30 people were still driving and coming into the square. It was put crosswise in a driveway park order was there completely no matter was paid attention to nothing. Which was difficult for us because we were blocked and could hardly get through. Departure was stressful. Trash can missing. Kiosk there, was okay but you don't have to expect much.Beautiful place!Enjoying peace and quiet on the so-called beach was okay, but towards the dog beach you really had to be careful not to step in a heap.Automatisk oversatt.
- Volker S.September 2019Positive tingPeace, nature, locationNegative tingFor us there is noPure relaxation!A simply great place in the middle of wonderful nature with everything the real camper needs. The peace and quiet is unique! A small kiosk sells the essentials and everything else can be bought in the supermarket about 15 minutes away by car. The sanitary facilities are functional and clean. For us, a real insider tip for anyone looking for peace, nature and relaxation. We will definitely be back!Automatisk oversatt.
- Steffi H.August 2019Positive tingVery close to the beach. Unparceled, you can stand wherever you want. Quiet and relaxed place, at least at the time in mid-August when we were there. Toilets always very clean and tidy.Negative tingShowers, flushing house and chemical toilet sinks are no longer up to date or require improvement.Directly on the beachThe pitch is located in a grove right by the sea. You can stand however and wherever you like.
Showers are not really possible. The cubicle doors are made of almost transparent glass so that practically everyone in the washroom can watch you. Some days you just want more intimacy. No place to put your... towel or soap directly in the shower, if you want to throw coins in you have to walk wet and naked through the washroom.
The chemical toilet sink is completely outdated with only one hole in the floor. Everything is very unhygienic and a "water fight".
The scullery smells musty and is very outdated. There is not even a garbage can to dispose of leftover food stuck to the dishes.
Nevertheless, we were able to relax, shower once a day, flush once a day, empty the chemical toilet every two to three days. You can stand it. Because the toilets are very clean.Automatisk oversatt. - Goczal T.June 2019Positive tingPeace and quiet, sandy beach, friendly staff, nice permanent campersNegative tingthat the snack bar closes the kitchen at 6 pm.Nice quiet place in the forestThe site is wonderfully quiet, right on the beach with lots of access points. In summer it is also nice and shady as it is in the middle of a pine forest. Pitches are not parceled out, you pitch where there is space. Electricity is always available somewhere, water is only available in one place and... at the sanitary blocks. The sanitary facilities are almost always clean, depending on who was there before and because they are only cleaned once a day (at lunchtime). There was also hot water and soap in the washbasins, but nothing to dry your hands. The showers are clean but take some getting used to. They have saloon doors that are quite transparent and no storage space inside for clothes, towels, shampoo, shower gel or similar. I didn't put a folding camping chair in front of the door where I put everything I needed for showering. I couldn't wash my hair in the wash house or the wash basin in the toilet block because the taps were too deep. So only in the shower. Shower token for 3 minutes costs 1 €. The sandy beach is super nice and not crowded because you can only get there via the campsite. There's just a lot of dried algae on the edge, but it's nature :-) The staff are very nice :-) Barbecues are ONLY allowed with gas or electric because of the risk of fire from flying sparks. There is a barbecue hut where you are allowed to barbecue with coal, but it is not very inviting due to broken seating. The advertised snack bar, well, the man who runs it is, well, once you get to know him, very nice. You just have to get used to his grumpy tone, you can also get various fresh bread rolls from him in the morning between 8-10 a.m. We always ordered in advance, which are really cheap. And also some hot dishes - bockwurst, bratwurst, currywurst, spaghetti, schnitzel, chips and half chicken (but only if ordered in advance) and cake (but somehow when we went there there were only Danube waves) and packaged ice cream from Langnese. What's a bit annoying is that it's open from 12pm to 7pm, the kitchen closes at 6pm, so if you want to eat something there in the evening it's 5.30pm :-) because from 5.45pm he gets a bit grumpy because he wants to get off work. But the food is really tasty and really cheap (e.g. spaghetti with tomato sauce €4.50) :-) He has a few things like potato chips, drinks etc., but really not much. We always had good internet reception, cost €1 per GB. My cell phone only had reception in the caravan, but that's probably down to my network provider, my friend always had reception. If you're not used to cycling, it's better to go shopping by car, there's a small supermarket 12.8 km away. Otherwise we didn't find anything else to buy. In any case, the place is worth the money, and it is also very cheap for Rügen.Automatisk oversatt.
- Heike B.July 2018Positive tingPeace, beachNegative tingFar away from the shot (but can also be an advantage depending on the interpretation)Secluded and quiet (in a positive sense)We received a warm welcome and were allowed to find our own pitch, which we found under the tall trees in the scorching heat of July 2018. We were there for 2 nights with 2 adults and 2 children - for motorhome owners used to pitch prices, it wasn't the cheapest pitch on our tour of the island, but it was the quietest and most relaxed. We would come again.Automatisk oversatt.
- Christina R.July 2018Positive tingLocation on the BoddenNegative tingA little off the beaten trackOriginal camping in beautiful natureIt was love at second sight when we arrived there with our small caravan at the end of July. The access road is a disaster. We had a reservation because it was peak season. The pitch is not parceled out, so we were told: Either park your car with a caravan on the meadow to the right of the reception... without electricity. Or to the left of reception with electricity, but car parked separately. At first we thought we wouldn't find anything in the electricity area despite our reservation. But then two men from the campsite helped us and we were able to set ourselves up well with electricity near the wash house. Simple, but everything was there. We ate chips at the snack bar on the first evening. Bought bread rolls there the next morning. Super nice quiet location between trees right on the natural beach. No remmidemmi. Just beautiful. Unfortunately we had a serious accident the next day on the way back from a day trip to Binz and returned home early after a stay in hospital without having seen much of the island. I would visit the place again. The price-performance ratio is right. And I don't need any entertainment.Automatisk oversatt.
- Marko H.July 2018Positive tingPeace and quiet (if the campsite is not overcrowded) Nature and proximity to water, landscapeNegative tingWC container on the "adjacent pitch" somewhat improvised and prone to faults.Beautiful location, positive changes after change of operatorSpace very well filled. The adjacent area in front of the barrier was also very busy. We've been there twice and have never seen the site so full. Unfortunately, the toilet container broke down several times during our stay. Beautiful landscape. Quiet, remote location. Next supermarket (Garz EDEKA /... GOERS) in 12 kilometers. Full supplier about 25Km. After a change of operator, the place as a whole looks well maintained and there are some innovations to see. Most of the "wind catchers" of the permanent campers have also disappeared from the beach. There is now enough space for everyone. There is a small snack bar, dishwashing area, tent kitchen, 2 sanitary blocks (functional and clean), barbecue hut, seating for campers, waste disposal area and reception container. On the side pitch (in front of the barrier on the right) electricity + water, unparcellized, with toilet container. We recommend the beach at Grabow (about 15 minutes by bike). We probably won't be going there in the height of summer, but would like to in the quieter fall.Automatisk oversatt.
- Julia B.July 2018Positive tingPure nature Really clean sanitary facilities Friendly staffNegative tingSupermarket far awaySightseeing tour...... we just had a look at the campsite and were very pleasantly surprised by the state of the sanitary facilities, as we had thought that there would be no proper sanitary facilities under Naturcamping. In my opinion, the campsite is suitable for campers who really want to get away from it all, as it... is quite remote, even from the nearest supermarket. But you really have complete peace and quiet, as you are also in a nature reserve. The site is located directly on the Bodden, i.e. the water is rather shallow, at least when we were there.Automatisk oversatt.
