"Beautiful places by the water, unkempt sanitary facilities - Booking service with ferry is good, but was slow. There are no guarantees when booking from Germany. Pleasant surroundings of the campsite, approx. 1 km to Nexo center.

"Fantastic location directly on the Baltic Sea - Nexø Camping is a small campsite with a beautiful location right by the Baltic Sea. Slightly sloping grassland with a few trees and a rocky coastline (not suitable for swimming). The site has a view of the harbor and is right next to the Nexø smokehouse, which serves excellent fish. On the other side, the campsite borders a put and take lake. The small town of Nexø can be reached on foot in 15 minutes, even quicker by bike, where you will find everything you need for your daily needs (supermarkets, pharmacy, cash machine etc.) The site is rustically equipped with everything you need. Bread rolls can be pre-ordered at the registration office, where you will also find German newspapers and a small selection of groceries. A gas stove, microwave and kitchen utensils are available in the camper kitchen, where you can also play board games or watch TV. The operator, Ole, speaks excellent German and always has good advice for his guests on sights and events on the island. Unfortunately, the campsite's own WLAN network was not available. The combination of ferry ticket (we traveled via Rügen) and camping fee is unbeatable!!! Conclusion: For campers who are not too fussy and prefer a small campsite, this is a good choice. We will definitely be back!!!

"Individual pitches right by the sea, great fish restaurant next door. - The site is un-parceled and 'close to nature'. About 5 -6 pitches are located directly by the sea (distance to the water approx. 3m) and offer great views, but they are exposed to the wind. The rest of the pitches are in a slight dip (see pictures), from these pitches you have little view. The sanitary facilities are ok, but could be cleaner. Tip for hot water: if you are the first to shower in the morning, you should first turn on the hot water at a sink until the hot water comes and the hot water pipes are filled (the showers cost separately, so you have hot water right from the start.....). The host is friendly and helpful, bread rolls can be ordered at reception. No usable WLAN available. Tip no. 2: There is a fish smokehouse right next to the campsite, a visit is highly recommended for fish lovers! Access via the campsite (sea side). The town is 10-15 minutes away by bike.

Calm and quite campsite. Directly by Østersøen/to The Baltic Sea - 5 m from the water-edge. Remember, a Package Tour is the cheapest way to visit Bornholm and Nexø Camping. WEB: www.nexocampbooking.dk Its cost only 399€ - one week in …you own caravan or autocamper / mobile home (max 12 meter), 2 people, incl power AND (!) a ferry ticket from Germany (Sassnitz/Rügen t/b 3½ h). 2 and 3 weeks cost only 525€ and 650€. Extend you holiday and pay only from 18€/day. Also a special offer from Ystad (SWE) or Køge/S. Copenhagen (DEN) or by Expressbus from Copenhagen City (DEN). Also possible to bring your own telt - or hire a small cottage / hut, with ore with out own Toilet. The neighbour of the campsite you find the "Nexo Old Smokehouse" - great place to eat. The old Nexø guarry (400 m) as a swimming lake with clean groundwater. You can also swim from the cliff and in cliff-laguns in the Balic Sea. The waves can be perfect to surf on. Outsite the campisite you can get several bus routes to everywhere on Bornholm. And the bus bring bikes if you get to long away. For an angler, the place is extremely suitable. Put-and-Take fishing lake, fishing from the coast - and fishing boat in Nexø Harbour. Butterflypark. Nexø Museum. Martin Andersen Nexøs museum. Paradisbakkerne (3 km). Balka sandbeach (5 km). Exciting waterland/actionpark (6 km). Golf 10 km. And don't forget a day Tour to Christiansø.

From Rønne to Nexø (38). Then drive north (toward "Svaneke") (158) to the outskirts of Nexø city. Use the street sign round Rønne to Nexø. Some GPS show you through Rønne Old city - not good with a caravan behind …
