- Piotr F.July 2018Positive tingTerraced location, separate parking spaces, helpful staff - this help is needed especially when leaving some places.Negative tingThe sanitary complex has its years - especially the sinks. Sometimes loud music late at night from houses adjacent to the campground.Peter and MargaretCamping worthy of recommendation. We were the second time in 5 years. 14 days stay for 35 euros/day (2 people, car, trailer, electricity, local fee). Close to stores, rocky beach (we like it), train station, 5 minutes to beautiful Antibes and 20 minutes to Cannes and Nice. No strangers hanging around the campground. Piotr and Malgosia from Bydgoszcz.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Parc Des Maurettes August 12, 2021Thanks for your stay! Our sanitary facilities are gradually being renovated. For the noisy neighbor, it was a holiday village that has now closed. ;-)
- Niko F.July 2018Positive tingLocation Shopping facilitiesNegative tingSanitary "back to the Seventees"Nice place, but a bit "old school"Very central location. Plots nice and large. TV, water, waste water and electricity on every pitch. Very friendly and multilingual staff. Place nice and clean. Sanitary facilities are getting on in years. Large supermarket, DIY store and bakery approx. 250 m from the site. PERFECT WITH A DOG!!! Gladly again!Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Parc Des Maurettes August 12, 2021Thank you for your stay !
- Reinhard W.November 2017Positive tingShort walk to the nearest train station/bus stopNegative tingUnfortunately not open all year round in 2017!Quiet place with good connections to the surrounding areaVery friendly welcome - pitches well terraced despite hillside location. Off-season offer incl. 10A electricity - otherwise only for an extra charge. Very good location to the beach, to the bus stop (Nice, St. Tropez, Cannes, Antibes) and to the train station (Monaco etc.) Large shopping mile nearby :-)Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Parc Des Maurettes November 25, 2017Thank you for your off-season stay. We are actually closing the campsite from November 15 to January 10 to carry out the improvement work (and also to go on vacation ;-)
We hope to see you again soon!Automatisk oversatt. - Christine A.September 2017Positive tingBeautiful pitchesNegative tingNo bakerVery nice pitches! We had a beautiful pitch surrounded by trees. There is a water connection on every pitch, which is very practical. However, the water didn't run off on our pitch; a paradise for mosquito larvae. Unfortunately, there is no bakery nearby. It took us 25 minutes to walk there and back. Both Cannes and Nice... are easy to reach by train. The sanitary facilities are usually very clean, but start to stink in the evening. The cabins are small, which may bother some people.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Parc Des Maurettes October 12, 2017How do you do? We are pleased that you enjoyed your pitch.
If we are informed of a blocked drain, we will take care of it as soon as possible.
As for pastries, there are 2 bakeries 10 minutes walk from the campsite: one on the left after the station, opposite Mc Donalds; the other on the right of the... station, after Intermarché and the tobacco store. Some other bakeries are less than 5 minutes away by car. We have therefore decided not to offer this service on the campsite (too expensive and/or difficult to estimate quantities).
Thank you for choosing our campsite for your vacation !Automatisk oversatt. - Thomas E.September 2016Positive tingLocation, friendly staff,Negative ting--Convenient location for sightseeingThe site is close to the highway but still very quiet. The terrain is slightly sloping, the pitches sometimes a little small and fragmented (because of the trees). You have to be careful when maneuvering. Pitches L5 to L7 border a small stream, which is quite smelly when there is little water. You can... cycle to Nice, to Cannes it is best to take the bus, which leaves not far away. The staff is very friendly, but only one employee speaks English, otherwise only French.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Parc Des Maurettes September 23, 2017Hello and thank you for your opinion. We are thinking about improving the area near L5 and L7 as we are aware that these are not the best locations. Fortunately, we have much more to offer! See you soon on the Côte d'Azur!Automatisk oversatt.
- Anita R.June 2016Positive tingLovingly designed, park-like area close to the highway and yet quiet, ideal for excursionsNegative tingno baguette/roll serviceVery good starting point for excursionsBeautifully designed campsite with different pitches (from small to large, from sunny to semi-shady to shady) in a park-like, terraced area. In the upper area, the access roads can be somewhat narrow and winding for large caravans. The pitches on a gravel/meadow surface are partly enclosed by low walls.... Bushes, trees, hedges and plants (lovingly designed) break up the space. In addition to electricity (standard: 3 amps, surcharge of EUR 6 per night for 10 amps), some pitches also have a water/waste water connection and satellite cable connection. The satellite cable can be borrowed from reception for a deposit of EUR 20. The sanitary facilities (not separated by gender) are simple but clean. There are standing toilets, sitting toilets and urinals in the toilet area. The hot water in the showers cannot be regulated (initially cold and later very hot ... especially when only 1 person is showering in the shower row) and can be operated at the touch of a button (sometimes very short intervals). There are numerous facilities for washing dishes and laundry both indoors and outdoors. Charcoal barbecues are not permitted on your own pitch, only electric/gas barbecues. However, there are various barbecue areas on the site, some with covered seating. A children's playground, table tennis table, boules court and a TV room round off the facilities. There is also a spa area (whirlpool), access with access code and wristbands (available at reception for a deposit). Unfortunately, there is no store on the campsite, so fresh baguettes can be bought at the bakery (open before 8:30 am, approx. 400 m from the campsite, on the main road into town opposite McDonalds) or at the supermarket (open from 8:30 am, approx. 350 m from the campsite, on the main road out of town). To get to the sea (stone beach; some sandy areas available, right behind the beach parking lot), walk down the road (through a dirty industrial area), cross the busy main road, go through the pedestrian underpass (at the train station) and cross another coastal road, approx. 400 m away. The staff are very helpful (speak good German) and have extensive information material in the library and information corner adjacent to reception with numerous tips for excursions in the local area and further afield. It's worth browsing through the excursion tips including map sections, you're guaranteed to find a tip or two that you won't find in any travel guide. Overall, we liked the campsite very much due to the lovely and individual design, the friendly staff and a mixed crowd. It can be reached quickly from the highway, but is in a very quiet location. From here you can quickly and wonderfully start many excursions. We would love to come back!Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Parc Des Maurettes September 23, 2017Thank you very much for your stay and for this very comprehensive review! - Dirk W.March 2016Negative tingnonegreat campsite, nothing to complain aboutGreat site, situated on a slope, beautiful pitches, friendly staff, sea within walking distance, supermarkets nearby, whirlpool. We hope to see you soon on the French Riviera !Automatisk oversatt. - Thomas H.August 2014Positive tingShowers and toilets clean, nice pitchesNegative tingNothingShowers and toilets clean, nice pitchesNice campsite, clean and sufficient toilets and showers. Plenty of shade, beautifully situated on a slope with flat pitches. 400 meters to the sea, on the way there is a supermarket and a train station. From the train station you can easily get to Cannes (20 min), Nice (15 min) and Monaco (40 min). The train is recommended because even with a two-wheeler you can get stuck in the evening and then fry in the sun. The train is easy on the nerves.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Parc Des Maurettes June 8, 2017Thank you for your review and your stay.
The train is better to travel in summer, that's right. The rest of the year the bus is also good because it is cheaper: 1,50 € / person (2017)
See you soon!Automatisk oversatt. - cendrine m.July 2013not worth the three stars: lukewarm shower noise from neighbors in the evening not enough parking space for all pitches because too small the campsite is in an industrial zone which is dangerous opening hours of the reception office start at 9 am which poses a problem for early departures.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Parc Des Maurettes June 8, 2017We've only just discovered this negative comment.
Our 3 stars and our Camping Qualité diploma are acquired after independent assessments covering over 600 control criteria. But of course we are not immune to occasional faults: for example, if discipline is not respected, there may be an occasional problem... with car parking or noise, despite our vigilance (silence requested at 10pm).
Our campsite is located in an urban and commercial area. It's not an industrial zone, so there's no particular danger.
Regarding early departures, just ask at reception the day before and we'll make the necessary arrangements: payment, return of loaned equipment, etc...
We hope you've found a campsite more to your liking. :)Automatisk oversatt. - Randonneur D.February 2013Noisy, located in a shopping area and close to the station. Tepid showers. One of our worst camping experiences. Please avoidAutomatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Parc Des Maurettes June 8, 2017We're a little late in discovering this negative comment.
Our campsite is indeed located in an urban area, like all the seaside area of the French Riviera. It's therefore impossible to achieve the kind of silence you'd find in the countryside or mountains. However, our establishment is renowned for its... calm: no entertainment, silence at 10pm, no roads near the pitches (except directly at the entrance). Nearby shops and public transport don't cause any noticeable nuisance and, on the contrary, offer great services for organizing sightseeing tours.
We hope that by now you've found the campsite of your dreams. :)Automatisk oversatt. - Kateřina D.June 2012Well equipped campsite, about 5 minutes to the beach. Unfortunately the beach is not the nicest. A short walk to Nice - good place as a starting point for excursions. Nearby a large supermarket. Facilities and sanitary facilities of a high standard. Very nice wellness facilities. Friendly service, sometimes a problem if you don't speak French.Automatisk oversatt.
- Hedvika P.August 2011Nice,quiet campsite, but hard ground(disadvantage for tents) and far from the beach, across two busy roads, but otherwise nice memories.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Parc Des Maurettes June 21, 2012Thank you for your stay.
Here is some more information:
- We pay for tent pegs adapted for reception.

Thank you for your stay.
Here is some additional information:

- Andreas D.May 2010A beautifully situated site slightly elevated from the Mediterranean 400 m away, you just have to be able to maneuver well with a caravan trailer on many pitches, as the site entrances are quite narrow and bordered by walls. Very positive is the connection with public transportation (minibus). For €1 you can travel either to Nice on one side or to Cannes on the other.Automatisk oversatt.
