"Quite nice - Mainly local permanent campers, many of whom were only present at the weekend. We were given a friendly welcome (in English) and allocated a pitch. Our pitch was a former permanent pitch with lots of bare earth and little grass. Showers cost nothing extra. Good wifi is also included in the price. Breakfast rolls can be pre-ordered and barbecuing with charcoal is permitted. Unfortunately, there is no sea view. The beach, which consists of fist-sized pebbles, is about 200m plus 15 meters downhill. As the large pebbles in the water are very slippery, there is a footbridge leading into the water. A narrow strip of grass behind the beach is used for sunbathing. The "Heatherhill" area can be reached via a short forest path in 5 minutes. It only takes 30 minutes to walk around the area, which is divided by a country road.

"DCU Camping Rågeleje - The site is located in a scenic area and relatively close to Kattegat. Good shopping opportunities in the local area. The service building has recently been modernized.

Soft, green hills and a beautiful sandy beach The most beautiful beach with dunes and blue waves is only a few minutes' walk away and can be visited several times during the day. Just outside the square you will also …find the adventurous Heatherhill area, which sends your thoughts in the direction of the Scottish Highlands and invites you to walks with a view out to sea. Experience Tisvilde and take a walk in the fence Take a bike or drive to the neighboring town of Tisvildeleje, where it is buzzing with life all summer. Here you can have a change with another delicious beach and a nice giant ice cream. Tisvilde Hegn with its crooked trees and secret places is also beautiful all year round for a walk. In Rågeleje on camping: Beach towns and castles Less than half an hour's drive away, you can go on an excursion to the cozy North Zealand seaside towns such as Hundested, Liseleje, Gilleleje and Hornbæk when you are camping in Rågeleje. You can also visit the larger cities and castles such as Kronborg in Helsingør, Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød and not least Fredensborg Castle.
