- Klaus S.August 2024Positive tingJust the location!Negative tingunkempt, you can feel that money is being saved here in every corner.Too bad about the beautiful place! This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the site, each time we have been promised renovations and improvements, but NOTHING has happened!
The showers are in absolute need of renovation.
Waste garbage can in a ladies' toilet has been falling out for 3 years, soap dispenser broken and not replaced.
The... sanitary entrances are supposed to be opened with an access card; this didn't work last year and this year we had the same problem.
The friendly lady at reception made a very ignorant/untrained impression and seemed slightly overwhelmed when we had problems.
The reception is only manned until 3pm due to illness. This is a pity but not our problem. The company Regenbogencamping seems to be extremely profit-oriented and on a low budget.
The whole place seems very unkempt.
We will probably avoid the site in future and drive a few kilometers further.
For this reason, there don't seem to be many campers using the site - very empty.
Price and performance are not right here.
Excessively high visitor's tax!Automatisk oversatt. - Petra H.May 2024Positive tingThe site is really right on the North Sea, everything is well maintained, electricity and even the really very clean showers are included in the price (transit campers)Negative tingPoor accessibilityGreat campsite, very poor accessibilityThe place itself is really nice, the advertising slogan: "Closer would be in" is true! The sanitary facilities are very clean and included in the price (including the showers). A separate room with washing machines and tumble dryers (coin-operated) and two sinks, as well as the supply/disposal station... for chemical toilets ... Everything makes a very tidy and clean impression. We were on the permanent camp site with a family tent over Whitsun, as all the pitches on the "main site" were already taken (free choice of pitches, reservation was of course available). I was therefore offered the chance to pitch my tent on the other side. I have to say: it was really great.
Everything is also within walking distance, fish stalls (the one directly on the dyke is unfortunately not good, better to go to Fedderwardersiel (by bike or car ... about 45 minutes on foot), there is really freshly caught fish every day). A bakery, the play barn, souvenir stores, restaurants.
Unfortunately, I do have something to criticize:
Neither the head office nor the reception directly on the campsite can be contacted by email or telephone. I received an answer to my inquiry by email almost 14 days after I made it, by which time my stay there was already over. Nobody can be reached by phone either, you are put on hold and asked to write an email .... great :-) This should really be improved!Automatisk oversatt. - Corinna W.May 2022Positive tingThe proximity to the seaNegative tingThat there are no fixed pitches, the pitches are uneven and not maintained.Beautifully situated by the seaThe place itself is not bad. But when you arrive, you have to choose a pitch yourself, which is really stupid and time-consuming with a trailer in the back. It would be great if this could be changed and you could book a fixed pitch. Furthermore, the pitch was not so well maintained when we were there. We would really like the site without these disadvantages.Automatisk oversatt.
